CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Surprisingly, everyone left me alone for the most part. A few kids walked up to me, but their parents dragged them back. I dangled my feet over the ledge. Ouch, the headache was getting worse, and my hand was hotter than the bricks, which had been baking in the sun for the entire day. My head was now throbbing like a ticking time bomb, but there was another thing - my divine power was growing so much that I could feel it in my entire arm, not just my hand.
AH, I was probably awakening. Cordelia had gone through something similar when Bog had first appeared in her head. After that, the speck of divine power she formerly had became an almost infinite ocean. Like I said, when she met Zal, she could heal a small nation at the age of ten. Ughhhhh, but why these side effects? It's like a double-edged sword! I groaned and rested my head on the tree behind me. And then it peaked. Divine power is like a wave. Cordelia had left it too - and at the time she said she felt like someone had dumped her in front of a raging tsunami - and I have to agree with that statement. It felt like I was drowning. My eyes slowly closed, as a voice called, hello, darling~! How are you today?
Oh, that was Bog.
