Chapter 3 awakening chakra and new rewards

2 years went by and I am now three years old.

Thanks to the nanotech in my body I was able to grow to my physical body and strengthen it without stunting my growth and the same could be said about my chakra reserve but I don't have anything to compare to.

In this time even though it's taken a while I started to call mikoto and fugaku, mother and father.

It feels weird since I didn't have parent in last life it's a nice feeling having parents. They don't treat me any different to itachi even though I'm adopted.

Fugaku, now father has a very stern attitude to both us so it's hard to tell the difference anyway.

When it comes to mikoto, now mother she treats me kindly along with itachi treating me like his brother.

I've been going over everything I could get my hands on in the library and scanning everything I could.

I've learnt all the hand signs need for ninjutsu and have been practicing the speed of the hand signs from all the ninjutsu I've learnt, although nothing has happened because I haven't awoken my chakra yet.

Since the third great ninja war is still going on I'll be be taken along to the battlefield just like itachi with father so he can learn something from it.

He's been training me along with itachi whenever he gets back from the battlefield. He's been training me in the uchiha style shurikenjutsu and how to use a kunai effectively.

I'm not on the same level as itachi yet but he has been practicing for longer than I have plus he's a prodigy so he's basically cheating but so am I but still.

Since itachi and father are already gone to the battlefield I'd say now is the time to awaken my chakra so I can get some practice in before they get back.

I went into the courtyard to look for a place that I can concentrate and found a tree.

I walked over to the tree sat under a tree in the shade. I crossed my legs and closed my eyes, taking in deep breaths I could feel the wind flowing through the air.

I started focusing on feeling around my body until eventually I reached upon a warm spot at my stomach.

"Ineed to do this without the help of rapheal otherwise I might become to reliant on him" i thought to myself while trying feel around for chakra.

After focusing for a bit I finally felt it, a warm spot on my stomach which I tried to move it out and around my body.

I was trying force it around my body and trying to get to flow through the network in my body. I was trying this for what felt like a while but ended up with no results.

*sigh* "Usually when kids awaken their chakra they usually have some assistance for their parents or something, maybe I should ask for help I mean mother is a jonin so she should be able to help… nah I'll try on my own and if it doesn't work out and I see progress then I'll ask" I said to myself

I closed my eyes again and this time I let flow slower through my body. The warm sensation felt nice and relaxing as it flowed throughout my body. Slowly but surely the chakra worked its way all around body.

And then suddenly it felt like a shock and I feel warmth flowing throughout my body and an increase of strength.

"I did it, I actually did it! Finally but I wonder how long I was concentrating for? It's already sunset" I said excitedly as i opened my eyes and looked up to see mother standing there watching me with a smile on her face

"You were focusing for a few hours, I was watching just incase something went wrong but it seems you figured out on your own, it looks your quite talented" mother said in a cheerful voice

"Hehe thanks" i replied *growl* the sound came rumbling from my stomach "is there any food I'm kinda hungry for all the practice "

"Yes there is, come on" she said as she gestured me to flow her.

She then held my hand and walked with me "fufu it seems my son is going to be quite capable when he gets older" mother said with a smile of her face.

After eating and relaxing for a little bit I couldn't wait to use my chakra so I went back to the yard and started doing laps around it to see how much my stamina has increased. I was running for a whole hour before getting tired.

I sat back down under the tree to rest until I heard [ding, because you have finally awoken your chakra you have unlocked a special feature]

"Huh, what's going on, is this a new feature"

[After unlocking finally unlocking your chakra you have completed the requirements for this feature. This new feature will provide missions for the host to complete and in return you get a reward]

"I guess that simple enough, what's my first mission"

[learn to climb up a tree using chakra. Reward: increased chakra capacity and control by 100% -no time limit]

"This is nice, I was already planning on doing this anyway and now I get to double my chakra and my chakra control for completing it" i thought to myself feeling more motivated than before.

Since there's no time limit I'll do it tomorrow, my chakra is already depleted from the running I was doing.

I made my way back to the house and headed for the shower because I was all sweaty from the exercise then made my way to bed.

I need all the rest I can get, tomorrow morning is when the fun starts.
