Baal, the main chapel of the Blood Angels...
"Certainly great custodian, follow me." said the Chapter Master of the Blood Angels as he motioned for Constantin who just disembarked from the golden custodian starship to follow him.
"I have been notified of your great arrival. May I ask on what are your purpose of coming here?" asked the Chapter Master as they passed halls after halls full of effigies of angels on their way to the tomb.
"I've been sent here by the Emperor himself to check on the state of his son's carcass." said Constantin Valdor with an emotionless voice.
"I see, then he must have plans on reviving our great primarch." said the Chapter Master in a low voice as they stopped on the door to the tomb. His statement didn't escaped the ears of Constantin. But Constantin didn't minded it the very least as he's not sent here to gossip.
The Chapter Master opened the door to the tomb as stairs started to unfold itself revealing the passage way towards the main room where the body of the great angelic primarch was being held.
The group slowly made their way to the depths of the tomb as it slowly lighted up with each step they took. Hours later, they finally arrived on the room where the body of the primarch was held.
The golden custodian just looked at it and observed it for any decay as everything must be reported to his liege back in Holy Terra with the utmost of details.
"I see... Thank you for leading me here." thanked Constantin Valdor after hours of him. observing and documenting stuff regarding the state of the body of the primarch.
He immediately rushed back to his starship and flew back to Holy Terra to report his findings to his liege, the Emperor.

Naboo...
The war has came to a dangerous stalemate and a war of attrition. The Imperium can't charge out of their trenches as it will be too costly. Likewise for the Empire, breaking out of this encirclement would be impossible with tens of millions of casualties which would be unacceptable. Emperor Palpatine already pardoned him on that costly landing actions a couple of days ago.
Sounds of artillery fire sounded day in day out with no rest for both sides. The Imperial stronghold has been locked down on a massive trench system which an edgy man with a breather on a black cloak called as "ineffective".
The man was of course Darth Vader, he's currently strolling the Imperial stronghold as they've been trying to expand the stronghold on all directions but they're stopped and contained.
The Imperial TIE fighters gained almost absolute air superiority. They can't achieve absolute superiority as the enemy always had a new anti air everytime they destroy one.
Luckily for them though, they've achieved uncontested space superiority without much hardship. Darth Vader was casually strolling the halls of the repurposed building.
It has come to his attention that the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Navy has failed on his attack and the place where the current fleet of Darth Vader is currently in danger of an Imperium counterattack.
It's still been a mystery for the Empire on how can the Imperium evade their hyperlane monitoring equipments so flawlessly. Proposals was brought up that they either have a much more advanced hyperdrive modules or they don't use the hyperlanes at all.
As Vader was walking he fixed his eyes on the distance where the supposed command center of the enemy was located due to its look and design.
"Hmmm, such a shame... I've held them at high regards for being able to capitulate Coruscant in less than a day. But from the looks of it, it's only the main fleets can do that." said Vader with his raspy voice which sounded like he's speaking on a vents with an electric fan, creating this weird mechanical echoing sound.
"How can we not take over this planet? They may be using some weird weaponry much more powerful than us, but they're clearly using it wrong. Trench warfare? This is not the time of antiquity." said Vader in anger to the surrounding officers and staff as some of the officers following him shivered in fear
"We'll take this planet one way or another!"

Holy Terra...
The starship of the custodians gently landed on the planet as Constantin immediately went out to seek the Emperor to report his findings to him in full detail.
The Emperor was currently on his laboratory near the Hall of Leng doing all sorts of ways to try and enter that space once more.
This is his topmost priority as this not only concerns his safety but also the safety of the whole humanity as a being that can destroy his memories without him noticing will surely be immensely powerful.
He didn't personally lead the Great Crusade as he didn't need to in the first place. His son Vulkan was preparing to join the Great Crusade but was instead reduced to coordinator and a supreme commander.
He tried to find how to enter that dimension or space once more. He's been doing this ever since they returned from Mars. He needs to learn how to go back to that space and gather evidences.
The Emperor was sitting on a golden throne trying all sorts of things to try and return to that library. He tried doing the same thing he did back on Mars such as scattering the psychic energy and cycling it all throughout body and having it exit on all parts of his body at the same time. That failed miserably as the surrounding experienced a psychic blast.
The Emperor sensed Constantin as he stopped his experiments and stood up from the throne to approach him.
"My liege, I have came back from the assignment! The current state of Sanguinius's body is..." Constantin started to narrate his observations and findings to the Emperor which just listened attentively.
"As I have predicted, it looks like reviving him won't be that simple..." said the Emperor as he thought that his original estimate of a couple billions wouldn't be enough to fully revive his son Sanguinius.
The Emperor used his power and in the blink of an eye, a golden glow was seen and the Emperor is now wearing his golden armor instead of the laboratory coat.
"Find Vulkan and Roboute, we may need to kill billions to revive their brother." ordered the Emperor to Constantin which immediately complied.
The Emperor slowly walked to the edge of the place and leaned on the railings as he overlooked the horizon.
"A bloodbath, lives of billions or trillions of being for the life of Sanguinius..."
