Chp. 10 Aiden

(Yuuma) Aiden, How long does it take for you to put down your traps?

(Aiden) Uh, I never really thought about it. But my Skill is Rank D so I think around 30 seconds.

(Yuuma) That's faster than what I thought... what kind of traps do you have? 

(Aiden) All kinds, I have Traps that stop people's movements, I have poison traps, uh actually, that's it.

(Yuuma) Can you be specific, how do you stop their movement?

(Aiden) Well, one is a gravity trap, that increases gravity or decreases the gravity, the other one I have is some spiky vines that entangle the target. 

(Yuuma) Alright, What about your poison traps?

(Aiden) I have 4 types, one slowly kills the target, if there in it. another one is that it's a poison that slows down their brain. The 2 newest ones I've gotten, was this weird acidic trap, that melted anything standing in it slowly. The last poison trap I have is a trap that makes it so the person is sick, like throwing up and diarrhea everywhere.

(Yuuma) that just sounds like torture methods. 

(Aiden) well, I've only ever used the gravity and the vines ones because they are way easier to use.

(Yuuma) ok, the other ones probably aren't good for hunting, you are a hunter. 

Since we're already at the magic arena, we'll work on his traps, then tomorrow we'll work on hit gift.

(Yuuma) alright, we are going to work on your gravity skill first since we're right next to the magic arena.

(Aiden) ok.

we walked to the magic arena and walked into the huge building, we had a few weird looks, but they didn't mess with us for our training session.

(Yuuma) ok, place your gravity trap right here, tell me when you are done.

War System do you know how strong his gravity trap will be, and will I be able to withstand it?

(War System) Your strength stat is 40, but your Magic stat is 84, and going by Aiden, his skill is D rank... there is a 75% chance that you will be able to withstand it. 

(Aiden) alright, I finished that block, to that block is my spell.

It is a 5 by 5 square, I thought it would be a circle, like the spell circles mom made back at home, to heat the cooking pot.

(Yuuma) I'm going to stand in your gravity spell.

(Aiden) I put 20 mana into the skill

(War System) 50% chance that you will be able to withstand it.

(War System) Yes

(Yuuma) that's a lot of mana, how much mana do you have?

(Aiden) 45 

after that I stepped into the spell, it took a second then I felt pressure on my shoulders, and was slammed into the ground on 1 knee, I slowly stood up in the gravity trap.

(Yuuma) Chantless Magic Healing 

once my skill was activated, I was slammed into the ground, it felt like I got hit by a truck, and then was getting crushed by a boulder. I tried to push myself up, but the weight was too much. then I felt the pressure disappear like it was never there.

(Aiden) Are you Ok, Yuuma?

(Yuuma) Yeah, I just wasn't expecting it to be so strong.

(Aiden) well most of the time, the traps I place don't get fully activated because monster boars aren't that strong, if I'm correct they are F-rank Magic monsters.

(Yuuma) Magic boars don't even have magic, so they are lucky they get a rank, they shouldn't even be called magic boars. *Laughs*

(Aiden) *Laughs*

(Yuuma) Why are you laughing?

(Aiden) I don't know, seeing you laugh, made me want too

(Yuuma) I didn't laugh.

(War System) Someone is using a Skill.

who is it? are they close?

(War System) No, their not even in the building.

Is there a way to block their magic?

(War System) Yes, but you can't learn it, normally, you have to get a piece of equipment with an enchantment from a dungeon, that has magic block capabilities. 

Well, then I guess we just have to stick with it.

(Yuuma) Aiden, make another gravity trap.

(Aiden) ok 

War system, I just thought of something, what if I make a gun that shoots a magic signal, or like magic particles, that will nullify magic, or skills does that work?

(War System) I think that could work, I'm not sure though, since you have to imagine the gun, you'll have to figure out what it looks like, I can make all the pieces.

I'll do that later since I'm going to be showing Aiden my Gift.

(Aiden) Alright I'm all finished, I only have 5 mana now, and I'm going to have to sit down for a bit.

(Yuuma) Thats fine. wait don't forget to come to my dorm room...

(Aiden) *Snoring* 

He's asleep! he did use a lot of mana, so I guess it justifies it

(Yuuma) ok, let's step on this dumb trap.

as I stepped on the trap, I felt the pressure on my shoulders again, but it was weaker than before. I used to heal again, and the same thing happened before, I was slammed into the floor. 30 minutes passed and the trap hasn't shut off. The system does Aiden have to turn off the trap?

(War System) Yes, or you can wait for 4 hours, for the mana to run out.

(Yuuma) HEY, AIDEN WAKE UP.

(Aiden) *SNOOORE*

(Yuuma) I'm going to kill him.

alright, War system, I'm going to try to make the magic gun. 

(War System) Ok. Using Gun Maker Gift.

Ok, it looks like this I can't give the exact measurement since I had to think of it quickly. It started being built piece by piece again.

(War System) this will cost 40 mana to make. Confirm?

Yes

(War System) Do you want to save this to your Blueprint for 10 mana?

Yeah

(Yuuma) Gun Maker Blueprint, Magic Particle Blocking Gun. 20 mana?

(War System) *Warning* You will be left with 10 mana. Confirm?

(Yuuma) Of course.

The Gun Materialized into my hand, I pulled the trigger. and the trap was broken. I got up.

(Random) WHY IS MY MAGIC NOT WORKING?

(Random) Yeah, Mine Too.

Seem Like this has a lot of range, or maybe I put too much mana into it.

(War system) You only needed 5 mana to destroy the trap.
