Tina flung the door open and both shouted at each other at the same time.
"It' is all your fault he left!"
"Why did you do that to me?!"
The two stood dumbfounded, anger ranging in the heart of each. Tina was the first to find her words again.
"Do you know the amount of problem you would have caused yourself if he had seen your face?"
"What business do I have with a delivery man for him not to see my face?"
"He will report you as soon as he sees your face."
"What do you mean by that? He doesn't know me."
"He does know you now because you are on the news already!"
"What?!"
"Yes, and Santiago had placed a reward for anyone who would find Roselle and the woman who disguised herself to be Roselle. The whole city is looking everywhere for these two women now which is you." Tina gave Roselle her phone to see the news for herself.
"Oh my goodness! Forty thousand dollars! W… what… am I going to do now?!" Roselle cupped her face leaning against the sofa. Her mind was overwhelmed with thoughts, but the deeper she thought no solution came to her mind.
"Now you see why I pinned you to the floor hiding your face?" Suddenly she felt the pain of Roselle's pinch and she whimpered.
"I'm truly sorry Tina I didn't know it was what you meant by doing that,"
"Now he left because of that," Tina grumbled.
"It's a good thing he left already." Roselle heaved.
"No Roselle!"
Roselle raised a brow, surprised "Don't tell me you are interested in that delivery man."
"My goodness, that's my..."
"Boyfriend?" Roselle's eyes widened.
"No, it's not what I meant, I..." Tina slumped on the chair. "Can we talk about how to solve your problems?" She changed the topic.
Roselle's eyes hardened as she still couldn't figure out what to do.
"There is only one thing I can think of," Roselle stood from where she sat.
Tina's keen ears listened to what Roselle had to say.
"To keep Nate unconscious and shut the hospital where he is up."
"You always have the best suggestions and you know the best way to handle your problems. I trust you with this." Tina said.
Tina searched and found her hoodie jacket and gave it to Roselle to wear. They couldn't go in their private car since Roselle had left her car at the office when she escaped and Tina's BMW was having issues with the engine. The only option left for them was to go by taxi which was highly risky.
Flagging down a taxi, Roselle brought her face low, preventing the driver from discovering who she was.
Tina and Roselle went into the passenger seat and looked out through the window with an ever-increasing sense of desperation, hoping to get to the hospital before the ruin is done, praying that Nate was still unconscious and the hospital had not discovered that he is the missing driver of Roselle. But she was even at more risk if the driver of this taxi will suddenly spot her and deliver her to the police.
The city of Stardust was at its usual bustling, the street full of life. Buildings stood tall and sturdy in there modernity. Everywhere looked as if the city was proud to be the most beautiful city in the country of Miland.
Roselle couldn't help but think that all the people she saw were searching for her and it was either they find her as Roselle the CEO of Biling company or as the criminal who disguised herself as Roselle. Either way, she was in danger.
"Driver, take the BFT street," Roselle ordered the taxi driver.
"Alright, ma'am." The driver nodded.
When the driver had settled on the BFT street, Roselle felt more relieved seeing lesser people in the streets. Suddenly the driver turned on his radio, and Roselle was on the news again.
The driver beamed with the conversation. "That's one of the things I hate about the rich people, they lavish money anyhow because they got the money. Just today a lady had been declared missing and that's the reason why the whole city is in helter-skelter in search of her because millions of dollars is on the line, but if it's us the poor men that got missing, no one cares about us, no one will care to search for us to find us in this manner." He shook his head hoping that his passengers will join in his conversation.
When he noticed that no one was talking to him, he chirp in further. "I wonder where they took the lady to. If I'm the one to see her, I won't hesitate to take her to the police and claim by price."
"Tell me who wouldn't be eager to claim such a huge amount of money? Ah! it's dollars my friends and I the poor man want to smell the money." The driver laughed sarcastically and glanced at the ladies through the mirror.
Roselle brought her face lower immediately to avoid exposing herself. She and Tina keeping mute to his conversation. If only the driver knew that she was the Roselle he couldn't wait to find. The driver sensing his chatting was of no use to the ladies behind him, he decided to shut his pile hole.
Tina ordered the driver to stop and she noticed the suspicious look on the driver's face. She paid the driver off immediately and he drove out of place.
In the hospital, Roselle and Tina were halted by the receptionist who demanded for their details before they would be allowed into Nate's ward.
"Excuse me miss, can I have your name?" The receptionist asked Roselle who had turned away so that she wouldn't be noticed.
"Um, that's the patient's sister. You see she's deaf and dumb and she usually acts that way because she is scared of people around her. Her name is Claudia" Tina convinced the receptionist.
"Claudia?" The receptionist asked as if she didn't hear her clearly the first time. Tina nodded and saw the receptionist try to communicate with Roselle. Roselle acted quickly like she was scared and afraid to look at the receptionist's face, she began to whine tugging at Tina's hand.
"You can take her in, I can see she's desperate to see her brother" The receptionist urged Tina seeing that the lady beside Tina was beginning to cry.
"Thank you, miss" Tina replied. Immediately Roselle and Tina headed towards Nate's ward.
Inside Nate's room, a nurse was tending to Nate's wound.
"Nurse, how is he?" Tina asked immediately she stepped inside Nate's room. Roselle had stayed outside the room weighing the environment.
"He is still unconscious, but I'm sure he will recover soon." The nurse answered peering at Tina's face.
"Um, can I speak with the doctor please?" Tina asked.
"I'm so sorry but the doctor is not in the hospital, he left for an emergency." The nurse answered leaving the room hurriedly.
Roselle was sitting on a sofa in the corridor waiting for Tina. Just then, she saw the nurse come out of Nate's room looking tensed. Instantly, she noticed the odd move of the nurse and she knew that something was wrong.
Quickly, she followed the nurse and she saw her hide in a corner. The nurse brought out her phone to make a call. Roselle hid properly, eave-dropping on the nurse's conversation. "Hello, doctor, yes the lady is here now and I locked her up as you ordered." Roselle heard the nurse say.
Roselle's eyes widened. Tina was in danger! Nate has been discovered!
