Hunter

Gyro was forced out of the Heaven's Arena after killing Maxwel, even though he lost the battle.

He had wanted to become a floor master and compete in the Battle Olympiad so he could grow in strength, but now he had no choice but to leave.

He would become a hunter.

But before that he would train some more, if Maxwel had truly aimed to kill him, Gyro might have died; perhaps it was Gyro's young age that made him more merciful.

He would train until he was strong enough to kill Maxwel in seconds.

*3 Years Later*

The year was currently 1983, 16 years before the start of the plot. (It should be 1971, but I'd rather Gyro be 30 when the plot starts instead of 42)

Gyro was now 14 and he had been religiously training his nen.

His En could now extend for 40 meters in each direction and could last for several hours, if he were to push hard enough his En could extend to 50 meters but it would last for a much shorter time period.

He had trained using Bisky's training methods, he had learnt shu as well; In case it helps him one day.

He had trained his Ken and could now hold it for 45 minutes, and had also became better at using Ryu.

He trained his hatsu as well, using Bisky's method of enhancement training: Rock smashing.

He enhanced a stone's durability using Shu and Ko to repeatedly smash other rocks without breaking the one he is holding. The exercise ends when he manages to break 1,000 stones.

He had gone a level beyond that and had enhanced a metal spoon to break 1000 rocks with.

He also trained his transmutation, not only forming the numbers 0 through 9 on top of his index finger by manipulating the shape of their aura; but also creating more intricate shapes and patterns in under a minute.

As he could use Ken for 45 minutes, he likely had an Aura power between 16,200 and 21,600, if we were to say Ken uses 6 to 8 aura points per second.

He also trained his nen ability, but it seemed like it was impossible to conjure over 10 Hellfire Roses at once, though the more Aura points he had the stronger the ability was.

He hadn't forgotten to train his physical abilities as well.

He was now ready to become a world-class hunter.

The hunter exam was supposedly in Swardani City, the place where the hunter association's headquarters is located in.

Heading on the ship, Gyro decided to take a quick nap.

He woke up hearing shouting and screaming, Pirates were on the ship.

'This must be one of those preliminary exams to trim the fat.'

The pirates were tying up the hunter exam candidates and threatening to take their lives.

'I'm guessing this is meant to showcase your power and mental fortitude'

As several pirates approach him, Gyro releases his immense ren breaking their spirirts.

Gyro then starts to meditate hoping to reach the exam as quickly as possible.

Finally reaching the harbor, Gyro heads down the ship.

'Well that was easy'

Gyro didn't know what to do next, he didn't know how to find the hunter's exam site.

Suddenly an idea strikes Gyro.

'I'll just head to the hunter association's headquarters.'

Heading to the headquarters, Gyro decides to eat something as he had not eaten in a long time.

After finishing the delicious meal, Gyro heads to the headquarters.

As Gyro enters the building, he releases a bit of his nen; letting them know he knew nen.

"Hello, how can the hunter association help you today?" Questioned the receptionist.

"I want to know where the hunter exam is, could you please help me?" Gyro asked calmly

"Sorry, the exam site must be found by the candidates themselves" The receptionist answered with practiced ease.

"I don't have time for this, isn't the reason you guys have the preliminaries to trim the fat? how about you see my strength for yourself" Gyro replied annoyedly

"I'll have to call mr beans" the receptionist responded.

Dialing Beans the receptionist talks to him in a hushed tone.

"Me Beans there's a guy here who knows nen that is asking about the location of the hunter's exam" said the receptionist quietly.

"If he knows nen than he deserves to be in the exam, just send him with a navigator." Said Beans

"Alright, Thank you Mr. Beans" the receptionist said

Thoroughly looking at gyro, the receptionist tells him to wait for a navigator to come help him.

'Thankfully, I just came here and didn't waste time trying to find the exam'
