Yuga brought the Enchanted Honey back and invited Florges and the others to taste it together. Everyone loved it, especially Audino, who practically licked the jar clean.
Unfortunately, there was very little honey, so each Pokémon could only taste a bit. Moreover, this honey was exceptionally challenging to produce, and it was uncertain when they would have another chance to taste it.
For the Pokémon who didn't find it satisfying, they resorted to Sweet Honey as an alternative to curb their cravings. After all, Amber Castle was now overflowing with Sweet Honey.
Next, Yuga had to prepare for his own Grassy Terrain mass production plan. Originally, this plan was his response to the impact that Truly Adorable Day Care had on his business. However, before the plan could even start, they had closed down.
Regardless of their closure, Yuga intended to continue with his plan.
When thinking about Grass-type Pokémon, Yuga's first thought was naturally his Master.
Initially, he considered asking Aroma Day Care for information in this regard since the two Day Care had always had a good relationship and conducted business together. However, Aroma Day Care was renowned for its expertise in Grass-type Pokémon.
Asking them for information would be like using their help to compete against them, and it might strain their relationship, which was built on mutual respect.
So, after some consideration, Yuga decided to seek assistance from his own Master.
When Yuga called the manor, it was still Ryuichi who answered the phone.
Over the phone, Yuga explained his plan to acquire Oddish and Hoppip to Ryuichi.
Ryuichi laughed heartily and said, "So, that's what this is about! Leave it to me. You can wait for my message at home. I'll get back to you in two days."
With Ryuichi's promise, Yuga eagerly awaited news at home.
However, two days later, instead of a call from Ryuichi, Yuga received an urgent delivery.
The delivery was a perfectly square box, leaving Yuga quite puzzled as he couldn't recall anyone mentioning sending him a package.
But his confusion was soon resolved.
Before he could open the box to see what was inside, he received a call from Ryuichi.
"How's it going, young master? Have you received the Pokémon I sent you?" Ryuichi's familiar voice came through the phone.
"You mean the box was from you, and it contains Pokémon?" Yuga asked in astonishment.
"Yes! You haven't opened it yet? Inside, you'll find Pokémon that I and Mr. Kuni'o have accumulated over the years. Since we don't need them, they've been living in our yard. Mr. Kuni'o said that since you need them, he's giving them all to you. Most of them are from the Oddish and Hoppip families."
Hearing Ryuichi's words, Yuga was dumbfounded.
He had originally intended to ask Ryuichi for information on where to find Grass-type Pokémon in abundance so he could catch them himself. He hadn't expected Ryuichi to package it from his Master inventroy and send the Pokémon to him.
Mr. Kuni'o and Ryuichi, one a Master Trainer and the other an Elite Trainer, had both progressed step by step from humble beginnings.
Unlike Yuga, who had Insight ability from the system, they had also raised many Pokémon themselves. Most of these Pokémon belonged to the Oddish and Hoppip families because these two families were the most common and easiest to obtain.
Mr. Kuni'o was a traditionalist who preferred to raise Pokémon step by step rather than spend a fortune on high potential Pokémon. After gaining fame, raising Grass-type Pokémon had become his pleasure rather than a means to become stronger, as he was already quite powerful.
However, among the Pokémon they had sent to Yuga, there weren't many with high potential. The high potential Pokémon had long been raised and guarded on their manor. This was also why such a large manor had no staff; the Grass-type Pokémon took care of all the chores and security.
As for those low potential Pokémon, Mr. Kuni'o figured they wouldn't be of much use to him, so when he heard that Yuga needed them, he had Ryuichi package and send them over.
Yuga never expected such a generous gift from his Master and Ryuichi.
After finishing the call with Ryuichi, Yuga and Audino together carried the package that had arrived via express delivery into the Ecopark.
Yuga suspected that there must be quite a few Poké Balls inside the package because it was not light.
Once the box was in the main Ecopark, Yuga opened it up, and as he expected, it contained a bunch of Poké Balls.
So, Yuga and Audino released all the Pokémon from these Poké Balls and counted their number and types.
Most of them were from the Oddish and Gloom families, Hoppip, Skibloom, and Jumpluff along with a few Bellossom and Vileplume.
The majority of these Pokémon had yellow potential, with a few having orange and a small number with green. Among them, there were two or three green-potential Vileplume and Bellossom, and a few Jumpluff with green potential as well.
These green-potential Vileplume, Bellossom, and Jumpluff were likely the leaders of this group of Grass-type Pokémon.
These Pokémon had been raised very obediently, and they didn't seem to have any trouble adapting to their new environment.
Yuga planned to relocate them to the second island heart lake in the Shallow Seashore.
Similar to the Oasis in the Desert Sub-Ecopark, there were three island heart lakes in the Shallow Seashore, each connected by a long stone bridge.
The first island was inhabited by Greninja and Milotic, while the other two were currently vacant.
The reason Yuga didn't place them in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark, which was suitable for Grass-type Pokémon, was due to the significant disparity in their potentials. If he placed them in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark, which had high potential Pokémon, it might affect the quality of the other Pokémon.
It wasn't favoritism, but a practical decision. The reality was quite harsh, and other Day Cares operated in a similar manner.
high potential breeding seeds couldn't be mixed with those of slightly lower quality; it went against the principles of selective breeding.
Apart from the Oddish and Hoppip families, among the Pokémon that were sent, there were also five Exeggutor and five Lurantis, all with green potential. Yuga arranged them to the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark.
The population of Grass-type Pokémon in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark expanded further, getting closer to the upper limit set by the Day Care.
Currently, in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark, there were three Serperior, eight Lilligant, ten Tsareena, five Cacturne, five Bellossom, five Exeggutor, five Lurantis, and five Shroomish. They all had plant types in their egg groups, allowing them to pair up and lay eggs.
Yuga just had to be patient.
As for Sceptile, Skiddo, and Sewaddle, these three types of Grass-type Pokémon didn't have any plants in their egg groups, and they couldn't crossbreed. They would have to be processed internally.
Note: Lotad is in the Grassland Sub-Ecopark, not in the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark.
