I am Rimuru Tempest(Old Version. Rewrite is out.)

The first few chapters are a bit rough since I wasn't sure what I wanted the story to be like. And the story is a bit rushed until chapter 20-25ish since I wanted to get to the point after the kids get their spirits. After that, the story breaks from canon and slows down the pacing. Hopefully, you will give the story a chance. The joke at the beginning with sage is not indicative of how the story will progress, I just thought it would be funny at the time. ... You already know how it is. Someone gets reincarnated as Rimuru and decides that he wants to have a new life with a kingdom, a harem, and strong skills. I am a first-time writer so if you have any tips let me know. It's obvious but I don't own tensura nor its characters and the picture for the fanfic is not my art. If you are the artist of it let me know and I'll change it or add your name I just found the pic on google and wasn't sure who the artist was. I'll try to update regularly but I do have a full-time job so I probably can't do it daily.

Venus and Moon.

<<Team B ready.>>

<<Team A ready>>

<<Team C ready>>

The shadow squad was currently in position and they were prepared to attack. From the shadows, they were looking at the enemies, and they were just about to enter into their trap. They all created threads simultaneously which would instantly kill the majority of the army in this sector.

<<Go>> Soeui commanded.

Instantly hundreds of threads were created and they all moved to slice the army. However, Venus had spotted the reflection of a thread just before it got to her she activated her skill. She had been on guard since she had felt danger all around her since the moment she walked in.

"Lock!" She yelled out.

And instantly all threads stopped in place. Her unique skill Lock was able to lock non-organic items in their location. At first, she was only able to stop one singular item at a time. But as she became more familiar with her skill she was able to lock any number of items as long as they were made of the same general material. Yet she still had the limitation of only one lock at a time.

Her army was also on guard so when they heard their commander yell out they all got in defensive stances. The ones that had spotted the threads jumped out of the way, yet not all were so lucky or quick on their feet.

Souei teleported behind her after she had jumped out of the way and was about to stab her through the heart. Yet the moment she felt the blade on her skin she instinctively activated Lock on the blade behind her. Leaving all of those who had not moved out of the way to be sliced and killed by the threads.

She pulled out her rapier and in a swift motion, she stabbed behind her. Yet her blade didn't pierce anything. Only a floating blade was left suspended in the air.

She heard the sounds of part of her army being killed and rage filled her heart. Yet she didn't have the freedom to concentrate on her allies. As more threads began to form around her.

The moment she locked the threads she jumped to the side just in time to dodge a draconic arm that had tried to stab her. Yet before she could take a proper look at her attacker it had vanished once again. If it wasn't for her skill letting her feel any material she could lock around her when it was active she would have never noticed the presence of the attacker.

"Show yourself, you damned coward!" she yelled to try to get them to come out, yet her shouts were in vain.

She was constantly harassed by threads in all directions and by people jumping from the shadows to kill her. Without a moment of rest, she had already burned through half of her magicules. She knew she wouldn't be able to fight for much longer. Yet there wasn't much she could do but struggle.

The very next moment many people jumped from the shadows at the same time with blades ready to stab her. She had no choice but to lock the metal of the blades, locking all the weapons they held in one spot. But the very next moment she knew she was screwed. She felt someone approaching her from her back. The attacker wasn't holding any weapons nor any metal objects. She could try to lock the clothing of the attacker but there were many blades that had been launched all around her, so the moment she switched the lock she would be stabbed not by one person but by the many weapons.

She tried to take her chances dodging the blow but the attacker suddenly sped up and before she knew it the draconic hand pierced through her chest. Breaking the concentration she held on the lock and making her be struck by the thrown weapons, killing her on the spot. Without even knowing the face of the one who had killed her.

<<Souei, the priority target has been eliminated.>> Souka said through mental communication.

<<Remainder of the army in our sector has been eliminated. Let's proceed to stop the rest of the armies without a priority target>>

<<Understood.>>

"Kufufufufufufufufu" Diablo began to laugh, mocking the one in front of him.

"You fucking demon, don't you know who I am? I am the strongest of the Luminaries. I am the sun-blade, Moon. I am the worst enemy for demons like you!"

Moon activated his unique skill Ra. It allowed him to have absolute control over fire. Not only was he able to create a flame, but he was able to create a spirit magic flame with a perfect combination of fire and light spirit magic. He was the best at fighting demons among the Luminaries. His flames also held the power to purify, allowing him to truly kill a demon without a problem.

Coating his legendary-grade blade with holy flames and filling it to the brim with the light attribute he swung down on the demon in front of him. The first time he had attacked he had only used a small portion of his power since he was only planning to destroy a building. But now he was going to kill the demon with one slash.

"Kufufuufufufufu" Diablo laughed as he reached out his hand once again.

A smirk appeared on Moon's face. The stupid demon wasn't smart enough to even recognize he should try to dodge.

But Diablo caught the blade once again.

"How boring, I thought if I gave you another chance you would try something better than what you did last time."

And closing the hand he had used to catch the blade he broke the sword apart.

"Wha-"

Yet Moon didn't have time to speak as he felt the demon grab onto his neck and lift him in the air, feeling all strength leave his body. The very next moment the world around him turned red. And the crimson world stopped moving. The world went completely quiet.

"While I may be glad that your people have allowed me to see my lord fight. I cannot forgive what you have done.

I have lived since the world was first created, yet I have never seen such a big sin being committed. No demon in existence would be foolish enough to sin in such magnitude.

You have sinned against my lord by trying of harming the city he built and loves"

Moon tried to move his body to attack yet it was useless. He felt as if he was a puppet whose strings had been cut. Moon had reached Saint status in his life, yet all the strength that he had built was gone.

He had somehow lost his capability to use his skills. Absolute fear appeared in his heart at this very moment.

"I fear my punishment will not be enough for the sin you have committed. But I will try my best."

A cruel smile appeared on Diablo's face before he began his "Punishment" on Moon and his army.

*Clap clap clap clap*

"Congratulations Granbell"

Granbell and his army looked in my direction at the sound of me clapping my hands.

"You have created a new kind of stupid."

Granbell and all of the people around him launched to attack me at the same time.

Granbell tried to use a skill similar to my debilitate yet it was completely disabled before he was even able to launch it. He might have had a long time to understand how to use his Sariel, lord of hope skill. But when compared to Raphael he hadn't scratched the surface of how souls worked.

Razul appeared in front of me as he launched a punch with all of his strength only to be caught by me.

"A damage you can never undo type of stupid."

"Mercury what are you doing?!? You have to act now!" Granbell yelled out an order.

"I- I- I can't- I can't remember how to cast magic." Mercury said with a trembling voice. The lifetime she had spent researching magic was all gone. Taken by the skill Plunderer.

"Clearly, you didn't think this through, kind of stupid."

I should be uploading another chapter today. This one is a bit shorter at 1.3k words but since it was a good place to end I stopped it there. See ya in a couple of hours.
