Last Words

Bastien was punched in the face. He also punched, but Hosman crouched down and hit him again.

"Hahahaha! Bastien! While you were doing useless things, I was risking my life in battle! You can never beat me!"

Bastien kept blocking Hosman's fists while moving back.

Boom! The tail of the ten-meter-long gray snake hit the ground. Egon and Rupert had been hitting Vilret, but his scales were too hard.

Cid and the policemen were lying on the ground. Alan and Aria were fighting Gasgor.

Bastien caught Hosman's fists and gripped them hard.

Hosman laughed. "Do you want a contest of strength?!"

He spread his palms and also gripped Bastien's hands with his fingers.

Bastien was being pushed back. He was gritting his teeth, then a smile appeared on his face. "Hosman, you will pay for your arrogance. Don't underestimate a noodle maker!"

"Ahhh!" Hosman screamed when his fingers were forced to bend.

Bastien headbutted Hosman, then his arms lifted him to the air. His two hands held the man's head.

Boom! He pulled down Hosman and hit the man's head with his knee.

"Hosman!!!" shouted Vilret, then he rushed and bit toward Bastien.

Bastien turned around and held the giant snake's body. He screamed as he spun, then he threw away Vilret.

Vilret crashed to the ground.

Boom! Bastien jumped and slammed his arms on the snake's head, then he repeatedly punched. He stopped punching and looked at Gasgor in the distance. "There is one enemy left."

Rupert and Egon looked at the giant Grivvarm with astonished faces."I-Is he just a noodle maker?"

Meanwhile, Rhys and Siegbert were exchanging blows in close proximity. The concrete road suffered damages.

Siegbert swung down his sword and attacked with an energy blade. Rhys turned around and moved forward.

LIGHT RING

Siegbert blocked the stab, but he was blown away by a shockwave. A string made up of light energy was tied to his hand.

Boom! Rhys spun and smashed Siegbert on the road. The concrete gave in, then Siegbert fell to the underground sewer.

Rhys stabbed from the air, but Siegbert dodged. Rhys followed and attacked.

DIVINE WEAPON: RUPTURE

Siegbert moved the roots on his back and wanted to block the light spear.

The elemental weapon in Rhys' hand suddenly changed into a silver spear. The giant blade of the spear ruptured the roots.

Siegbert was shocked. He did not understand how a magic weapon could transform from an elemental spear and suddenly appear to a Tier-one exonn.

Crunch! The spear also ruptured the magic shield and stabbed Siegbert's body. He looked at the spear that easily destroyed his shield and he realized a shocking possibility.

Siegbert chuckled while blood was flowing from his mouth and cracks appeared on his body. "I thought I had a great destiny, but I never expected my destiny to be your stepping stone."

Then his memory of his parents, even the admiration and gratitude of Enberg City residents were flashing in his mind. Seeing their smile gave him an unexplainable good feeling. He thought the power of magic would give him a lot more joy, but he was mistaken.

Siegbert stared at Rhys. "You should be holding a huge secret. I thought Earth was finished, but there might be a difference if you are in the picture. As a former human and earthling, let me give you a parting warning. Be careful of demons, their plan is not what you think it is."

His demon core broke. There were many cracks all over his body, then he broke into pieces with a smile on his face.

Rhys was panting while he was thinking of Siegbert's last words.

The silver spear turned into rabbit form of Fu. "Does he have an idea about a divine weapon?"

"That is possible. He seems obsessed with magic, so he probably did some deep research. He is under the direct command of Tenel and he is also a mayor who could access information, so he should have a deep knowledge. Come back to my soul space first. We have to quickly help the others."

Fu turned into light and went to Rhys' head, then they flew away from the hole in the ceiling.

Benson was in his house with an unbelievable look on his face. His trusted bodyguard was reporting what their men were seeing in the condominiums.

"S-Siegbert became a demon? Exonns are fighting a demon and other races near the condominiums? W-What the hell is going on?" asked Benson with wide-opened eyes, then he reacted. "How about the men that we ordered?!"

"They did not make a move and joined the others in evacuation."

Benson felt relieved, then he felt ecstatic. "Hahahaha! Damn Siegbert! I don't have to plant something on your head to make you fall. You dug your own grave! Quickly call our friend in the media. Tell our men to capture a picture of Siegbert in his demon form. It's a good time for publicity. Where do you think I should appear? It has to be somewhere safe, but it has a role in the current situation."

"Hahahaha! That is a good idea. Go and prepare the car. Tell our friend in the media to meet us there. Is Jim with our men that are watching the situation?"

"I heard that he went somewhere to communicate with the middleman that hired the men."

Easton had long hair, and the upper part of his face was also covered with a shield. There was crackling lightning on the giant lance in his hand. "He escaped."
