"I'm a lighton we don't just bend to the wind"

 "Has she received the food" I asked Hardy, the butler, who came to the study "yes sir, she has" he replied with a bow and stood aside. I looked at the computer and switched to the security camera in the room. 

 I saw the girl move away from the bed and head towards the table of food. "She waits no time in eating" I said and looked up at the door that just opened and saw cross walking into the study. 

 "Sir, the lightons have made a move, they sent a message to the MG this afternoon", cross said holding a file. 

 "I don't think it'll be easy for them to find someone we kidnapped right Cross", I said. "Yes sir I'll get on with it" he replied and walked out of the study I turned back to the screen and saw the girl who was still eating "let's see how strong the lighton family ties are".

 "Wow, that was a sumptuous meal. Now that I have eaten I can plan my escape, hehe I'm not gonna wait for when this is supposedly over like Damien said. I'm a lighton we don't just bend to the wind" I said sitting on the bed. 

 I looked around the room wanting to notice any major detail in case of emergencies. I walked to the bathroom that was in the room still trying to memorize the position of everything it will be crucial for my escape. 

 "I don't believe that she just disappeared without a trace, listen to me, you're going to find my daughter and I don't want to know how the f**k you do it", I said. "Sir, we just received a reply from MG", a middle-aged bald man said. 

 "What did they say" I said looking at bill my right-hand man. "Apparently there is no evidence pointing to anyone and plus she hasn't appeared anywhere wlse" he said. "Ugh, get me Cecil" I said to him and he walked out of the office.

 Few minutes after Cecil walked in, "you had just one job Cecil, and that was to guard my daughter", I said looking at her she lowered her head "Sir, I did not perform my tasks I'll accept my punishment", she said. 

 "You'll get your punishment after you find my daughter, and if you don't find her I'll make you regret it" I said motioning for her to leave with my hands. "Yes sir", she said and left. 

 "Ugh" I groaned and threw the glass cup on my desk at the door, I stood up and walked away from the desk to my drink shelve and poured myself a glass of martini.

My wife Linda came in "honey, your breaking things again", she said, while walking to me. She took my glass and drank the contents. 

 "She'll be okay, she's not that weak she's a lighton, okay, she'll hang on long enough for us to find her", she said wrapping her hands around my waist and hugging me.
