Chapter 44

I woke up. There was a bright light in my eyes. I waited until my eyes adjusted. I was in a chair. My arms chained to the chair. I looked around.

Nothing but a table with a computer and a chair. I heard a door open and close. The door must be behind me. The person who opened the door came to sit at the table and chair. They opened the computer and started typing. I used my enhanced sight to try to see what he was typing.

He was typing some type of report. About me... It was all about me. I've been watched for who knows how long. I sit there. Waiting.

Should I say something? I thought

"Hello Adena." The man says

"Who are you?" I ask

He gets out of his chair and walks towards me.

"I'm your father dear." He said

"What? You can't be!" I say

He takes the restrains off.

"Where's Jackson?" I ask

"Your mum was right I do like that boy, he's in the next room." He said

I rush to the door.

"I hope I'll see you again. Dena." He said

I continue out of the room. I open the door next to the room I was just in. I see Jackson in the room. Same set up as mine. The chair faceing the opposite of the door.

"Who's there?" He asked

"It's Adena." I answer

"Thank god!" He says

I get in front of him and I see his face is busted up a bit.

"What happened?" I ask

"Nothing I'm fine." He said

"No your not, shouldn't you be healing?" I ask

"It's fine Dena, really I'm fine." He says

I unstrap him from the chair he stands up and nearly falls. I pick him up before he does. I hold him up and practically drag him out. We walk out of the building.

"Where are we?" Jackson asked

"It appears we are in the middle of nowhere." I say

"Call Casey." He said

"Good idea."

I dial Casey. No answer.

"Try her again." Jackson says

I dial again. Still no answer. I try about five more times and still not answer.

"Maybe she does have her phone on her." I say

"Or maybe she's in trouble." Jackson said

"Don't think like that." I say

"You have Delilah's phone number right?" Jackson asked

"Yeah." I say

"She's one of Casey's witch trainees right? And she can teleport?" He asked

"Yeah." I say

I dial Delilah. She answers.

"Yeah what's up, kinda in the middle of something?" She asks

In the background you can hear shouting and screams.

"What's going on?" I ask

"Casey won't tell me." Delilah says

"Get off the phone Delilah you need to focus!" Shouts a voice

"I've gotta go!" She said

"Wait-"

Then the line went dead.

"Damn it!" I shout

"Try Sasha." He says

"If Delilah's busy and Casey too then Sasha is bound to be busy." I say

"Try her, maybe she'll pick up." Jackson said

I try. No answer.

"See Jackson I told you, do you think you can transform?" I ask

"I can try." He says

I gently let go of him. He stands on all fours and howls. He transformed. I did so too. I mind linked him.

"You okay?" I ask

"I can at least walk like this." He said

"Alright let's head home." I say

We start running.

"Now entering hunters hollow."

Indicated we where here. I could smell smoke. I ran further into town with Jackson. You could see people running and Casey, Delilah, and Sasha trying to help. Jackson and I ran over to her still in wolf form and transformed back into our human state.

"What's going on?" I ask

"You remember Zachariah ports?" She asked

"Yeh." I say

"Well I guess him and his scientists found a way to make hunters supernatural." She said

"What do you mean?" I ask

"I mean, they took dead supernatural and made the hunters." Casey said

"Why are normal people being attacked as well?" I ask

"Because no one in hunters hollow is a human, all of us here are supernatural, or a hunter." Casey said

"So all this time no one needed to keep these kind of secrets?" I ask

"Yeah." She said

Just then a hunter came at us. Jackson ripped it's head off.

Casey looked completely mortified.

"Don't kill them I think I have a way to cure them!" Casey said

"Sorry." Jackson shrugged

"Wait if everyone here is supernatural, then why was I not a werewolf my whole life?" I ask

"Those things are either passed on by a parent or activated by a bite from a alpha." Casey says

"I have to find Julian and Lola." I say

"I already have Sasha with them, she's my most powerful student." Casey said

"Okay, what about Mandy?" I ask

"Or Finn?" Jackson adds

"Mandy can handle herself, as for Finn he's with the sheriff." Casey says

"Can we go get Finn?" Jackson asked me

"Let's go." I say

"Be careful." Casey says

"Casey we'll be fine." I say

Jackson and I transform and run through the chaos filled streets and to the sheriff station. We transform back to our human state. We find deputy Carter there.

"Where the sheriff?" Jackson asked

"He's in his car, would you like me to radio him?" She asked

"Please." I say

"Sheriff, Adena Parker and Jackson McGarth are looking for yah." Sh said into the radio

"Tell them Finn is okay." He radioed back

"Where is he?" Jackson asked

"Sheriff where are you?" Deputy radioed

"I'm on main and pine." He radioed back

Before the feed back even started Jackson where out the door. I followed behind him. He and I both transformed and ran to main and pine. We found sheriff Erwin in his patrol car. Finn was in the passengers seat.

"Get in!" Shouted Erwin

Jackson and I didn't question him and we got in the back seat. Sheriff started driving down the streets with his sirens blaring and the lights flashing.

"Where are we going?" Jackson asked

"To find my daughter." He said
