Chapter 244- I believe you!

"I believe you!"

Zain felt weak on his knees all of sudden! He was overwhelmed at the moment. It was god's mercy on him that he got a chance to let it all out in front of her.

She believed him! These three words brought a warm current to his body.

Rizi couldn't help but smile at the different emotions passing on his face.

At that moment, he had bared all his emotions in front of her.

Rizi stared at his green orbs which reflected a relief.

"Thank you Rizelle! This means a lot to me!" Zain whispered with a small smile and caressed her cheeks with his knuckles.

Rizi's gaze wandered to his lips. "F*ck it!" She muttered her breath and pulled him by his collar as she closed the distance between them.

Zain's eyes widened in shock at the sudden kiss. He almost lost his balance but he balance himself with the help of the sun bed.

She kissed him!!

Rizi continued to kiss him sloppily and Zain was too stunned to react!

Feeling no response from him, her expression cracked and she pulled back!

Zain was still in a dazed state at the shock!

Rizi snorted in disappointment and quickly stood up from the sun bed.

She clicked her tongue and wrapped the blanket around herself.

She took a last glance at Zain who was still in a daze on his knees next to the sunbed and turn around to leave the place before disappointment creaks in.

As she reached the balcony door, she spoke without turning back, "Happy birthday Zain!"

Without waiting for his response, she hurried towards her room.

"What the hell were you thinking Rizelle, kidding him like this!" She scolded herself and continued to walk towards her room with a heavy heart.

Meanwhile, Zain who was in a dazed state heard Rizi's words

"Huh?" Zain breathed unevenly as he stared at the sun bed where Rizi was sitting a while back.

Her last words rang in his ears, "F*ck! She remembered!"

His birthday!

He had long forgotten about it. But soon winced at his behaviour. He was too stunned to react to the kiss. She must have felt embarrassed!

"What did I do!! Sh*t!" Without wasting a second, he dashed towards the balcony door but Rizi was nowhere in sight.

"You fool!" He cursed himself and hurriedly jogged in the direction of her room. He saw she was about to enter her room but before she could do so, Zain pulled her back and she back-hit his chest.

Zain wrapped his arms around her and hugged her from behind, "Thank you, Amore! I am so so sorry! I was just stunned as It was so sudden." He whispered slowly and nudged his nose in the crook of her neck.

Rizi still had a blanket wrapped around her, she was caught off guard but then sighed and rested in his arms. Before she could process anything Zain had turned her around and wrapped an arm around her waist to pull her closer. He cupped her face and gently placed a deep lingering kiss on her forehead.

Then slowly, he kissed her eyes, her nose, her cheeks and then gently he claimed her lips.

He kissed her gently as he kissed her upper lip and then her lower lip.

Rizi clutched the blanket tighter and slowly responded to his kisses.

They both found their solace!

Zain was so overwhelmed that his eyes blurred with the tears.

Their kiss was slow and gentle reflecting their purest emotion and not a hint of lust.

After a while, they both parted to breathe and when Zain whispered, "I love you and I don't want ever want to lose you both!" Zain lifted her chin so she could look straight into his eyes.

He wiped the tears from her cheeks and Rizi raised her arms to wipe away the tears from his cheeks in turn.

Zain felt like a heavy weight was lifted from his chest, and he could breathe normally again.

"Now go and rest! It's almost morning!" Zain gently kissed her forehead once more and then opened the door for her to enter.

Rizi nodded and entered the room, "Good night!"

Zain watched her and gave her a gentle nod, "Good night Cara Mia!"
