Now that Rezen was bound by the black cables, the three Guards were given some time to regain their composure and once more, they surrounded him.

Even Guard 1 that received Xianth's kick stood up once more but this time, he was missing at least two teeth. His mouth, lips, and chin has blood on them as he stared angrily at the young man.

They didn't expect that despite outnumbering their enemy, Xianth still could humiliate them like this. It was great that they decided to fight him at the same time. If this was a one-on-one battle then they might lose miserably.

"Arghh..!"

Xianth wiggled his body, trying to remove the cables binding him. However, although the cables were visibly damaged thanks to his energy attack earlier, they were still durable. Instead of loosening, the cables just tightened their hold on him and the wound on his side grew bigger.

"I'll make sure to sell you to a ruthless master!" Guard 1 said viciously while wiping the blood on his chin and lips and Xianth glared back at him.

He is not someone that will become anyone's slave!

Since the current ability of Xianth was not enough to help him break free because of his lack of experience then he just has to make up with it with enough raw power.

He tapped on his energy reserves that were by no means minuscule and his pores released even more mana than before.

The blue aura surrounding him started to grow bigger and bigger. The air pressure grew stronger and the cables starts to tremble.

"Stop him!" Guard 2 shouted and Guard 3 tried to exert even more force with his cables. However, this time, the cables failed to tighten. Instead, they are starting to turn loose due to the energy aura of Xianth.

"AAAHHHHH!!!"

Xianth shouted as he continue to release even more energy. He spent two months in a cave with many magic crystals. Those magic crystals stored a huge amount of energy and they are what sustained Xianth.

Those magic crystals became his food and they are also akin to a tonic. Two months' worth of magic crystals is by no means to be underestimated. That was a huge amount of energy.

If that was not enough, an extremely high-level being was also sealed inside him. There was a small hole in the Saintess's chains and from it, Ischyros' mana was leaking.

Xianth also absorbed and consumed the Phoenix's mana. While the amount might not even be equivalent to a drop of water in an ocean, the Golden Lightning Phoenix is still a creature beloved by the universe.

It possessed tyrannical power and too few people on the continent could possibly match it. Even just a drop of its power is already a great power!

Veins popped on Xianth's face and his cheeks turned red. He really was overflowing with energy. If he could use all of his mana at once, who knows what feats could he possibly do?

He released so much energy to the point that the cables were finally unable to contain him and they broke on their own causing Guard 3 to cry out in pain.

The ground he was standing on also started to crack from the mana's pressure and Xianth started to become the center of a crater

Without him noticing it, the wound on his side also healed as if it wasn't there just a moment ago.

He felt himself overflowing with power as he released an amount of energy that he normally wouldn't use as he still lacked enough control and it was easy to hurt people around him or destroy his surroundings.

All these energies need an outlet and Xianth seemingly vanished from everyone's eyes.

When he reappeared, he was already in front of Guard 1. He clenched his fist and threw a punch that broke the man's nose while sending him flying.

Guard 1's back collided with a tree and it broke into two pieces.

Thud!

That innocent tree fell down but even before it could fall, Xianth was already on his next target.

This time, he appeared in front of Guard 2 and just like what he did to Guard 1, he also punched him in the face.

The man's face was disfigured as he was thrown in the air, receiving the same fate of his back colliding and collapsing a tree.

Xianth did that for the third time to Guard 3 and just like that, he easily defeated all three of them.

He was struggling against them earlier but when he tapped into more of the power that his body possessed, he suddenly accessed enough power to defeat all of them in less than minute

After this feat, Xianth finished using all the energy he was releasing and his face grew a bit pale. Controlling all that energy albeit in a crude way still took a toll on him.

Divinities and Gifts are connected with each other. Divinity refers to the level of an entity while Gifts refer to the superpowers that they have.

The power of Gifts could be generally separated into two parts. The first one is the Gift's raw power. In that area, Xianth was made aware by Ischyros that there was something within him that made his Gift's raw power to be stronger than normal. As for the second part, it was the mastery and control that an entity has over its Gift.

Xianth might have spent two months mostly training but that is only two months. People his age already awakened their Gifts more than a decade ago and that means they have a decade's worth of training.

He doesn't have the same level of control as the natives have and the only thing that made him this powerful was the mysteries hiding inside his body that Ischyros mentioned in the past.

After he exerted that much power, Xianth is already a bit exhausted but there was still one person that he has to deal with. It was the boss of the three Guards!
