Chapter 132: Heading up!

I swear I totally didn't get drunk last night. It's a week day! I'm working here!

---

"These metals seem pretty dense..."

Tsuna mumbled as he closed his eyes, completely ignoring the chatter of disbelief in the room over the revelation of Lady Shibabawa's prophecy.

He channeled his energy, extending it through the ground, reaching toward the foundation of the entire building. His mind traced the intricate structure, feeling the weight of the metal beneath him.

As he opened his eyes, a subtle gleam of interest sparked in them, "Should I steal this metal?"

The material he sensed was unusual—lighter yet denser than average steel. He could already see the advantages. His metal bending would be less taxing on his body, and the added density would make his attacks far more lethal.

But before he could dwell on it further, a voice snapped him back to reality.

"If it's in the next six months, that means it could happen tomorrow… or even today, right?"

Saitama's casual tone cut through the tension in the room, pulling Tsuna's attention. He glanced over at Stitch, who was still processing the bizarre situation of a seemingly random hero intruding on the exclusive S-class meeting.

The Minister of Justice, visibly caught off guard by Saitama's nonchalant demeanor, furrowed his brow in confusion.

"That's true," Stitch replied, nodding hesitantly. "But… who are you, anyway?"

"Great! Seems like it's worth it to come all the way here," Saitama ignored Stitch's inquiry as his bored expression morphed into excitement.

"Alri—!"

Before Stitch could finish his sentence, the ground beneath him trembled violently. He lost his balance, staggering as the entire building shook with a low rumble that reverberated through the walls.

Tsuna's eyes narrowed in response, sensing the disruption in his energy flow throughout the building. The sudden tremor caught everyone off guard. He turned sharply to Saitama and said jokingly, "Saitama, did you just jinx us?"

"Ah, did I?"

Saitama scratched his bald head awkwardly, his tone casual as if he hadn't just cursed them all with impending doom.

"What the hell just happened?"

"Are we under attack?"

"No way... the prophecy is actually happening!"

The S-Class heroes muttered amongst themselves, glancing around in confusion and annoyance as the floor continued to shake beneath their feet.

Most of them had only come for a meeting, expecting to lounge around for a bit before any real action. Now, the reality of Lady Shibabawa's prophecy was sinking in, and the prospect of having to fight immediately left them grumbling in frustration.

Meanwhile, just outside the headquarters, plumes of smoke were rising from the initial attacks.

"W-What is that!?"

"M-Mom!"

Panic spread like wildfire as citizens screamed and scattered, running for their lives. A few froze in place, pointing trembling fingers toward the sky. Their faces turned pale, fear seizing their every breath as they stared at the terrifying sight above.

"It's... it's over..." someone muttered in despair, the words barely a whisper as an eerie silence crept over the crowd.

"Kekeke! Look at these pathetic humans, trembling in fear!"

"Today, we're going to conquer them all!"

High above, several bird-like humanoid creatures flapped their wings, their grotesque forms casting shadows on the terrified citizens below. They cackled among themselves, thrilled to witness such horror in the eyes of the humans they so despised.

But the monsters were unaware of the ominous shadow spreading across the sky. Slowly, a massive unidentified flying object began to descend, blotting out the light as it loomed menacingly over the city.

"Hmm?"

A large alien with pale gray skin and blood-red eyes furrowed his brow as he observed the bird-like humanoid monsters flapping nearby.

Slowly, confusion flickered across his face. A question echoed in his ear, "Melzargard, what's going on?"

"There are some... bugs here," Melzargard replied flatly. Without hesitation, his massive hand morphed into a gleaming blade. In a swift, effortless motion, he slashed downward, cleaving through the creatures like butter.

They fell from the sky in pieces, unaware of what had even struck them.

As he watched their remains plummet to the earth, Melzargard mumbled, "But I've taken care of them, Geryuganshoop."

"Good."

Geryuganshoop's voice resonated once again in his ear, satisfaction clear in the tone. Melzargard turned his gaze toward their colossal pirate ship, which began to hum with energy.

The entire vessel suddenly lit up with an ominous purple glow, as a massive beam of energy rapidly charged within it.

Before anyone could react, the beam shot downward toward the ground. The helpless citizens could only watch in horror, frozen as a deafening explosion tore through the city. The shockwave rippled across the earth, shaking the ground violently as the entire city was engulfed in a blinding flash of destruction.

Along with another tremor, far more potent than the last, the S-Class heroes immediately stood up. This time, their boredom completely vanished as they all exchanged wary glances.

"T-This..."

On the other side, Stitch looked at the hologram on the table, causing everyone to turn and take a look. He fell to his knees before speaking, "99.9% of the city has been completely destroyed!"

"What?"

"How is this building still standing...?"

"We've especially requested Metal Knight to reinforce this building..."

These questions lingered as one of Stitch's employees, Jinruzen, explained that their headquarters was reinforced with a thick metal capable of withstanding even a nuclear weapon.

"Is that why I see no windows?"

Metal Bat raised his eyebrows at the information.

"I see, so that's why the metal is pretty dense?" Tsuna mumbled to himself before turning to Saitama, who was looking up at the ceiling. "Are you going up?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'll go first..." Saitama replied, seeming ready to jump.

Tsuna shrugged his shoulders and said, "Sure, I'll join you later..."

In an instant, Saitama's figure shot upwards, his bald head piercing through the ceiling with such force that the metal—designed to withstand a nuclear blast—cracked open like butter. King, who had been standing nearby, watched in stunned disbelief, his usual composure slipping as he muttered, "...Should I go bald too?"

As debris continued falling to the floor from the gaping hole, Tsuna turned to Genos and asked, "Genos, you wanna go?"

"Of course," Genos replied without hesitation.

Tsuna glanced back at King, whose throat bobbed nervously. With a chuckle, Tsuna patted King on the shoulder. "I know, don't worry about it. Take care."

Confident that King would manage somehow, Tsuna waved a final goodbye and stepped onto a large chunk of metal that had broken free from the floor.

"Tsuna, where's my ride?"

Genos asked, eyeing the single metal piece with concern.

Tsuna smirked, sending a shiver down Genos's spine.

"N-No! I can go up there myself—"

Genos's protest was cut short as he felt an invisible force tighten around his body. Tsuna's metal bending gripped him firmly, and with a flick of his wrist, he sent Genos soaring through the hole that Saitama had created.

"TSUNA, YOU BASTARD!!!"

Tsuna followed suit after Genos' scream as the two of them raced upward through the gaping hole, debris and dust trailing behind them.

Tatsumaki, who saw this, scoffed while rolling her eyes. "Just drilling a hole like that? I can do it with my eyes closed!"

Her figure floated as she blasted another hole, leaving everyone staring speechlessly at the two holes. Metal Bat then turned to Jinruzen and asked, "Are you sure that thing can actually defend itself from a nuclear explosion?"

It didn't seem convincing now that these two had drilled holes so easily.
