"How! How is this even possible?" Dani stared blankly at the announcement ordering his arrest and thought that he was dreaming.

"We're...wanted by the police?"

George did not react any better either. His mouth trembled and he had no idea what expression to show on his face.

"Aghh! This is all your fault! You're the ones who dragged me into the mire!" Mary's face was white as a sheet, and she let out a heart-wrenching scream. She stared bitterly at Dani and George and shrieked like a mad woman. "You guys ruined me!"

All three of them were shell-shocked and mindblown.

The next moment, a quick knock on the door brought them back to their senses. A few people in police uniforms were looking at them apathetically from outside the door. The policeman then announced indifferently, "You're under arrest!"
