Ariel knew she had this coming when she boldly and stubbornly declined using another person's chair. She could only carry on her act and sit shamelessly on Raymond's legs.
"I hope I'm not disturbing you from making money, hubby." She said, hooking her arms around his neck and he shook his head.
"Not at all. If anything, having you here helps me concentrate." He shamelessly lied through his teeth and Ariel smiled.
She unhooked her arms and turned to look at the subordinates.
"Carry on, don't mind me. You won't even know I'm here once you've begun the meeting." She said and faced her phone.
"Now, let the meeting begin."
Ariel tried her best to act as a transparent figurine case but the stares she was getting made it hard to pretend and she felt uncomfortable. But thankfully, they soon got immersed in the meeting and forgot about her.
