The Moonies Band is set to perform at a club in New York and the fans are already bumping and grinding over the show, all seats were already taken. The club will be jam packed today and traffic have been heavy due to the ruckus our band did. While preparing for the show, my band mates are all looking at me and I was curious why. Okay, what, now?, Ali asked annoyed about the attention. We can't help but ask how come you're all smiley and happy today?, Terry said laughing. Aha, this, well I met the girl of my dreams and yup we almost made out!, Ali cried bragging. Oh, wow, almost, what happened she didn't find you man enough haha!, Saint, said jokingly. Everyone laughed. No, she still has a boyfriend and I am just being a friend to her at this time until she finally gave up on the guy she's with, Ali added explaining herself while the make-up artist is fixing her hair and make-up. Ah, well, it's not the ultimate relationship but yup, Ali said still smiling. Alex, I know you like her and all, though we haven't met her really, but you should think hard about the situation. The gig was a blast and girl fans hover in front of Alex like pigeons trying to gang up to peck a pellet. Alex just shrugged and kissed all the girls cheering her on and took some pictures for them to hang on their fridge and or rooms. High school girls and teen agers boys and gals alike are so in love with her that they could catch a bullet for her if that ever happens. Its an automatic Lamborghini!), the man speaking Mexican advised Alex and her badn mates just rolled their eyes and shouted all together running up front the pub to check on the car. Their manager thanked the generous man who happens to own the pub they played to with just three songs but made the place a hit when teen agers from all over New York and outside of the city came to watch the Moonies play and the audience reached three thousand.

Palladium was jam packed and this big man was so happy not only he gave the band his car but free drinks on him for the three thousand participants at the concert. Mr. Pelaez is the richest man in New York now sicne he owns most of the clubs in the city with his wing man Pedrito, his adopted son, who have eyes for Alex, though he knows that she is a lesbian. He still tries to get closer to her even though she knows he doesn't have any chance at all. Mr. Pelaez loves Alex and like his own daughter he has been supporting her like his own since she was entrusted to her by a friend who passed on a long time ago, Yes, Alex is an orphan. She has been working at a gas station and been flipping burgers all her teen age life when her mom got seriously ill due to cancer. Mr. Pelaez was her mom's ex-boyfriend but he never told the girl who he was to her mom.

Alex's dad was a drunk and been domestically abused along with her mom. The reason why Alex's mom got sick was when her dad one night so drunk from alcohol accidentally pushed his wife and bumped her head on the kitchen sink and incurred a clot on her head. Soon, Alex's mom have been feeling pain on her head since lacking money they weren't able to go to the doctor for check-ups for her head. Mr. Pelaez offered to help Alex's mom who was reluctant but the man insisted when she looked very ill then at that time. And there they found out about the tumor. It's been 10 years since Alex lost her mom who she loves very much that she worked two jobs to keep her alive. But Alex's mom rested on the day her dad was arrested for abusing his live in partner at their shack down the block where Alex lived all her life. She learned to protect herself by carrying with her a small knife for protection against thugs, rapists and gang members who try to either drug her or sexually abuse her, especially when they knew that she came out to a supposedly close friend who betrayed her trust of her secret that she is a lesbian.

From then on, her struggles were life threatening and she's always on the run for her life and her virginity. One time when she was about to be gang raped by the neighborhood addicts down the block, Mr. Pelaez and Pedrito came to her rescue and careied her out of the dump she was in. Her mom the passed away after several weeks and Mr. Pelaez stood as her guardian and he employed a trustworthy manager to take care of her and her money well for her that she can even retire at the age of 30 years. Alex was so happy that she hugged Mr. Pelaez and called him Padre. Gracias Papa!, Alex just said since she's speechless and can't believe her guardians generosity. Mr. Pelaez's eyes sparkled and as if he wanted to cry from joy since the girl she adopted called her dad.

Mr. Pelaez cried tears of joy and moved back to get a closer look at the people on a frenzy partying at his club and it was an amazing sight, he laughed like a crazy man. He hugged and kissed the guests. He got up the stage and used the microphone to tell everyone that his baby girl called her dad for the first time and it's the happiest day of his life. Everyone clapped their hands and cheered for him. Mr. Pelaez announced that drinks are free and it's on the house, which now is at about ten in the evening. The club stays lit until three in the morning on the weekends and 12 midnight in ordinary days. Alex heard how happy her step dad was when she called him dad and she smiled at that feeling so whole now that she has a family she could call as her own. That for the first time she doesn't need to run away and hide from the abuse or protect herself from danger or people trying to hurt her, not this time. I am free from all those and now a new born girl, out of the dirty and violent Bronx and living in a new world where I am respected, adored and accepted as beautiful and amazing. It feels so wanoderful feeling beautiful.

For the first time in my life, I don't shy away from people and ashamed that I'm gay or I am an orphan. I am who I am and I am beautiful no matter what. I am confident and I am a star. I am Alex from the Moonies and I am the bomb!, Haha!, Alex thought smiling and hugging her band mates. Terry started the car engine and drove towards the highway to check on the sports cars gears. It was amazing. We are all laughing and shouting and I hope this crazy night won't end at all. I have never been so happy in my life until now. I wanted to visit Kat's house and told Terry about her. He gave me some tips and just bade me goodbye to take care of my elf and my heart. I voice messaged dad that I'll be visiting him tomorrow and so we can have fun for the say since I have been busy from touring and the gigs on pubs, clubs and concerts. I took my hoodie and covered my hair. I changed my ragged outfit from leather to sweat shirts and baggy pants.

Kat was at a friend's house and will be coming home soon, so I stayed at a nearby café and ordered a hot chocolate latte for two. Kat's car just parked over her lot and I parked mine at the other side of the road for her not to be suspicious of me. Though the thought of telling her the truth about me has been eating me many times. I'm still worried about she being angry or hating me for not telling her the truth and lying to her about my true identity. But I just want to make sure if she truly likes me for me and not because I am Alex the rock star, but Ali, the regular person who has feelings for her too. I want her to accept me for who I am and not for who I am in the limelight. I don't know if that makes any sense at all but yeah, well. Kat saw me right away and smiled at me with that cutest grin where all her white teeth always come out and dimples on both cheeks greet me with much gusto.

Hi!, Alex said while she giving the hot choco latte to Kat. Thanks, wow!, you shouldn't have, but why are you here? What's the occasion?, Kat asked curious. Ah, just want to surprise you, I like surprises and I just want to see you, that's all. And this, Alex added feeling awkward and not wanting to lie to Kat anymore, little by little she wants to get to know the real her. And maybe in time she'll have the guts to tell the girl she loves about her and her true identity. Woww!, my God, is this what I think it is? Kat asked about the car. Yes, a Lamborghini, want to ride with me?, Alex asked shyly but she never wanted any girl other than Kat and she wants to make her happy. Ah, well, it's a bad timing though, you remember my boyfriend, right, well, we talked earlier and I told him how I feel about our relationship and that it's not working anymore for the both of us, so I told him it's over. But I felt bad that he was about to propose to me. Dean!, Kat and Alex said the name together. Oh, wow!, I'm sorry to hear that, haha!, but yeah, ah, yeah sorry, I didn't mean to laugh, Alex replied happily but swallowed something in her throat so she won't laugh from the happiness the news brought her. It's just that, I didn't expect it so soon, the break up, I mean!
