INTRODUCTION

It's 2009. My name is Jade Bradford. I moved away from my mother when I was 6 years old to live with my dad in California. Now I'm back in Boston, Massachusetts with my mom after a very long 11 1/2 years. I haven't visited very much, but I'm spending the last of my 7 months of being 17 here with her. It's only been a couple days since I've settled in, my room is huge, second biggest in the house next to my moms. My older sister Talia is on her way back from Europe where she was a foreign exchange student. Now she's 18 with nowhere to go. Anyway, I've basically got half a year left until I'm 18 and I have to spend almost all of it going to school at Boston's North High School. Speaking of, I start school in two days, 'that's great.' All I have now is to sit here and wait until the first day of school in which I'm totally dreading. Hopefully I'll at least make some friends...
