Yunyue's fear? The Third floor!

Yun Qingyue immediately looked down and saw the child in her arms crying silently as she looked at her with her round big almond eyes filled with hot tears.

Yun Qingyue's heart immediately softened seeing such a scene as previous nervousness was extinguished completely and was replaced by a newfound strength and determination.

Yun Qingyue decided on the spot that she couldn't be scared anymore. She had to fight. So what if she was an omega. She can also become extremely powerful as long as she awakens a superpower. She has heard about superpowers from Ling Long's gang and one time, they were trying to capture an omega but was beaten back because that simple and petite omega actually had superpowers which made her body strength far more than human limits.

Yun Qingyue herself has seen Ling Long use his flame superpower. He could actually create flame by his hands! Those flames were enough to burn a zombie or even a human to nothing but ashes.

Yun Qingyue believed that as long as she didn't give up hope, as long as she continued fighting with all her strength and utilised every ounce of her strength and wits, she would definitely survive.

As she thought about this, Yun Qingyue inadvertently looked at Lu Wuqi from the corner of her eyes who was wiping her face with a clean part of her coat. There was a frown of disgust on her face as the dirty and smelly blood made her feel almost like vomiting.

The way she kept wiping her face and sniffing heavily with her nose and immediately frowing from the unbearable smell, Yun Qingyue couldn't help but feel that the current Lu Wuqi was very funny and cute even!

Yun Qingyue immediately pulled her thoughts from going into some uncontrollable direction as she thought,

"It would be better if She stays like this forever."

At this time, Yun Qingyue turned her attention away from Lu Wuqi and immediately started coaxing her brave little girl in her arms,

"Oh! Baby... Don't cry. My Yunyue is such a brave little girl right!"

Hearing her coaxing words of her mother, little Yunyue still didn't stop crying and she buried herself in her arms aggrievedly and sobbed softly. Just now, Little Yunyue was extremely scared because she saw that her mommy who was suddenly very gentle towards her today was pressed down by those bad guys and she also saw a lot of blood flowing which made the little child mistake that her mommy was hurt.

Even though, Lu Wuqi treated Yunyue extremely badly before, so much so that a person like the previous Lu Wuqi should never be forgiven no matter what.

But for a very young child like Yunyue, she only thinks that her mommy was angry with her and as long she was obedient and didn't be a naughty child, her mommy would not adandone her.

Deep in her heart, the idea that her mother hates her may have formed bit by bit but the sudden warmth and gentleness that she recieved today by her mommy healed a lot of it.

After all, a young child like her cannot distinguish between who is good to her and who is not, especially when the other party is her own mother.

The bond between a child and mother is very hard to erase. And if Lu Wuqi continues to treat her with sincerity, gentleness and love, Yunyue would again recover from her inner trauma very easily.

At this time, Yunyue raised her head from Yun Qingyue's arms and said with a crying tone,

"Mom... Why is mommy covered in blood?? Was she hurt by the bad guys?.... W-will s-she die!!! I-I don't want mommy to die... Wuwuwu~~"

Hearing the trembling voice of the little girl, Yun Qingyue said softly,

"No! My baby. That blood doesn't belong to mommy. You saw how strong mommy is right. How could she hurt by those bad guys? She beat the bad guys and the blood is from the bad guys. Do you understand?"

Hearing the reassurance from her mother, Yunyue immediately felt a lot better and stopped crying but nuzzled in Yun Qingyue's arms tightly.

They were currently walking up the stairs with cautious steps and Lu Wuqi also heard their conversation from behind her and immediately said in a low voice,

"Don't worry, mommy is strong. Nothing would happen to her. Mommy will protect both of you."

Her voice was very low, enough for only the three of them to hear but the mother and daughter both felt an indescribable sense of security from her simple words and Yunyue also felt a lot better as she and Yun Qingyue both looked ahead calmly at the strong and slender back of alpha woman before their eyes.

Yun Qingyue retracted her gaze and continued walking calmly up the stairs.

Lu Wuqi and Yun Qingyue with the child came to the third floor but they didn't immediately take the stairs to the fourth floor as Lu Wuqi suddenly decided to enter the third floor first.

Yun Qingyue was a little confused as to why when she suddenly saw that the third floor seemed to filled with clothing shops.

Lu Wuqi saw her confusion and said in a low voice,

"Let's change our clothes here first. And also used the restroom to take a quick shower and fullfill our necessary needs."

After hearing her words, Yun Qingyue blushed a little unconsciously before she felt that what Lu Wuqi said was right.

Their bodies were extremely tired and the blood and smell makes it even more unbearable. Yun Qingyue herself has some private needs that she has to do as well as the little child. Lu Wuqi also wanted to get rid of the blood as soon as possible.

Lu Wuqi and Yun Qingyue immediately came infront of the large glass entrance door and Lu Wuqi made a shushing gesture towards Yun Qingyue and the latter immediately understood and put her hand on little Yunyue's hand to prevent any accidental sound from leaking.

Lu Wuqi looked ahead and tried to scan the surroundings but in the darkness, it was hard to see anything clearly.

Fortunately, they have been running in the dark for quite some time and their eyes have become a lot more adapted to the darkness which allowed Lu Wuqi to somewhat make out the inside of the third floor.

She immediately looked back before saying to Yun Qingyue in a low voice,

"You stay here and don't move. I will go inside and check it out to see if there's any danger. "

After saying that Lu Wuqi waited for Yun Qingyue's reply patiently and only moved forward when the latter nodded slightly.

Lu Wuqi immediately entered the third floor and asked the system,

"System? The scanning function is on right."

Hearing her words, the system which usually stays silent immediately responded enthusiastically,

"Yes! Host. Don't worry. The scanning will always be on. The system will immediately notify host if there's any danger ahead."
