Valentine's Day

Not wanting any sort of companionship was too pitiful! Nathan didn't seem like the type to be a commitaphobe due to wanting to play the field for longer. Sierra had never heard him mention a woman aside from Lisa. 

Not wanting children could be understandable from the perspective of not being able to handle noise or not liking them but he was obviously great with kids. That didn't make sense either. 

So what was it? Did he not want a family because he had lost his parents and was afraid of losing anyone else? That jived the most with what she knew about him but was somehow even sadder than being a player that hates kids. If not for being afraid he would lose people he cared about again, he would probably thrive having a family of his own. 

Yet another thing for Sierra to be frustrated about. Even if there was something out there that could make him happy long term, he refused to so much as consider it! Why was he like this?
