Ch 12 Sharing happiness

Madeleine 

I was very happy. Everything felt nice. I wanted to share my happiness with Amy. I ran to my room. I bursted into my room but Amy wasn't there. 

"I have gone crazy. Why would she be here?" I muttered to myself.

I turned around to go out but Amy was just behind me and our foreheads crashed .

" Ouch...." We both moaned in pian.

She saw me and made a face. 

" Why are you smiling princess? Our foreheads just crashed and ....

Mother Mary,You must have hit your head hard." She said.

" I am alright. I am smiling because I am so happy. I feel like I might burst if I didn't share it with anyone. " I said while twirling. 

" Really,then tell me, what are you waiting for?"She said while smiling broadly.

I came to a stop and grabbed her shoulders,

" I am in love." I shouted. 

" WHAT..." She shouted loudly and her jaw dropped on ground.

" Close your mouth otherwise you will swallow a fly." I said.

She opened her mouth and closed it again. She was gaping at me like a fish. She was really shocked. Wasn't she happy? 

" Aren't you happy for me ? " I said in a low voice. 

My all excitement faded. She shaked her head in a no and then yes.She was confused. 

"I am...I am shocked princess." She said.

My heart dropped. I said in a sad voice,' Are you disappointed?" 

" No, I am happy." She said while smiling. 

She was smiling forcefully. She said that to make me happy. I thought she would dance and would bounce around me in happiness. She would ask me questions. But, she was not happy. 

Tears filled my vision.Clouds of sorrow encircled my heart once filled from joy of my new love.

Amy grabbed my hand and said," Princess, to tell you the truth I really didn't imagine this. You....You in a relationship.....I guess you are at that age now.....But, never even think that I am not happy. I am always happy for you. I am always with you.....It's just..." 

" Just..." I looked at her and she was somewhere in her head. 

She looked at me and said," It's just it was always princess, me and nanny. I never thought our princess will find her love." 

Tears filled her vision. She was right. I never thought it myself. But, as the saying goes you can't control who you love.

She hugged me and I hugged her back. 

" Tell me who is he? " She asked.

Excitement mirrored her voice. Amy I knew was back. Everything was back into its place. Everything was just right . I didn't want anything else. 

" Tell me already." She said . 

She was curious . I got up and went to balcony. Chilly Winds were blowing. I looked into the dark sky. Moon was up in the sky spreading its light. 

Amy came behind me and asked ," Is he handsome and Is he like the guys in your novels?" 

I smiled to myself and said," Yeah, he is the most handsome guy I have ever seen." 

" And..." 

" He is playful, sometimes serious. He is always worried for me, I never knew why?....He is almost magical. Something forbidden in me wakes up everytime with his mere touch...." 

" And...." 

" And....."I was going to say something but she interrupted and said,

" And.." 

I looked at her she was lost in her head living through my story. I waved a hand in front of her face but she didn't respond. she was lost in her head. I shaked my head and went inside.
