Olivia's pov

I spent the rest of the evening knowing more about Derick.he wasn't as bad and rough as I thought ,by the end of the day we became a little bit closer.he dropped me at home and promise to take me to school the next day .

I went inside my apartment and noticed that aunt has already gone to work.i took a quick bath and was about to sleep when I saw a strange number calling me.i look at the country code and noticed it was from China .then and there i knew who was calling.i check the number again and realized it was a different number from the one I blocked.i hissed and dropped the phone .he kept on calling but I refused picking up.few minutes later I noticed he stopped calling .I breath a sign of relief and was about to sleep when my phone kept blinking light indicating I have a message.i pick up the phone and saw that it was messages from Rona

"You blocked my line from calling you "

"Pick my calls"

"I'm ordering you to pick up my calls"

"If you don't pick up this call consider yourself in trouble"

"Pick up"

"Are you alright"

"Just pick up"

"Are you alright"

"You should fucking answer me"

"Hey I'm worried"

I hissed switch off my phone and slept off.

The next morning when I woke up aunt was already in the kitchen

"Good morning aunt".I greeted

"Morning oli".she replied.

I left her and went about my morning duties.i went back to my room so I could dress up for school when my phone started ringing.i checked the caller and saw that it was Derick

"I'm outside your apartment". came the voice over the phone 

"Give me a minute".I told him and quickly left my room.i told my aunt goodbye and left the house .I got outside and spotted Derrick's car .I was about walking to it when I felt two guys walking toward me . Derick must have seen them because he came down from his car .

"Stay away from her ".he sounded like he knew them 

"Our boss just wanted to make sure she was fine".one if them spoke .then and there I realized they were Rona men

"Tell rona she is fine and with me ". Derick spoke with so much authority.the guys gave me a hard look before walking away .

"Let's go". Derick told me with a calm voice. 

I followed him to his car and he drove out

"You should be careful". Derick spoke to me without looking at me.

"Don't worry ,I will be fine".I told him with a smile . he smilled at me and kept on driving.

We got to school and walk hand in hand to the lecture hall.people were whispering behind us but I care less.when we got to the lecture hall I thought Derick will sit in another seat but rather he sat beside me . people were looking at us but he care less .I moved closer to him and whispered into his ear 

"Seems like you are making me popular".I told him .

He chuckled and look around to see the students staring at us .as soon as they noticed he was looking at them ,they quickly look away and avoided us. 

The lecture lasted for hours untill it was pass 2pm

"Are you hungry". Derick asked in a caring voice

"Yeah".I replied back 

"Let's go"

I followed him to the car park .we got into his car and he drove off .

He took me to a fancy restaurant and we made our orders .while we were eating I noticed someone walking in .I look up and saw that it was Derick father 

"What the fuck ".I whispered

Derick followed my gaze and saw that I was uncomfortable because of his dad 

"You shouldn't be scared of him".he told me with an assuring voice. I took a deep breath and kept on eating.

Derick father walk over to us and stood before us

"Seems like you are having a good time son".he asked in a teasing voice 

"Dad". Derick replied back with irritation in his voice .

"I'm not here to disturb your romantic lunch".he teased.i look at the man and noticed he was different from the man who met me at the coffee shop.it was pretty obvious he loves Derick so Much.

"Hello Olivia".he greeted me. I felt a little bit scared and anxious when I heard my name.

"Don't be scared of me ,I don't bite".he spoke those words with a little smile on his face.i gave him a fake smile before looking away .

"Can you leave us dad ". Derick told his dad in an annoyed voice .

The father chuckled and walk away. 

"I'm sorry about that ",.he told me 

"It's fine".I told him with a smile on my face .he smilled at me and went back to his food .we ate in silence untill we were through.after eating he paid and we left the restaurant.

"Thanks for the food ".I told him when we got inside the car .

"It's nothing ".he told me 

"Let me take you home ",.he asked

"Yeah".

He drove me home and promise to check up on me .I was about leaving when he held me back and kissed me in the cheek.i felt my cheek turn red and quickly ran out of the car .I could hear his  lound laugh behind me .
