A Situation in the Red Zone

The arrow was shot. It rapidly flew as a tornado surrounded it. The man blocked it with his saber, but it was pushed to his body, then he was blown away.

"I-Is he alright?" asked Aria when the man was knocked out outside the stage.

Argam laughed.

The association staff assured Aria that the man was fine as they healed him.

Aria felt relieved, then she moved down the stage.

"Hahahaha, I would have pummeled him if you did not knock him out," said Brielle.

"H-He sounded very confident, so I made the attack a bit stronger. I feel relieved that he is fine."

"Hmpf! He is your enemy. He dares to accept your cousin's offer."

Aria shook her head, then a helpless smile appeared on her face. "He is not a demon. I will feel a heavy burden if something happens to him. What if he has a family that completely relies on him? What if he has a pregnant girlfriend or he is a single parent? What if..."

Brielle was speechless as Aria kept saying possibilities.

The matches of other exonns continued, then it was Egon's turn. His opponent was the young man named Rupert who was wearing eyeglasses.

Rupert got ready for an attack. His right hand held the handle of his sheath sword. He took a sword stance and stared at Egon with sharp eyes. He thought,"I closely watched his simulation test. I made a simulation in my mind. Wherever he dodges, it's my win."

Water moved around Rupert's feet.

Splash! He slid with water and suddenly appeared in front of Egon.

LIGHTNING DRA-

Egon casually raised his fist in front of him, and Rupert moved his face directly to the fist on his own.

"Acck! D-Damn it! Why did you not dodge!?" Thought Rupert, then he passed out, causing the others to laugh.

The last fight was between Brielle and Rhys.

Brielle smiled. "You are not using a magic weapon, so I will do the same and fight you fair and square."

A sword made up of fire energy was formed on her hand, then she suddenly dashed. A spear was stabbed toward her, but she jumped up.

Boom! She suddenly attacked from the air and hit the floor, but Rhys turned around as another spear formed in his hand.

Rhys was about to attack with his spear, but a ring of fire spread from Brielle. He jumped away, but an energy blade attacked him in the air. He flew up, then he quickly moved down.

Brielle also flew up toward Rhys. She swung her sword at the incoming spear, but there was no impact, which caught her off guard.

Rhys spun in mid-air as the spear on his right hand scattered into lights, then he swung the spear that formed on his other hand.

An energy blade hit Brielle and crashed her to the stage.

Boom! A rocket-like spear hit the floor near Brielle's head and exploded.

Argam chuckled. "It's Rhys Creed's win. Your head could have been severely injured if that spear hit."

Brielle stood up and scratched her head with frustration. He pointed at Rhys and said,"You! I will challenge you again once I became stronger!"

Rhys only gave her a smile.

Aria consoled the frustrated girl.

Argam gathered the new exons in the hall. "After seven days, you will be notified of the location where you will meet your team. If battling is not your best field, we will find that in the next part of the assessment. Each team will be given a mission. A folder that contains information will be sent to you, so you can prepare yourself.

An analysis of your battle skill will be sent to you in the evening, so you will know which part to improve. You could stay here until the next mission and ask for coaches to teach you. You will have free lodging in a hotel if you decide to stay. You have to make a decision the next day. Notify the staff if you make the decision. Your room number, credits, and money have already been sent to you. The initial assessment is done. If you want to move to the hotel, there is a bus that will take you there if you are too tired to fly."

Meanwhile, within a castle in the red zone, Uruk and the chubby orcs were reading a comic. They smiled and chuckled as they read.

"Udon is so silly," said one of the chubby orcs named Ortu.

Ugrul chuckled and nodded his head. "He is as silly as Nag."

Nag felt insulted. "I'm silly?!"

"Idiot! Silly means cute! Did you not read the comics?! Cute means attractive!!"

"A-Attractive?" Nag rubbed his head and felt flattered.

Nol was watching the silly orcs. He thought that his life was finished. He did not expect a sudden turn. An imperceptible smile appeared on his face as the orcs laughed.

The orcs finished reading and looked at the chubby human with approval.

"Hahahaha! Human! You did a good job," said Uruk as he walked toward Nol, then patted the chubby man's shoulder. "As long as you work for me, you will not be lacking food and meat."

Nol had a flattering smile while a thought was running in his mind."Damn orc! I want money! But it's fine. You are an important part of the rise of me, Nol, hahahaha!"

"Boss, it's time for you to make a noise,"said Ugrul.

"Ohh, is it already that time? Escort the human out of the red zone, or else he'll end up in a beast's belly."

"Yes, boss!"

Uruk moved out of the castle and flew out of the red zone. He transformed into a demonic orc. His yellow skin turned dark, then horns appeared on his head. A huge projection appeared behind him, then they combined.

Boom! A ten-meter demonic orc landed outside the red zone.

ROOOOAR! Red fog came out of Uruk's body, then it formed into eight three-meter-tall demonic orcs.

The exonns who were patrolling had sweat on their faces when they saw the orcs charging toward them.

An exonn was rapidly flying, then a giant projection also appeared behind him. "Damn pig! How dare you attack again?!"

In the red zone, a demonic queen bee was lazily lying within a huge honeycomb. The honeycomb was on a giant tree with purple leaves. The tree was surrounded by huge plants and flowers. There were bee girls flying around the plants.

A bee girl was sitting on a huge flower while looking at a distance. She sighed and felt bored.

The queen bee named Vitriz yawned as she heard the faint sound of fighting outside the red zone. She thought,"Uruk is too dedicated to his job of making noise to divert attention."

Nol was looking at the huge honeycomb. A smile appeared on his face as a plan was brewing in his mind.
