Eva's steps quickened, and she didn't even spare a glance back at Andrew and Werner.
And even when Werner tried to stop her she just pushed him with her power to the ground.
Her heart was heavy with hurt and anger, and she needed to distance herself from them as quickly as possible.
"Hey, Eva, stop! We need to talk," Andrew called out to her, his voice desperate.
But Eva didn't halt her march, her determination unwavering.
She finally turned to face them, her eyes filled with tears that she refused to let fall. The pain in her voice was evident as she spoke.
"After all, I didn't even get my own family to love me, my own flesh and blood," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "I am just so stupid for thinking that strangers like you would ever see me as valuable."
