Love is in the Air

I woke up late today with my hand slowly searching for Kat who is supposed to be sleeping beside me, but not really. I read a note on the bed that she needed to be up and early for her shoot since it's a big account that their agency's been waiting to do for months. Kat kissed the note with her own red lipstick. Love it, I thought to myself and kissed the lips on the paper, which made me so happy. So, this means that she accepted the bracelet and now we're official. But, I haven't told her about myself, not yet. That I am Axel, the rocker and someone who is falling deeply in love with her, my Kat, my babe, my love.

Ahhh!, this is bad, I feel awesome, yet, bad at the same time. How can I tell her about my true identity now? I need to be in the rehearsal for the tour today and the rest of the month. The tour date is next month and I will be leaving her for a couple of weeks because of that. And I don't want to do that, without her knowing who I truly am. Hmm!, this sucks, Axel told herself while showering. She fixed herself up fit for a confident artist, rocker of the year, and went down to prepare breakfast. But to her surprise, Kat already did the sweetest thing and cooked her one whole meal, though not her first. The food was covered in plastic wraps, scrambled eggs, toasts and a glass of chocolate milk. OMG!, I totally love my girl, she added while happily munching on her breakfast touched with love.

At the shoot, Kat administered the models positions like in an acting workshop, where they needed to play roles in scenes wearing their grey and black leathers, into the space and out of this world suits. Fitted leather jackets, leather pants, halters, short leather shorts and above the knee leather dresses with high boots/or clogs. Make-ups are colorful like the rainbows. Hair dos' frozen and still for the boys, long and short hairs, flowing but glowing, for the girls. The models consist of 4 girls and 4 boys.

The shoot started at eight in the morning until five in the afternoon. Though the models were shot in different scenes, Kat's photographer made the impossible, possible by shooting the models' clothing along with their persona, and the exquisite balance of fire and water theme. When one girl and another in still position played fire and water in a luminous effect, Kat's mind blew and she just wanted to imagine Alex or Ali and her being photographed like that. It was magical and spectacular that Kat became emotional. It was a successful shoot and Kat haven't felt tired all through-out the day until she went upstairs to her room and laid down her bed. Ali have been calling her from the tour, since she already started that a week ago. Kat ticked the voicemail and almost cried by how Ali sounded desperate and wanting to kiss and hug her. It's the first time they both experienced an LDR set up because of the tour. Before their concert was to start in some parts of Europe but the plan changed to the Middle East where they were personally invited by the Prince of Dubai. Since Prince Faz has died his son and nephews who are now the rulers, pledged to care for the country along with the beautiful and powerful Dubai that their relatives built for them. Ali personally met Prince Faz when she was little. She is Muslim borne and Faz was about 110 years old then but still strong and athletic as he always had been. Ali always says that he was a wonderful person and a loving leader of his country. But the people of Dubai aren't that friendly nor kind. Many foreigners especially Filipinos were treated badly by the Arabs, plus some women were raped and domestically abused by their employers. Now a law passed after years of pleading for hundreds of women and men who had experienced violence from their employers, can now be imprisoned and be compensated by Dubai government and other governments who signed the treaty to protect Employees, doing a white or blue collar jobs. Domestic Helpers or OFW abbreviation no longer exist and changed to Overseas Contract Employees or OCE. It's been a challenging journey to push this law in the senate and to the world treaty, yet it was passed and approved 20 years ago. I was very young then, but my dad told me all about the story behind it and it was an amazing shift. From a masochistic, male dominated world to equal rights and benefits for women, men and LGBTQ+ community. I haven't really felt strange about my sexuality and knew that I am attracted to women than men. But my family never judged nor questioned me of my gender. But I don't about Ali or Alex, if she was accepted by her family ever since. What I knew about her is that she was orphaned at a very young age and that she was adopted, and that's it. Ali cut me off and sighed deeply, that's the problem, we were advised to extend until August 31st and I tried to work it out with our manager but it's been paid for already. People have been flocking from everywhere and they couldn't stop them. So, the good thing about it is that I will get to see the places here in Dubai and send you the pictures. Mwah!

Oh, okay, I replied feeling down myself. But even though that it's a good opportunity to reflect on some things about my life and our relationship. Please, don't it's just for another week and we will see each other again, alright, wait for me!, Ali reiterated assuring Kat that she doesn't need to worry about anything.

I know and I understand your job, I love you!, Kat replied happily. I love..youuu!, Ali said and waited for Kat to put the phone off before hers. Ahhh! I still can't tell her who I am, I can't take it anymore. After I get back home I am going to tell her about my true identity and whatever happens, happens!, Ali promised herself while holding her cell seated on one of the audience seats at the concert hall in Berlin. The bands previous weeks concerts was held in Redfest and then their manager had asked for a change of plans when a producer wanted to meet them in Germany for a contract to have their sixth album worked out there.

Alex almost refused but her band talked over the idea, and it's a good plan since they needed this break from the social media and be known worldwide for their new album. They are still choosing the title between All About Us or You are my Moon I am your Star. Though her band already wrote alternative rock with a twist of love songs, Alex wanted to give a tribute to Kat, for being her one and only love. Alex wanted to offer this album for her because her life totally changed and it's the most wonderful things that happened to her all these years.
