life is like a game of chess

Outside of the Kingdom of Pherenth where two people sitting down at a table eating sweets and drinking tea talking with one or another.

"I sure do miss Loren Melanie." a young girl said sighing and drinking from the cup.

"I know that you would be missing him Lucile the two of you were close." Melanie said while eating a sweet.

"Of course I would be this way because Loren was a good brother towards me the other two of my brother's don't want nothing to do with me."

"Oh come now Lucile, I am sure Clark and Cesar have love for you even if they may not show it."

Melanie says this to leave up her spirits as Lucile was like a daughter thanks to the time of the passing years the two had spent together.

"You may be right Melanie, you know, I always think of you like a second mother even regless to what my mother says about you."

"Your mother still has a disliking toward me even after all the years that have passed. I truly wish that woman could just let it go as I did hope by the times."

"I am sorry it's just mother she has been this only because of you and…. Father has done behind her. Not that I am saying that it is both your faults, I can somewhat understand things like this commonly happens and the two of you love each other."

Lucile says hoping that Melanie hasn't taken any offers to what comes out of her mouth.

Melanie smiled enjoying how the girl was acting, but behind the smile of that woman was pity for her as well.

She knows the truth about Lucile being created by not her father, the king of this kingdom, but by another man the queen has secretly been seeing behind the king's back.

Melanie caught them one time being friendly with one of another lucky woman was able to not be seen; it surely would have brought more hardsharp to her, Loren and the baby in her belly.

Telling the king about his wife cheating on him would be the better thing to do, but she felt it would not be her place to do as what Melanie and the king had done was no different much.

"Yes me and your father do love each other as it shows by the baby in me, but it never was planned to happen more like we allow ."

Melanie said, placing one hand on the stomach rubbing it.

"Do you hope for a boy or a girl Melanie." Lucile asked with excitement.

"Well I do not mind if the baby is another boy yet I would love for it to be a girl."

"I hope the baby is a girl too, I can imagine the fun it would be to have a little sister to share so many interesting things instead of my brothers."

The two of them laugh together after that yet at the same thing Melanie thinks of Loren, her boy wondering what the boy is doing over at the kingdom of Raista.

Soon worries began to rise within her as she remembered the day he was leaving telling Loren about her family as the boy also had the blood ruin in him as well.

The dead blood of the Necros people Melanie did plan to keep it a secret to where it would be taken to grave when the day comes of her passing.

Sadly a secret like that couldn't be hidden from Loren till the end, he was smart and would in good time discover her people because the boy was born with the gift.

Melanie may not have been born with it yet the woman did have the ability to sense the dead power of Necromancy like those of other births, an outcast of the none gifted.

The day Loren was born imminently she could sense it in him small to where grow stronger during his time.

This was not a thing she couldn't have unnoticed or pay a blind eye to like a fool.

Telling her son is what Melanie must have done and now leaves it in his own hands to make whatever choice with it or Loren had already made up his mind long before being told.

She believes that more when looking at her boy eyes and only now is to wait for the future.

Cesar finishes telling all that he knows to his mother and brother the two of them were caught by a great surprise to how well he knew Loren.

"Brother could it be that you and Loren have hiddenly been getting to know one of another behind our backs."

"Not really Clark, I just been more skilled at keeping a nicely close eye on him."

He told his twin brother, but that was just a lie to cover over the truth that was more interesting.

On top of the outside castle walls Cesar there standing only where no guard to be seen patrolling.

He stares calmly at the night clear sky enjoying the nice breath that blows pass him.

"Isn't this night one of loveliness my dear half-brother Loren." Cesar said looking at Loren walking towards him.

"Indeed my half-brother Cesar, I always found the nights pleasing to me as it helps one think over things clearly to gain an answer for."

"I can share that understanding feeling with Loren, but that is not what you wish for us to be talking about. It is more about the reason why you were called upon by me as that is it."

Cesar looks at Loren smiling at him like he could read his mind and he shows no expression to give it away.

"That is right to be truthful, I was caught by a bit of shock receiving the letter of yours asking to meet alone in secret away from the others."

"Yes I wanted to discuss certain matters with you, but first I have made clear in my letter sent to you that it should be us two alone no more than that yet there is another set of eyes I feel is near."

"Sorry there is someone who does wish to leave my side and more so that meeting you brother will may as well be a trap."

Loren speak about Angelina the demon half-breed girl who has grow closely attach to him, she was hiding in the shadows to act if anything was

"Oh do you not trust me Loren thinking that I may act like my mother and brother."

"No not really, I don't think it your taste to kill me behind my back, but that doesn't mean that you are someone I should not keep my guard of awareness from."

"Loren you flatter me with words of kindness, I had no idea you could speak such."

Loren rolled his eyes and walked to stand beside Cesar.

"Please do not try to raise your own ego as it does not match your character."

"No indeed it does not something like that is for our brother Clark, he ego is bigger than mine and will grow until it has burned out, you know what I mean my dear brother Loren."

Cesar asked, looking to see him still facing forward not wanting to do the same.

"You know don't you Cesar on what I plan and what I have been doing around here."

"Did you really think I wouldn't be the one to find out about those secret meetings you've been having with that Elf friend of the old sage. I was caught off guard that he knew necromancy, those types of elves don't pay with such magic it more of a dark elves kind of thing."

After Cesar finished speaking soon Loren laughed and that made him wonder what the reason for it was.

"I knew that you were keeping a close eye on me from the beginning allowing it to go on as long as it needed to be for fun. The only thing that I do not know is what is causing you not to speak this out in the open."

"Who was I kidding of course you would know and the reason that I haven't given you up only because what the point to bring a quick end to this game of chess that we are to play."

"To me is more like story of ours going on and being told in the shadows of those who want to read it

Cesar was this time laughing please at what Loren had said.

"But a game is not bad as well to make out in this world every living being is a chess piece moved by its own will or by another something far more powerful."

"I am pleased that we share a common intelligents Loren makes things more entertaining while living life."

"That is right it does, so as the chess piece you make no desire to make a move against me now. I take it that the move is being well planned for the future."

"It is, I have my own plans that I bet you have no clue what it could be."

Cesar smiles thinking that he is one step ahead of him yet getting a good look at Loren's face he is also smiling with eyes closed.

"Oh you do know and I am acting as a fool better work on my game nonetheless nothing would be said of you as things would go on as there were until time has come."

"I do not understand you brother there is no sighs about my aim in taking your brother, mother and father life why is that."

His half-brother didn't answer back quickly, just kept his mouth for a minute then opened it.

"My feelings do not seek to move at something that couldn't be stopped or I simply do not care. Their life is on its own and mine well, I will do anything to prevent you from taking it."

"And I would do any to take it." Loren responded back as the two looked at each other smiling.

Cesar makes a move, offers a hand towards Loren, he stares at the hand for about a moment then grabs it as the two shake hands.

"May the best son of King Vernon be the one to be standing last."

Queen Luann spoke as it brings Cesar out of the dream of the past and back to reality.

"I take it that begins when you deport on your trip to talk with the rest of the family."

"Yes with their help the plan will move softly and with no risks." she said smiling

Cesar said nothing with any interest to give voice of aid to this and when there was none more discussion needed.

The two twin brothers took leave out of their mother room where one left by its own way and the same for the other.

"Brother Loren, I can not wait to see how greatly your army of dead will be and the amazing fun, I will have using my own dark power against that army."
