Sword Mastery!

The mysterious person looks on with astonishment while floating in the middle of this expansive and seemingly infinite space. He couldn't believe what had transpired in the past three months, especially what happened in the last few days.

'I know he has a concept called evolution, but to think that he'll be able to reach such an incredible level of sword mastery in a mere three months!' He thought in wonder and amazement. Such sword mastery is something that the average person would never be able to unlock even if they were to spend thousands of years learning the art of the sword.

It wasn't that surprising Saber reached such a level, what was surprising was the fact that it took only three months to do.

(Three Months Ago Inside Black Ring)

Bam!

Saber was sent flying back onto the white wall of the room. He slammed into the wall so hard that he even coughed up a mouthful of blood. Even though he had fused both of his bloodlines, and got many advantages, most of them would only happen after his bloodlines awaken since his stats looked something like this...

It was annoying since he went through all that pain, and the only benefit he got was two abilities that were useless against the android in front of him, and a slight increase in the percentage of his bloodline awakening.

Saber got up and smiled, even though he complained in his mind, he knew that after his bloodline awakening drew close, the skills regeneration and evolution seem to become a lot more intense. Not only has his regeneration increased dramatically, he assumed that even with a limbless body, in but a mere half of a minute, he'll be healed fully and would also not face such intense hunger.

If that wasn't enough, his evolution increased all of his physical abilities every time he recovers from an injury. But, unlike previously when he'll gain only a few tens of power levels higher, now he gains more than a few hundred.

His battle IQ and sword mastery have also increased in the last week while fighting this android who seems to have been holding back quite a lot. This not only surprised the android, but even the mysterious person, causing Saber's damaged ego, to rise once more.

But, unlike the last time his ego had reached this level, he knew that he shouldn't underestimate any of his opponents that h isn't able to completely read. He doesn't want to end up in a foolish situation like with Adrianna where he needs to rely on trickery.

It isn't as if all of his other opponents will be as foolish and arrogant as Adrianna!

Bam!

Saber clashed swords with the android. Though he was still pushed back a little, he was continuously becoming stronger as his swings grew quicker. His sword mastery underwent accelerated growth whenever he trained with the android, as when he rested, his physical limits were extremely enhanced.

As Saber began stabbing and slashing toward his opponent, slowly but surely he felt it! He knew he felt something weird happening, he felt as if something inside of him was awakening. He felt his surroundings beginning to slow down, and the faults which the android pointed out started to become clear even to him.

His sword arts began to improve rapidly, surprising both the android and the mysterious person. This continued for the following two and a half months, Saber seemed to be a different person as he continued to train under the android without even making a sound.

Whenever his bones cracked and joints distressed, he'll robotically push through, forcing his insane regeneration to increase its ability to heal. His eyes had veins bulging around them, and his pupils seemed dilated.

Since androids had infinite stamina depending on who made them, they both continued to spar for hours upon hours, days, and weeks! Slowly, Saber began waking up from his weird and mysterious state, thereafter, he fell unconscious for a week straight.

The last week inside his black ring, Saber awoke from his slumber as he felt slightly different. But, it was only a slight difference, but that was before his master told him to touch a sword.

Saber was at first confused by such a weird request but, he knew if he did not do what his master said, then his master would find a way to damage what little pride he still had, so he followed the request.

As he bent down and placed his hand on the black-colored grip of the metallic sword, Saber instantly felt as if his perception of time had quickened by at least twice or even thrice! Many thoughts began entering his head that mainly focused on sword moves.

He felt as if a whole new world had opened up to him.

"Do you feel it? This is what enlightenment is, this is what happens when someone increases their mastery of something. I hope you are not proud of such a thing though, that's because this is only Sword Mastery at the Basic Level!"

The mysterious person said with a smile on his face. Though Saber was unable to see it, similar to before, he was able to feel the smile on his mater's face. His master then continued with words that sent Saber's pride through the roof.

"Since she had found this black ring a decade ago, she's been training the art of the staff. It took Adrianna ten years to reach such a level of weapon mastery in the arts of the staff. I hope you do not look down on yourself too much, but still, this is simply the basic." He said, not forgetting to lower Saber's pride at the end of his words.

As they were about to continue, Saber watched with a confused expression as his master raised his hand and snapped his fingers. Instantly thereafter, Saber found that his surroundings began spinning around crazily.

As soon as he began feeling upset, he realized that his world changed and he appeared in the outside world. Sitting on top of his bed that he had not been in for more than a year! Next to him, was a black metallic sword and a red scabbard.

On his right thumb, he found a black ring that he immediately placed his energy in, as he hoped to reenter the space. But, unluckily for him, he was unable to! Just as he was about to curse his master, a voice loudly resounded in his ears.

"All Outer Sect disciples who are interested in signing up for the Inner Sect competition, please enter the Elder Hall and register your name. Please remember, do not come if you have no confidence in reaching the top ten, because losers have to pay 1,000 spirit stones!!!"

These words served as a reminder to Saber, as he remembered the true reason why he was training in the arts of the sword in the first place. He let out a smile as he sheathed his sword and placed it on his back as it surprisingly stuck there.

Thereafter, he walked out of his house and headed toward the Elder Hall to pay his rent and sign up for the competition.
