Huo

The rest of the group was shocked as they watched Sarah walk in without hesitation. One of the nobles from the group asked why she was so confident as if it was already settled before it began.

In reply she just said: "I am confident because I already have my room settled".

This confused the group even further as she had only just arrived here and there was no way someone was going to just hand over their room, no matter how good looking she is. To understnad where her confidence comes from we will have to look back to when Huo seperated from Sarah at the beginning with the rest of the servants.

Watching as Sarah left to go to the assessment area with the rest of the group Huo had stayed behind as only people wishing to join the academy as a student was to go into that room.

Moments after Sarah had left another elder came in to the room. Huo breathed out a sigh of relief that it the elder was a female as she hasn't had the best experience with males, especially those that have power whether it be money or strength. There was one time when a noble had accidently bumped into her in the street and saw her face under the hood and instantly exclaimed that he wanted her as his woman and tried persuading her by saying things like 'I can give you money, power and authority if you follow me'.

At the time the offer was quite tempting but when she looked into that man's eyes she saw nothing but lust and greed. She could easily tell that he was only spouting a bunch of lies to coax her into following her. Seeing through him she had denied him however he didn't take kindly to being rejected, especially in public, he believed it was a disgrace to be rejected by a mere commoner and that she should have been honored he even took fancy to her.

The other bad experience with men she had was back when her clan had been attacked and the men from the opposing clan had stripped and r*ped the woman. Luckily her mother had forseen that something was going to happen as before the attack the clan was already showing a tense atmosphere and sent her away before it happened however being the curious and worried child she was she went back to check on her mother and clan. Horrified by what she saw she was scarred that day and it took years before she could even tolerate the presence of a man without trying to kill them as she always thought back to the visage of her clansmen naked and strewn on the ground without an ounce of dignity. This sight fueled a hatred she had never known before and it still burnt as brightly to this day and it will never stop until she had ground the clan that did this to the ground so that not even their ashes can be found.

Snapping out of her flashback she followed the group of servants out of the room and they went through the same process as what Sarah had went through except that they didn't have their talent tested as they were only coming in as servants. The servants were only assessed for their status so the academy could know who was in their academy and what they can do so they can be prepared for the worst, even though people can lie about their information, usually what people hide is their stats and at most tweak their level.

Huo did exactly as Sarah ordered and made her appear to be Level 9 and only showed that she was a Whip Master and that she knew some basic whip skills from the Colleen family. Her status also had a title saying she was the servant of Sarah from the Colleen family.

After having their status checked the servants were then lead on a tour first so they knew the layout and rules as well. The only difference was that they highlighted the fact that they couldn't wander anywhere without their master except on the mansion grounds where your master is staying.

Finished with that the elder was somehow informed of what the results of status assessment for the students. After being notified of the results a tinge of surprise had been on her face which Huo suspected was because of Sarah, Tian Long and Jian because she already knew what thye would show on their status which she knew would surely shock anyone.

Shaking off the surprise quite quickly the elder then lead them to the 'Non-Rankers' mansion where they could wander about freely before their masters came back however they were strictly warned not to make too much trouble with the residents of the mansion. They could fight back however they weren't allowed any fatal moves as they would be executed for the murder of one of their students which they didn't want as it could kick up a fuss from the family they came from and the family fro which the person they killed belonged.

Leaving the elder didn't notice the sadistic smile on Huo's face as she had been instructed by her master to get the room 001 as that would place her at the top of the Non-Rankers. Even though she didn't know where her mistress got the information from she firmly believed in her mistress. What made Huo even happier was that she said that she could 'play' with the person from the room if they put up a fight. The only thing she had to do was be low key and make sure that no noise made it past the room, it was just as well that that the rooms were sound-proofed for the students who were 'intimate' with one another.

Leaving the group of servants she entered the mansion and walked straight towards where her mistress said room 001 should be. About twenty minutes later she was finally in front of the room and was panting slightly, not from exhaustion but from excitement as she has been thinking of new ways to 'play' with her new Whip Qi as she wasn't allowed to practice on anyone because of Sarah disallowing it. Exept for that one time where Tian Long accidently moved in his sleep and tore the lower half of her dress nearly revealing the underneath. Although at that time she was happy that it happened but she hid it immediately after seeing Sarah smile. That smile sent shivers down her spine. Tian Long didn't dare sleep near her again to prevent any more mishaps, to this day he still shivers a little whenever he remembers their little session.

*Knock ... Knock*

Opening the door was a girl who had a slightly disheveled appearance as if she had just woken up. Huo couldn't believe it, standing in room 001 was a little girl, who looked like she had just woken up from sleep even though it was in the early evening. The girl didn't look a day past ten, that same girl was now looking at her with an aggrieved stare.

"What is it?" The girl said in a slow and tired tone.

Looking at this girl Huo's heart deflated as there was no way she was going to do anything to such a cute little girl ... maybe when she turns eighteen was what she thought in the next second. Unknown to Huo as soon as she had that thought a chill suddenly breezed across the girls neck instantly waking her up.

"Hi there, I was actually wondering if my master could get this room please" Huo used the softest tone possible in hopes to coax the girl instead of the rough approach.

"But this room is Ming'er's" Ming'er pouted as she liked this room.

"Ok, ok. How about I come in for now and we wait for my master to come?"

"Hmmm... Ok. Since big sis asked nicely" Ming'er went back in the room as did Huo. Closing the door behind her all she had to day was keep the girl occupied until Sarah showed up.
