I'm a Ghost in My Second Chance
A measly argument led to Finn's sudden death. At the moment where Finn was losing his consciousness, a golden light descended in his classroom and enveloped his mates. Merely ruling it out as divine judgement, Finn didn't realize that they were being summoned to another world. Before he could be summoned though, he died. But because of his strong desires and attachments, right before the summoning ended, he became a Ghost. Using his uniqueness, Finn used the summoning gate that connected the two worlds to travel to a world that has tasted the blood of gods. On his journey through space, he evolved into a higher version of his new race. [Successful. You have evolved.] [You have become a Great Phantom.] Finn obtained new abilities, survived a land packed with strong evolved creatures and continued to grow stronger. "I'm not an ordinary Ghost, I'm an evolved one!" Finn didn't slow down his grind, he only aimed higher. For the life he desired in this world of survival of the fittest, he needed to surpass the pinnacle of his existence!
Statue's Identity
Finn's control over webs, due a more evident influence of the spider's mind, became more fluid and versatile. His web generation was also consuming less mana as he had a spider body to do that for him now.
For this reason, he was able to kill the owl before it could get used to its Rune Gift while also keeping the winged female that was once a statue at bay.
But the spider's influence also had its disadvantages because of the intrusive thoughts it was causing Finn to have. If not for his strong mental fortitude, Finn might have killed Anatalia when he was taking care of the owl.
Finn glanced at Anatalia beside him, controlling the webs to comfortably wrap her. Using telepathy, he said to Nagic, who was also using a barrier to keep the winged female's movement limited.
"Come. Take Anatalia, find a safe spot for both of you to stay. Try hiding under the trees. I'm not sure if I can hold back while fighting the statue."
