Chapter 146: The Dawn of Sun (14)

As Taskmaster, Kraven, and Doctor Octopus injected themselves with a strange serum, their bodies reacted violently, but not in a bad way. They looked stronger, menace even. It was like watching them level up in a video game, but in real life. Their muscles got bigger, their clothes tighter, and their eyes looked like they were ready to take on the world.

Seeing this, I felt a mix of shock and determination. I knew these guys were already tough, but now they were on a whole new level. It was like they'd hit the superhero jackpot.

And It was clear that fighting them was going to be a lot harder than before. But hey, nobody said being a superhero was easy, right?

Before I could wrap my head around the sudden turn of events, Taskmaster, always one to capitalize on chaos, couldn't resist the chance to taunt me.

Taskmaster's smirk widened as he taunted, "Now, Hero, do you think you can beat us?"

I couldn't help but return the smirk. "Well, you might cause me a little trouble with your serum, but nah, I would Win!" I shot back confidently.

Doctor Octopus's voice echoed with menace, "Is that so!!! Then take these!!!" as his tentacles surged forward, aimed directly at me.

[I Have to tapped into my berserker mode, realizing I couldn't afford to save it as a last resort any longer. These three were juiced up on some kind of enhancer, and facing them together was impossible without leveling up.]

"I can't beat all three of them at once," I thought, "but one-on-one, I could take them down."

With that realization, I quickly commanded the Spider-Man System to activate the berserker mode. "Berserker," I muttered under my breath, feeling the surge of power coursing through my body.

This was like a classic showdown, good versus evil, and Im not going to lose because victory was going to be mine!!!!

Harnessing the sudden surge of strength and agility from the berserker mode, I quickly grabbed onto the tentacles before they could wrap around me. Then, with all my might, I threw Doctor Octopus away, watching as he soared through the air, propelled by the force of my throw.

The sight left Taskmaster and Kraven visibly stunned, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief. It was clear that they hadn't anticipated facing such formidable resistance.

Taskmaster's eyes widened in disbelief, while Kraven seemed impressed but undeterred. Taskmaster stammered, "How can you have so much strength when we've already become so much stronger?"

I couldn't resist a smug grin. "I told you, didn't I?... I win!"

Kraven's gravelly voice cut through the chaos, his words dripping with confidence, "Good, good, good!!!" With a primal roar, he launched himself towards me, brandishing his spear and knife with deadly intent.

As Kraven charged at me, weapons in hand, I couldn't help but wonder how he managed to carry all those weapons without weighing himself down. Did they just pop out of nowhere? It was like watching a magician pull endless scarves from a hat. But in the heat of the moment, pondering the logistics of his arsenal would have to wait.

......

[Mark Side]

As the tension reached its peak and the impending battle loomed, Mark surveyed the chaotic scene unfolding around them. Seeing the innocent bystanders caught in the turmoil, Mark knew he had to act quickly.

"Chameleon, hold off on the fight for now. I know you love Grand Show or Story but There's something I need to address," Mark declared, his voice cutting through the tension.

Impatience flickered across Chameleon's face as he eagerly anticipated the clash. "What's the hold-up? Make it quick before I lose my patience," he demanded, his eagerness palpable.

Then Mark's gaze softened as he looked at Emily, his partner in both life and heroics. Amidst the chaos surrounding them, he felt a surge of protectiveness towards her. "Babe, I need you to focus on rescuing and protecting the civilian. I'll handle Chameleon."

Emily's brow furrowed with concern as she assessed the situation. "But babe, Chameleon is no pushover. Are you sure you can handle him alone?"

Mark's expression hardened with resolve, meeting Emily's gaze with unwavering confidence. "Don't worry," he assured her firmly. "I will win," he declared, his words carrying the weight of conviction as he prepared to face their formidable adversary.

Chameleon, concealed nearby, couldn't resist taunting them with his sly remarks. "Overconfident, Nightwing? You're about to find out just how outmatched you really are."

Mark retorted confidently, "Well, I'm not overconfident; it's just a fact. After all, this story will revolve around you and me!"

Chameleon chuckled darkly, his voice dripping with malice. " You may think so, but in this narrative, you'll play the role of the villain, while I am the main character."

Mark shook his head, denying Chameleon's assertion. "No, no, no. You've got it all wrong. You are the villain, and I'm the protagonist of our story, Chameleon," he insisted, his conviction unwavering.

Annoyance flickered across Chameleon's face as he realized Mark wasn't backing down. "You're more stubborn than I thought, Nightwing. But mark my words, you'll regret crossing me."

Then Mark Ignored his words and shared a silent exchange with Emily, a mixture of determination and reassurance passing between them.

With a nod from Mark, Emily braced herself to fulfill her part of the plan. "Be careful Babe and I'm counting on you," she whispered before darting off towards the endangered civilian.

Mark watched her go, his heart swelling with pride and affection. "Be careful too, Emily," he murmured, his voice laced with concern.

Turning his attention back to Chameleon, Mark squared his shoulders and prepared to face his adversary head-on. "It's just you and me now, Chameleon. Let's settle this once and for all." With unwavering resolve, he charged into Chameleon, ready to fight for justice and protect those he cared about. And to ensure the safety of the civilians caught in the crossfire.

Chameleon's taunt cut through the tension like a knife, his words dripping with arrogance and challenge. "Bring it on, Nightwing!" he sneered, his voice laced with confidence and a hint of arrogance.

 .......

[Reed side]

Meanwhile, in the midst of the chaos, with New York City trembling under the looming threat of Dr. Doom, the banter between Reed Richards and Victor von Doom continued, laced with tension and frustration.

Reed, catching his breath, acknowledged the undeniable power of Doom's creation, "Okay, okay, I admit, you've become strong with that Orbit Thingy of yours."

But Doom, never one to miss an opportunity for superiority, corrected him sharply, "It's not just 'some Orbit thingy,' Reed. It's the Orbit Sun."

Reed, ever the provocateur, couldn't resist a jab, "Yeah, right. I know. I'm just messing with you."

Doom's retort was swift and biting, "Well, screw you, Reed."

Unwilling to back down, Reed shot back, "Fine, screw you too."

Doom, escalating the verbal sparring, declared, "Screw you double, double!"

Watching the exchange with a mix of exasperation and resignation, Susan Storm Richards, the Invisible Woman, sighed at the predictable back-and-forth.

Then Dr. Doom's words echoed through the air, heavy with a sense of impending doom. "You know what? I should finish you all here!" he declared, his voice dripping with arrogance and determination. It was clear that he believed himself to be unbeatable, his confidence is unshakeable.

With chilling determination, he began to draw upon the power of the Orbit Sun, its radiant glow enveloping him. Then The air crackled with energy as he absorbed its formidable power, each moment bringing him closer to the pinnacle of his strength.

Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, voiced the collective concern, "Not good, guys. Not good."

Ben Grimm aka The Thing cut to the chase "He's absorbing the power of the Orbit."

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Reed urged his team into action, "Fantastic Four, stop him!"

But their attempts to approach Doom were met with a force they hadn't anticipated, as shockwaves sent them flying in all directions. As the dust settled, they saw Doom transformed, bathed in an otherworldly light, his presence almost divine. It was as if he had become something more than human, an entity of pure energy and power.

"Are you kidding me?" Johnny exclaimed, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Reed's expression hardened with grim realization. "He's fused with the Orbit Sun. He's more dangerous now than ever."

The Fantastic Four realized they were up against a completely new level of threat. Dr. Doom had become something beyond their previous battles, a force of unimaginable power and evil. With steely resolve, they prepared for the fight of their lives against this transformed enemy.

Dr. Doom menacingly declared, "You've all made a grave mistake!" before quickly advancing towards them.

Dr. Doom's sudden appearance next to Johnny startled everyone. "I should first start with you, fire boy!" Doom's voice was dripping with malice as he unleashed a blast of energy from his palm, targeting the confused Human Torch. Johnny had little time to respond before the powerful blast slammed into him, throwing him backwards with a cry of pain.

"Johnny!" Susan's voice trembled with concern as she watched her brother flung away by the force of Doom's attack, her heart sinking with each passing moment of his agony.

Doom shifted his focus to Susan, his gaze locking onto her invisible form with eerie precision. Susan felt a cold shiver run down her spine as she realized she was no longer hidden from his sight. The sudden revelation of her vulnerability left her stunned, struggling to grasp the full extent of Doom's newfound powers.

"Found you, Invisible Woman," Doom's voice echoed with sinister triumph as he locked onto his target, his energy charged palm poised to strike.

Just as Doom was about to unleash his attack on Susan, Reed, desperate to protect her, threw himself forward. He screamed out in anguish as he realized it was futile. Doom's energy blast tore through Reed's attempt to shield Susan, hitting him with unstoppable force.

"No!" Reed's voice cracked with anguish as he witnessed the futility of his actions, his body propelled backward by the force of Doom's attack.

In the midst of the chaos, the Thing, known for his unwavering bravery, positioned himself between Susan and Doom's deadly attack. When Doom unleashed his blast, it crashed into the Thing, knocking him back with tremendous force. Despite the impact, the Thing stood firm, his tough exterior absorbing the full brunt of the assault.

Dr. Doom's shock at the Thing's durability quickly turned into a sinister resolve. "Interesting," he murmured, his tone now filled with a chilling admiration for his adversary's toughness. But rather than being deterred by the Thing's resilience, Doom prepared for another attack. "How about another one, huh?" he sneered, his voice dripping with malice as he reveled in the impending clash.

Despite the overwhelming odds, the Thing remained fearless and resolute. "Bring it on, bitch!" he challenged Doom, his words echoing with determination amidst the chaos.

Doom fired another powerful blast at the Thing, aiming to overwhelm his resilient defenses. But just as the lethal energy surged forward, an unexpected turn of events unfolded.

Suddenly, a brightly colored figure swung into view, wearing a red and blue suit with a spider symbol on its chest. It was Spider-Man Red, moving with incredible speed and accuracy. His arrival brought a sense of relief in the midst of Doom's attack, offering hope to those facing the villain's wrath.

When Spider-Man Red swooped in using a lot of web to block Doom's attack that aimed at the Thing, Doom's face twisted in a blend of anger and realization. "Red!" he spat, his tone laced with disdain. He understood that his attack had hit a snag with the sudden appearance of this unexpected ally.

Can Spider-Man Red and the Fantastic Four defeat Dr. Doom, or will he continue his reign of terror? The answers lie in the next chapter, where alliances will be tested, sacrifices will be made, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance. So stay tuned, dear readers, for the thrilling continuation of this epic saga.
