Chapter 47: Dragon King's Movements

I trained my daughter, Igraine in such a somewhat really orthodox and conventionally way that it was really shocking for other people, after all, just a few days or weeks ago, I just said that my mom threw me out of the Forest of Death to train me, so its normal to feel astonished, even my wives are quite stunned when they saw me teaching her like a teacher will do to a student.

Well first of all, Igraine can level the forest of death flat just by running, so why would I even do that? That's just wasting and destroying one of our precious military facilities, so nope, I refuse to make her train there even if its necessary.

Second, as you all people know, she trained from a nation that formerly reigned as the greatest human Kingdom and her mother is a former princess of that country, meaning that even though Guinevere lacks mastery of weapons atleast she have the books or scrolls that the way of the Knights of the Roundtable train and other stuff, though Igraine seem to scratch the chivalric code out of the window, but in any case, she doesn't need any kind of training in Swordmanship because she already have a good amount of mastery towards that, thus making my interference with her physical training not really needed.

Also reducing the chances of my peculiar training methods to appear.

And in regards of magic, one should really have to learn it by the book, as an example, I learned magic at school and at home by the same method, classroom classes and practicals, don't just use some bullshit knowledge from novels that a hermit that is good in magic will beat the shit out of you and then suddenly, he will ask you to throw an egg to a rock but the egg is not allowed to break.

That's just stupid.

Anyway, I strictly used all my time and attention to my daughter's training after all, I can calculate that a few months later I will not be able to have time for her anymore and even though she can understand why, of course being able to understand and being able to accept are two different things, so I will just make the most out of this small free time that I have after I saved Idun.

And so, with that, Three months have already passed.

Igraine already improved a lot, though I can confirm that she naturally suck in controlling her magic, maybe because it is so powerful to begin with, thus having a harder procedure in bottling up. But hey, she can now make a very crooked circle out of her void power, it is not very much commendable if you think about it, but hey, progress, that's a progress nonetheless.

She still didn't fully comprehended the teleportation like ability of her bloodline magic though, but I am not really that frantic about her learning it. I mean, it will help my plans and future endeavors to quickly come to fruit but because she's my daughter, I would act bias and will not pressure her too much about the matter.

Anyway, of course I just didn't focused on Igraine all this while, I also observed my subordinate's training, after all, they are also my precious fighting force so I have to pay attention to them even though I prioritized my daughter and forgot about them most of the time.

Good thing they are on  the right track.

Vega, already have a decent amount of proficiency in martial arts, which is to be expected because knife handling is kind of like a martial arts, like how some hand to hand martial arts can be applied to spear techniques.

It's like that, and it seems like Vega also takes ninjutsu lessons from Ophiuchus, but the progress is yet to show because of how difficult it is to learn a spell from that branch of magic.

Moving past to Altair, she is also making progresses, she discovered that she is proficient with Wind Magic. People have proficiencies in their birth, for example I, except for my Bloodline magic is proficient in fire element, my sister in water.  This proficiency will be the first element they will learn and train and along the process, if they so desired, they can also train to the other elements and sub branches of magic.

Though of course it will be harder for them to do so, going back, Altair have the proficiency in the most destructive element of them all, and I cannot help but to really feel like she is destined to be a destroyer. First a strenght that can match me, second a great sword that upgrades her power to a great extent and now the element that is hailed as the most disastrous is favoring her, I wonder if she will have the ability to turn into a giant in the future, that would really be funny.

Anyway, even though she have a good proficiency, her control is shit, if Igraine just suck then her control is outright garbage, but good thing its Virgo who is giving her lessons so she is making progresses ever so slowly, who knows what will happen if I am the one who instructed her.

All in all, I am really excited about the progress of this two and I am looking forward to them showing me why did I choose them as my two new subordinates through their results.

Oh yeah, speaking about my plans and endeavors, one of the Rulers also made his move, so there are two that is already openly moving around right after I (un) officially broke their idiot rule.

The other one, is of course you all already know is my best friend(LOL) Lucifer and the other one is quite unexpected, it is the Dragon King. People of the Seven Rulers really didn't expected for him to show up this early, they thought that he will just act as some kind of mediator or some shit. But who would have thought that he will make a move now...

Of course because of the stupidly oversized heights and length of the dragons, it was given that they cannot enter any city, and thus they can only fly and see the general situation of things. Furthermore, because of Oroboros' (the Dragon King) personality, upon seeing a dragon slayer, the scouts of his will not descend to the land and wreck havoc on the surface and the scout that spotted the target will have to report to him first. Of course, normally that's how usually a scout should be, first they have to report the intel they gathered before doing anything rash.

However, dragons are different and as their name implies, they are prideful maybe will not lose out to the pride of Leon, if anything their pride is even greater than him and every single one of them have strong superiority complex and didn't know their boundaries, so if the said boundaries are not detailedly explained in front of them, they will do whatever they want.

If the Dragon King didn't explained this to them, he will make a good embarrassment out of his whole race, I mean the Dragons may be the strongest race and that caused them to be unbearably arrogant, but there are exactly six people on the surface that can slap them dead without any kind of effort whatsoever, so if they wrecked havoc in the surface, who knows what will happen to them.

Oroboros naturally doesn't want this to happen so I am pretty confident that those flying lizards will not do anything to my nation.

The "scouts" of the King of the Dragons are of course not the conventional Dragons that reaches hundred of meters, the one fluttering in the skies for the past days are those smaller and weaker ones, they have wings that is directly connected to their hands and have black and purple combination of their fur and a bat ear in their head, of course they can echolocate their way in the night and they are called wyverns.

They are just really fluttering about and not doing anything other than some screeches at night that seem to be reports.

Anyway, those are the happenings in the past three months, it happened actually the moment Sigurd the Dragon Slayer appeared in Camelot, though at first its just one or two wyverns and just this month did it reached a full scale search.
