"Ok, that's unexpected. What are the chances this is a trap, or that they surrendered out of fear after seeing the size of our army?" Malti asked, though even she knew it was a foolish question.

"Minimal, I think. If they were scared, they would have sent disposable zombies in a reckless fight and retreated. Instead, it seems they're trying to show they're not hostile and want to talk," Treevor replied, thinking about the elf woman who had recognized him.

"How should we respond?" Malti agreed with his assessment but found it hard to determine their next step.

"We are not hostile forces, so please listen to me!" The orc ghost stepped forward and spoke, interrupting their telepathic conversation.
