"It's either you and me today then, the one who leaves will be me..."

Reus muttered that while looking coldly at the giant dark shadow covered in dark dense dark aura with violet eyes staring back at Reus

Reus was also wearing a pitch black armour with crimson light leaking from his eyes and next suddenly

The dark shadowy figure suddenly moved towards Reus at insane speed, Reus's eyes widened from surprise but just with his reflexes he managed to avoid the fatal damage

Reus did manage to block the direct collision but just the speed and force behind that tackle was enough to send Reus flying to the corner of the room without any blockage

"Kugghh! Caugh... Caugh... Damn..."

Reus tightened his grip over his sword and used it to stand up again and look in front of him

As Reus did that he noticed the black figure standing in distance and next moment the figure once again dashed towards Reus

And this time the claws made up of some kind of aura were also visible behind the dashing dark monster

'I can't take this one!!!'

Reus knew his limits and next immediately jumped to avoid direct strike and as planned Reus did manage to avoid the strike

And at the place where Reus was standing before a huge cater and huge claw marks have appeared by now

The eyes of Reus and dark phantom once again met, Reus seemed more cautious but the dark figure was just looking at this prey with cold gaze

"Goodnight! You son of a dog!!!"

Reus didn't face the dark figure to make the move first this time and rushed towards his enemy himself

The dark figure somehow seemed carefree and the white grin over his face was visible quite clearly there

Reus was also visibly confused by such reaction and next moment the sword of Reus collided with the dark giant curved blade of dark figure

There was a huge shockwave as after effect of collision of two monstrous forces

'This fog bastard, isn't just fast... He's strong as hell...'

Reus gritted his teeth tightly and next moment started making strike after strikes and kept on trying to harm the black figure but the only thing that happened was Reus being more and more nervous

There was not a single change of posture and presence of the black figure but Reus was already filled with sweats after continuous battle

Reus suddenly noticed a strike approaching his face from the right and immediately dodged it while distancing himself

And before anything could happen to him after that Reus had already arrived dozens of meters away from dark figure

"Wha-!?! What the hell!?!!!"

As Reus landed over the ground he noticed the ground below him had changed to something weird

And next out of nowhere Reus started getting sucked inside the dark ground

"What's happening!?!"

Reus tried to do anything he can, despite his struggle and attempts the ground continued to suck him under itself

"Release !!!"

Reus finally gave up and quickly gave the command and immediately a large sphere of flames got released from his armour

And the dark flames completely devoured the darkness at his feet which was sweeping Reus inside it

The dark figure was confused as the whole surrounding near Reus was now filled with raging dark flames

But just then Reus suddenly rushed at him from between those flames with his sword

The sword in Reus's hands this time managed to pass through the dark figure

"What..."

But it didn't take long for Reus to realise the situation, Reus had also passed through the body of dark figure and next suddenly

Reus turned back and noticed the wide grin of dark figure, the dark figure launched his barrage of attack

Hundreds of sharp piercing figures rushed at Reus from the dark ground near the dark figure

"Hell!!!"

Reus somehow blocked all the attacks and once again started his planning for the future

'Fuu~ let's just hope I stay conscious this time...'

Reus made a resolute decision and next his sword got covered in dark aura and the runes all over the sword suddenly lightened up

The hilt of the sword suddenly started changing into the shape of a crescent moon with designs of dragon scales glowing all over it

Reus's eyes also suddenly changed into somewhat line a dragon with slit in centre of them

Those words came directly to Reus's consciousness by that sword which looked like wrath of hundreds of dragons combined

Next the scales of the dark dragon also became visible over Reus's neck, face and other body parts too

Reus's blade was covered in dense dark and silvery aura and next time Reus rushed with much stronger strength and agility

Reus and Dark figure once again collided but Reus clearly seemed far more stronger and active right now but still the difficulty he was facing didn't seem to have gone down much

"Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!"

The dark figure was definitely surprised by this new movement and power up but he still managed to gain control over the situation really fast

Several dark swords suddenly appeared behind his body and once again the collision between him and Reus continued

'He is too good with swords...'

As time continued the dark figure with just pure skills with swords and completely unpredictable sword moves

Managed to give Reus the toughest fight of his life right now, Reus's physical and magical capabilities were far off the chart for his Tier right now

'I considered this move as my trump but it seems like it won't be here...'

Reus gritted his teeth as the strikes continued, Reus kept getting more and more slashes and injuries during the fight

Reus also managed to do few strikes but it wasn't anything that can be called fatal

The way of swords of that monstrous figure was definitely beyond the mortal comprehension

It almost seemed like he was moving a giant sword from shadow to shadow, almost teleporting them to other places

And this managed to catch Reus off guard at most times, and suddenly Reus got kicked hard by the dark figure at his chest sending him back dozens of meters away

And this time without giving Reus any time to stand back again three swords rushed at Reus from left edge and other two from right side along with claws of dark figure from the front

But Reus didn't seem much surprised and instead he kept good cool over the situation

Reus thrusted his left leg inside the ground with immense and strength and with bended right leg Reus waved his sword making a smooth clean crescent arc of sword in air

Reus managed to pierce through all the dark swords of dark figure along with the dark figure itself

"Ha... Ha... Kugghh!!!"

But seems like it was still not enough and next suddenly the claws of the dark monster passed right through Reus's stomach from side

Reus looked at the front of him with deep shock over his eyes and noticed a face of a man covered with rotten hair skin staring at him with silvery white eyes

He was the same dark monster covered in dense dark aura, but Reus was still one who was called protagonist here

Reus's eyes slowly lost his colour but somehow a drop of good blood managed to touch the blade of sword

And as that happened suddenly Reus's eyes widened and this time his whole eyes were pitch black and only a crimson slit eyes were visible in middle of both eyes

The air around Reus completely changed and next moment his sword became pitch black and it seemed like crescent moon over the hilt had also started shining

The dark armour of Reus suddenly started giving off explosive flames covering the whole room within a second

And next Reus's sword moved over the place a total of ten times and after a few seconds of silence

A huge storm erupted all over the room, all pillars suddenly sliced down from their places cut in different pieces, there were huge sword marks all over the walls

Reus fell to ground kneeling over his sword but he wasn't the only one to fall like that

Next moment the figure also fell to ground cut with more than thousand pieces all over the ground

The eyes, body, armour and sword of Reus slowly returned to normal but his consciousness was lost in the middle of endlessness

'... Now where is this?...'

Reus found himself in front of a house with the whole surrounding covered in endless fog

'What!?! What happened to my body!?! Why can't I speak!?!'

It didn't take Reus had to figure out his own situation right now, his body has become quite blurry like a ghost and in the current situation he was standing there with only his inner clothes and not his sword or armour

He was neither able to speak nor could he feel the atmosphere near him, his senses as super human beings were also not working at current state

Reus looked around him and noticed he couldn't go beyond the fog no matter how many times he tried

'Let's just see inside the house instead...'

Reus sighed and decided to go inside the wooden middle sized house instead
