Forgiveness

Looking at Nelly, Sebastian added, "Make sure mom takes her evening pills and rest." Without waiting for their replies, he pecked the top of Petra's head and made his way out of the mansion.

"Sebastian come back here, its too dangerous outside at this hour." Slumping on the couch, Petra sighed in dejection, "Why do I feel like something bad is about to happen to him."

Sitting beside her, Nelly comforted, "Its alright mom, you know how he is."

"He has never go beyond my words but today he went above my instructions."

Placing her head on her shoulder, Nelly sighed, "Yes I know, but believe me or not, Sebastian will be back soon. Nothing bad will happen to him."

Hospital

"She was here earlier today."

"Lorena?" Collins inquired.

Grayson frowned and vigorously nodded, "Petrarchan. She was here hours ago. She also brought me food and fed me."

"Are you serious? Petra came to see you and fed you?" He gasped.

"To be sincere, I'm short of words Collins. I never expected that sudden visit." Running his fingers through his hair, he smiled, "I was actually thinking of a way to solve everything with her but she appeared before time."

"I'm so happy to hear that, Grayson. And what did she say to you?"

Shrugging his shoulders, he sighed, "Nothing much, we talked little about us and shared the forgiveness together."

"Man, you're the one in need of forgiveness and not Petra."

Nodding his head in agreement, "Yes Collins you're right. I asked her for second chance and she granted it."

"What? Tell me you're kidding?" When he nodded his head, Collins beamed, "Oh boy, this is great news man. I've been wanting to hear this for some days now."

"And now you've heard it." He chuckled.

Pausing for a while, Collins inquired, "Did you asked about Sebastian and Nelly?"

"Of course I did." Helplessly shaking his head, he sighed in dejection, "According to her, Sebastian and Nelly hates me desperately. Infact they don't want to ever see me for the rest of their lives." Burying his face into his palms, he wept, "I miss my kids a lot."

Patting his shoulder, Collins remarked, "Its alright, things won't look like this forever. Definitely one day Sebastian and Nelly are going to find a place in their hearts to forgive you."

"When Collins? Tell me when? I've automatically lost them for life." Wiping his eyes, "Have you forgotten what hates means?"

"Grayson shedding of tears won't solve anything. You've gotten Petra, now the most important target should be Seb and Nel."

"I know but its not that easy as you see it. I need to prepare myself for mockery and scolding."

"Stop talking nonsense as if Sebastian is Liam." Taking a deep breath, Collins added, "Sebastian is gently and understanding, he'll definitely go easy on you."

"I wish Collins, I wish."

Keeping quiet for a while, he inquired, "Who do you suspect to be responsible for the cause of your accident?"

Raising his brows, he remarked, "If not Lorena and her bad son then who should it be? You?"

"Wait what? Come on man, that was just an ordinary simple question."

"I'd have reported them to the police but Petra coaxed me not to." Shaking his head, he clasped his hands, "If only I hadn't chase her away. If only I didn't fell for Lorena's tricks of getting me into her bed."

"Take a chill pill. I know Lorena and her son are behind this. Even after the accident, they didn't show up neither did they called." Helplessly shaking his head, he patted his shoulder, "Bare with everything happening around you Gray, its a matter of time."
