9.Final Phase

"THE FOURTH PHASE IS NOW OVER" an examiner said through a microphone.

"Phew lucky me, we just got my plate" Leorio said, "yeah but now we're onto the final Phase I wonder how they'll do this one" Kurapika said.

All the remaining candidates gathered together, "you're all some exceptional applicants" said a judge with a smile. "Now then for this final Phase it'll be a tournament" the judge proclaimed which made the applicants excited.

"The first fight is Gon vs Hanzo" Said the judge, "go on Gon beat him up", Killua then put his hands on Gon's shoulder's "heh" Jade chuckled finding this funny, afterwards both Gon and Hanzo walked out and the judge started the fight. *beep* *whoosh* Gon and Hanzo exchange dozens of punches kicks but after awhile Gon is outmatched, "Gon admit defeat" Hanzo says with a low voice "NO!, I will not admit defeat!" Gon shouted whilst being pinned to the ground.

*bang* *bang*

Hanzo continues punch him for 3 minutes but to of no avail as Gon refuses to give up, "sigh why do you have to be so difficult, I forfeit" Hanzo said unwillingly as he Knocks Gon out. The next fight then happened between Bodoro and Hisoka in which Hisoka won and whispered something in his ear, the next fight was killua's in which he won easily.

Afterwards Jade fought against his opponent aswell in which he won easily. "The next fight Killua vs Gittarackur" the judge announced, then they leapt to the middle of the stage in which Gittarackur revealed "Killua remember me?", the pins in Gittarackur started morphing revealing his true appearance Killua started shaking.

"Illumi!" Killua said while pointing at him, Illumi then proceeded to say to Killua he will never make a Good Hunter and that Gon and Jade will never see him as a friend, "oi dumbass Jade and Gon already see him as friend" Leorio shouted which made Illumi panick "Killua I'll kill Jade and Gon if you don't fight me" but Killua couldn't reply as one of Illumi's pins was in his head.

Killua under the influence of the pins surrendered, Jade saw this and something flashed in his eyes, "next is Jade vs Bodoro" the judge announced Jade then came and walked to the stage, "you're injured so I don't want to take advantage of you" "don't worry about my boy, now come fight!" Bodoro said.

"That's fine by me then" Jade said an vanished *bang* *whoosh* Jade and Bodoro exchanged hands until Jade felt a presence coming from behind, it happened to be Killua going to attack Bodoro. "Illumi must've said something that fucker!" Jade said *vanish* *bang*.

Jade sent Killua flying into a wall before he could kill Bodoro, Jade then looked at Illumi with killing intent "wait for me you pinned bastard" if Killua succeeded in killing Bodoro he would've been disqualified. "What a ruthless bastard" Jade thought, "Bodoro let's continue fighting" "sure kid" 30 seconds later Bodoro surrendered.

As Jade walked back he saw Illumi and leapt towards him which a kick *bang* Illumi blocked it "kid why are you attacking me?" Illumi feigned innocence which further pissed off Jade *bang* *bang* *bang* they continued to fight, Jade then used a drop kick which Illumi was about to block but Jade changed it's direction causing him to hit Illumi straight in the face sending him flying.

"Your weak"Jade walked towards Illumi, Jade then felt a crazy amount of bloodlust heading his direction. "Earlier I heard you say you'll kill me, who gave you that right?" "Without my permission no one can kill me" Jade said whilst point towards the sky, "hoo? Cheeky kid" Netero said with a light smile as he was amused by what Jade said.

Illumi sent a punch which Jade caught then punched Illumi straight in the stomach Illumi twisted his body avoiding it as he kicked Jade in the right shoulder, Jade made a right angle block as he backed a few steps away, the bloodlust between Jade and Illumi kept getting stronger until Netero said "both of you are now certified hunters but take this outside after the exam".

Jade then retracted his killing intent "wait for me to kill you" Jade said as he walked back to Leorio and Kurapika. Later on the Hunter exam continued as Kurapika, Leorio and Killua ended up winning and getting their Hunters license, "thanks bro if it want for you I would've been disqualified" Killua said with a blush on his face.

"No worries bro you're my friend" Jade said with a smile as the Hunters exam concluded. Three days later Gon wakes up after

Hearing what happened Gon is shocked but finds out he also passed from satotz. "Jade what are you gonna after this?" Gon asks "I don't know but I'm gonna look for clues for my father" Gon and Killua are taken back as they didn't know, "don't worry it's not like I told you, anyways see ya let's meet again in a few months" Jade said as he walked away.

Jade didn't go with Killua and Gon as he knew they most likely wanted to train and he knew of Heavens arena so that's they most likely destination. "How should I go about finding information about father?" Jade was puzzled but remembered chairman Netero is still here, "let's find chairman Netero then" Jade then walked into Netero's office, "what brings you kid?" Netero asked "I'm looking for information about where my father is" Jade replied.

"Can't you just go to the HQ they have all kinds of information" "you were the closest so I just came to you" Jade said as he sat down. "Ok then what's you're father's name?" "Nolan, Nolan Elrich he went on a mission 6 years ago" Jade replied, but missed Netero's reaction as Netero was shocked "shit! Why do you have to ask for that information of all things" Netero screamed in his head.

"Ahaha, I see Nolan" Netero laughed *flashback 6 years ago* "chairman if in the future a kid comes to you and ask about my information I'd like for you to keep it from him" Nolan said, "why who is he to you?" Netero replied "his my son" Nolan said the room then went quite " ahahahaha I see dont worry then I'll keep it from him", Netero replied laughing *end of flashback*.
