Lesson 8: Otherworldly Items

Waking up is getting kind of hard with such pleasant dreams, but as I can control them, it is at least possible. I stand up and wash myself in the bath. Then I sit down on my bed and open my menu again. I click the button to upgrade my dream magic.

Yes.

[The upgraded dream magic is able to create things in this world. It isn't only limitted to the person hit with it, but the entire world. You are also able to create things of other universe. The stronger the item the lower the time summoned and the longer the cooldown.]

Where do I choose what to summon?

[You can get a list of available items in the 'Dream-Items' section of your skill menu. You can then acquire an item by clicking summon, which is found on the item profile.]

So it is basically like the gods menu, but for items?

I open up the Dream-Item menu and look at the available items. There is quite some items I have never seen, which even the other gods didn't. There was a thing called 'M16', a thing called 'Grenade' and or things similar to ones I have seen. Like a Scissor Blade, a big sword called dragon slayer or a sword called zanpakuto. It gets even weirder with a a gray weirdly shaped objct called samehada. But I decide to learn about those as I go on. Some of them might come in handy.

D:" How about we try to summon something to test the cooldown thing and so on out?"

V:" Fine."

I summon a little blue thingy called Navi. It appears, like it wasn't surprised.

Navi:" Hey! Listen!"

V:" To what?"

N:" I never thought any further...."

V:" What? So, what are you and where are you from?"

N:" I am a fairy! I come from a different place you probably not know"

V:" Well, that might be. What are you able to do?"

N:" I can guide you!"

G:" ... Seriously?"

V:" That is it? Nothing more?"

N:" No...."

V:" Annoying voice, weird movements and useless."

I look into my menu to send it back and I find a button a few seconds after. The annyoing thing is gone.

G:" God, lets be more careful next time."

M:" It quite some interesting memories... A whole other world, parallel to ours. Other creatures, other places and a few persons. I am confused about two names, though..."

V:" I will just be more careful next time"

After looking through it another time I list a few things to remember. Only using them in emergencies seems logical. So I try to configure Babylon magic.

[Do you want to create a room? Yes/No]

Ummm... Yes?

[Room created, you can enter through this list] A list pops up.

Can I name the rooms?

[Enter Roomname please]

Bedroom one

[Bedroom one created, you can now enter.]

I click the button to enter, but the room was empty. Except for me, Gilgamesh and Morpheus. Gilgamesh and Morpheus?

G:" Huh? It seems we are able to roam here too!"

M:" This... This feels like a dream."

V:" Can I create items here then?"

I create a few items, like a bed a bath and so on. It looks quite lively. But something is missing.

V:" Where is Dall?"

D:" I am still in your head."

V:" Why aren't you here like the other ones?"

D:" I am dead, actually. I can't just go back."

I think for a few seconds, while Dall speaks with someone I cannot hear.

D:" Oh... It seems like I can enter. I just cannot go back into the human world."

V:" Come here then!"

Dall enters the room. A big guy, with black hair, a black armor and with quite some magic in him appears.

V:" Is this you, Dall?"

D:" Yes, it is."

G:" I KNEW IT! You were that invincible guy!"

D:" Right, I told you so"

G:" Oh yes you did..."

I walk up to him and hug him. It just felt like I needed to.

D:" Oh little friend. It's good to see you for real. Honestly, that monitor was kind of boring"

V:" What monitor?"

D:" I can explain some other time. We should try some things first."

G:" Now I am sure it's you."

V:" What do we try?"

D:" Try leaving this room"

V:" Wha-"

D:" Just do so."

V:" You told me to question things!"

D:" I want to try if we can stay here without you being in here. It would be better for us to be able to plan our magic without interferring with yours."

I go out and open the menu again. It shows a number. Three. It seems that this is an indicator for who is in there. I get back in and we talk for another few hours about Dalls past and his experiences.
