Mu Yangling sent the publishing house manager to look for the butlers of the Hanlin scholars' family, and both parties signed a contract. Mu Yangling offered to help the Hanlin officials publish any books written by them, without them having to pay a copper coin in advance.
The manager even hinted that not only could their publishing house publish their books of annotations, but they could also publish their poems, essays, travel memoirs, various insights about studying in general, and even the scripts for story-telling written in their spare time.
