I Farm Demons : Unholy Necromancer In the Apocalypse

In a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by war with demonic forces, civilization as it once existed is all but gone.  In its place, a new order had emerged, with humans developing magical abilities as each generation passed.  To ensure the survival of their species, society had been divided into Circles, with each member guaranteed a specific job once they reached the age of eighteen. Xylon Sinclair was an orphan with a limited affinity for magic, and he had been reincarnated as a punishment for his past deeds.  In a former life, he was Zephyr, a powerful demon who served the mighty Balthyrov, the Lord of Demons, until he became a perceived threat. He got killed mercilessly and got forced to reincarnate as a fragile human being as a punishment. Upon reaching the age of eighteen, Xylon was told that he will become a Soul Keeper, a role that he knew nothing about. Despite his confusion, he had no choice but to accept this position.  However, rather than following the status quo, Xylon experimented with the system, using his formal knowledge about the demon realm to resurrect demons from thousands of years ago.  What had started as a mere curiosity soon turned into an obsession for Xylon.  He was fascinated by the power that he could wield by bringing the ancient demons back from the dead.  It was as if he had discovered a new realm of possibilities that he had never imagined before. And then, he started to dream bigger... Xylon Sinclair wanted to rule over both realms, human and demon realm... //////////////// For those who wanted to contact me, here is my discord : Yoonaas#3976 p.s: the cover is purely mine , and it is made solely for this webnovel, it shows Zephyr. You betrayed me !

Akuna watched Xylon from a distance as he was busy reincarnating souls. He appeared more distant than he had been in previous days, lost in his own thoughts and focused solely on his task.

She couldn't help but feel that something was off about him, but she didn't know how to approach him or start a conversation.

Despite all of the disturbances around him, Xylon continued to work hard, his concentration unbroken.

Akuna knew that he was a hard person, even to his own sister, and this only added to her worry. She couldn't understand why he was pushing everyone away and burying himself in his work.

Despite Eva's desperate calls for him, Xylon seemed to ignore her completely as if she didn't exist. It was as if he was so consumed by his own troubles that he couldn't hear her voice or see her tears.

Akuna, on the other hand, stayed by her sister's side, taking care of her and doing her best to soothe her pain.

Akuna could feel the tension in the air between Xylon and Eva.

She knew that something had happened between them, but she couldn't quite figure out what it was. She wanted to help, to ease the tension and mend their broken relationship, but Xylon was so distant and unapproachable.

After three long days of being ignored by Xylon, Eva finally mustered up the courage to confide in Akuna. "You have to tell him," she said urgently.

Akuna was puzzled. "Tell him what?" she asked.

Eva's voice trembled as she spoke. "Tell him that I was not alone that day. I was accompanied by people from the scavenger circle. Tell him that the people of Havag are mad at him."

Her eyes were wide with fear as she revealed this information.

Akuna's heart sank as she realized the gravity of the situation. If what Eva was saying was true, it meant that Xylon's enemies were even closer than he thought. But she knew she had to tell him.

"I will talk to him," she assured Eva, taking her hand in hers. "But you need to rest and focus on healing."

Akuna approached Xylon with a heavy heart, knowing that what she had to say might not be received well. She cleared her throat to get his attention, and he turned his gaze towards her. His eyes were tired, but there was a fierce determination in them that made Akuna nervous.

He was standing in front of the gate of the abyss of demons' souls, just looking at it from afar .

"Xylon," she began tentatively. "I need to tell you something about Eva."

He didn't say anything, but his eyes narrowed slightly, indicating that he was listening.

"She told me to tell you that she wasn't alone on the day she was attacked. She was with people from the scavenger circle, and the people of Havag knew about it."

Xylon's expression darkened, and Akuna could see the anger building in him.

"Why didn't she tell me this before?" he asked through gritted teeth.

Akuna hesitated before answering. "She was scared, Xylon. She didn't know how you would react. She's been through a lot, and she didn't want to make things worse."

Xylon's jaw clenched, but he didn't say anything more. He simply turned his attention back to the abyss and continued his work.

Akuna knew better than to push him further, so she left him alone, hoping that he would find a way to make things right for his sister.

Xylon made his way to Eva's room and sat on a chair beside her bed, waiting patiently for her to wake up.

As he sat there, he couldn't help but notice the bruises on Eva's face and the pain in her expression even in her sleep.

Finally, Eva began to stir and slowly opened her eyes. She looked over and saw Xylon sitting next to her. She was surprised to see him there, but also relieved that he was by her side.

Eva's heart sank as she watched Xylon's cold gaze bore into her. She had hoped that he would understand, that he would see her desperation and fear, but his icy demeanor made it clear that he was not in the mood for forgiveness.

"Xylon...I am sorry, I am so sorry. I should have told you about them, the scavengers. They...they want to hurt you, I am so sure about it," she pleaded, the emotions raw in her voice.

Xylon's expression remained stony, and he pointed to the bruises on her body. "Akuna said that you were with them, they did that to you," he stated bluntly.

Eva felt as though she had been caught red-handed, her secrets exposed for all to see. She didn't know what to say, so she stayed silent, feeling ashamed and exposed.

"You are hiding so many things from me, and you want me to trust you," Xylon continued, his voice laced with contempt.

"Please trust me," she implored, tears streaming down her face.

But Xylon's response was crushing. "No, I am not going to ever trust you. You just talk nonsense all the time."

Eva's tears fell like a torrential rain as Xylon's words pierced through her heart. She longed for his comfort and assurance, but he remained as cold and distant as ever. Despite this, he spoke to her about the scavengers and their fate with a sense of detachment that sent shivers down her spine.

"Only a Sinclair would see this place, Kazarich is not a normal place," he continued, his voice devoid of any emotion. "The scavengers are surely dead by now. They would be dead by draining their magic."

Eva's sobs grew louder at his words, realizing the gravity of the situation.

She knew that the scavengers were not to be underestimated, and their persistence in pursuing Xylon was a testament to their ruthlessness. However, Xylon's words held a finality to them that left her feeling helpless and afraid.

She pleaded with him once more, "Xylon, please, I'm sorry. I won't keep any more secrets from you. Please trust me."

But Xylon remained unmoved, his expression still cold and distant. "As I think more about it now, I feel like there is more to it, you , you were leading them to me , you were trying to bring them to my place, of course you would do this "
