Massacre

With blood smudged around his mouth, Saber found himself surrounded by a dozen sea creatures. The most notable thing being, although they came in different shapes and sizes, they all radiated power no less than Saber's previous opponent!

Seeing these beings who dared surround him even though the power radiating from him was obviously more than theirs, Saber showed a confused expression while he released the fin of the whale shark from his grip. Thereafter, something very surprising happened.

Watching every one of the sea creatures who had him seemingly cornered, Saber opened his mouth and used a little atomic energy as he voiced a question toward the predators who resided in this reasonably big body of water.

"Is it not obvious that I am stronger than you guys, so why are you even trying to fight me? I am unsure of how the rules of sea monsters work, but the strong should be respected while the weak should cower in fear and watch the strong with reverence in their eyes." Saber's voice traveled into the ears of the beasts, even though he was currently floating underwater.

ROAR!!

Though Saber asked nicely, the only response he got from these predators was a roar that resounded throughout the surrounding fifty meters or so. Such actions confused Saber even more as he asked his system to show him his stats, seemingly to make sure that he was as strong as he was currently feeling.

Seeing his stats written on the semi-transparent screen in front of his eyes, Saber nodded his head in agreement and then placed his current situation under the brackets of his opponent's stupidity.

'Well, it seems that a little more food wouldn't hurt!' Saber said in his mind while his stance crouched slightly. His exquisitely defined and lean muscles which were brimming with power contracted, ready to burst with power.

The surrounding sea creatures also began to become noticeably more hostile, their eyes also seeing such changes in Saber's muscles. One must know that Saber was completely naked, so these beasts were able to see the difference in Saber once he entered the stance of a predator.

Swoosh!

Surprising Saber a little, a tiny one-meter size fish zapped across the waters, his long sword-like face cutting through the water with immense speed. Saber though was unhinged by such speed and easily evaded the attack.

But, he did not stop at just evading! No, while the speed of the fish-like creature was immensely quick for its rank of power, one must know that Saber was one whole rank in power higher than these creatures and could technically see them coming toward him in slow motion.

Compared to a Level 3 Cell Evolving creature, these Level twos did not stand a chance against an existence like the current Saber. Especially when it came to a one-on-one situation like now. So, other than simply evading the sudden attack by the fish creature, Saber grabbed its body with immense speed.

Crack!

As he grabbed its body, he used an incredible grip strength and hoped to crush the body of the fish in one go. Right after, the sound of a bone popping resounded as the eyeballs of the fish bulged along with an incredible amount of blood began leaking out from its eyes and nose.

But, before he could continue with his great show of strength. A squid-like sea monster suddenly appeared in front of him, thereafter, a sticky and black liquid was then sprayed onto his body. His skin now contained an ink-black liquid that worked as a sort of acid and began melting his skin.

Ahhhhhh!!

Saber screamed in pain while feeling the pain coming from the melting of his skin. His muscles began to show to the outside world, simultaneously right behind him, a fish with the shape of a soccer ball and spikes protruding out of it appeared as the spikes suddenly shot out of its body and stabbed into the body of Saber.

The most important thing was on the edge of the spikes, a blue liquid was present and began entering the body of Saber. It seemed that it was a poisonous thing since Saber immediately felt lightheaded!

But, only one second after gaining that feeling of lightheadedness, Saber's blurry vision cleared and his strength skyrocketed. His skin instantly healed as he shockingly did not even feel hungry. A smile formed on his face while thinking.

'This must be the doing of the poison physique!!' Yes, it seemed that his poison physique was activated when a poison had entered his system. This caused a reaction where he underwent immense benefits which included instant healing and a power boost!

The smile on his face disappeared though as he couldn't believe weak creatures such as these were able to harm him to such a degree. His arrogance because he was in a realm higher than them almost caused him serious life and death injuries.

Thereafter, a cold light flashed through his eyes as his body disappeared from the dozen or so monsters' view. The monsters were left confused because Saber was just in front of them yet, he now seemed to have disappeared without anyone seeing.

Puchi!!

The sound of something being stabbed was then heard by each creature as they darted their gaze toward a large shark similar in size to the whale shark Saber had previously fought against. The difference between the two was the large and numerous sharp teeth which could be seen.

Hovering over the shark was a Saber whose left hand was rather deep inside of the underbelly of the shark. Yanking his hand out, it came out with a pumping heart that could barely fit in his hand as he crushed it.

"Now, it's you guys' turn to feel pain!" Saber shouted as his body again disappeared from the sea creature's sight. His hand grabbed onto the body of a little one-meter fish who had started this whole thing as he bit off the tail of this beast and then bit into its body with his long canines.

Its death also happened without a second delay as Saber moved on to his next target. And, to be thankful for the little soccer ball with spikes, Saber gave it a quick death without it even realizing how it died as it was sliced by his claw-like nails before it even got any chance to comprehend what happened.

Saber's massacre of the predators of this water continued for a few minutes, before long, every one of these creatures faced death with Saber delivering it to them with a cold and unfeeling expression while blood stained all over his body.

He stood afloat in the waters as he watched his surroundings. Realizing that these waters had nothing interesting for him anymore, he watched up into the seemingly sparkling sun and approached the surface of the waters.

It was time for him to conquer the land. It was time for him to finally begin his journey of adventuring the unknown of this world. He thought that after conquering this world, he'll be able to find out the secrets of his origin thereafter.

Little did he know, this world was merely the beginning of a very long and arduous journey that would be filled with many mysteries.
