13.Auction Gone Wrong

Jade, Killua, Gon and Leorio made their way towards the auction sight, "right now it's 20:55, the auction is starting in five minutes" Leorio said as they all found their seats to sit down.

As the auction started, the hosts walked onto the stage, Jade's eyes widened as he couldn't believe who he saw, gnashing his teeth together, Leorio saw this and whispered to Jade "what happened, why are you angry?"

"That bastard over there threatened my family, I wanna kill him so bad" Jade said whilst clenching his fist.

"His family must be his sore spot" Leorio thought as he looked towards who Jade was eyeing.

"Jade, this is an auction so don't do anything that'll prevent us from getting the item, we can look for him after the auction how's that sound?" Leorio said.

"That's fine, and right now we have something more important anyway, I'll let him live for now." Jade said is he harrumphed.

But as Jade said that the hosts started firing into the crowd of buyers, "ahhh, there killing everyone" a buyer screamed as he got shot in the head by Franklin bullet infused Nen.

Leorio screams "GON KILLUA, JADE LETS GET OUT OF HERE!", as he pulled all three of them out the auction room.

Jade tried to free himself from Leorio and run towards Franklin, he saw a man defending against Franklin but off no avail as his Nen abilities got cut by Franklin's bullets.

"Ahh!, Leorio let go I'm gonna kill him" Jade said but Franklin and his accomplice disappeared through the chaos.

In another room the man that tried to defend against Franklin got confronted by the woman Gon won against in the arm wrestle.

*WHOOSH*

She killed him easily and her power sucked up all the evidence as she proceeded to escape.

Kurapika who is a bodyguard called someone as he tells him that the auction went wrong and the vault is empty.

Franklin and his colleagues which were the man with the skull and bones and woman jumped into a hot air balloon.

"The items weren't there, it seems there is a traitor in our group", man with long spiky hair like a lions mane spoke.

"No, there isn't a traitor it seems the Mafia must've received a tip of our plans", another man with slicked back hair and a cross on his forehead responded through the phone.

"It seems the Ten Dons and Shadow Beasts are involved" the spiky hair man replied.

"Make enough noise to draw the Shadow Beasts out" the man with cross on his forehead replied.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

The mafia shot down the air balloon, as they surrounded them, "hah I'll handle these weaklings", the spiky haired man said.

Jade during the chaos was able to free himself from Leorio as he heard Leorio's shout in the distance.

Jade then chased a hot air ballon as he saw the mafia following it, "Franklin must be in there", Jade's eyes turned murderous as continued to follow the mafia.

After 25 minutes of following he heard a loud sound.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

He looked at the sky as he saw the hot air balloon falling down, "oh shit!", Jade then stopped in his tracks as he saw a spiky haired man confront the mafia by himself as his colleagues watched.

"He killed them so easily!" Jade was shocked as hide atop a tree watching the mafia die like massacring chicken.

"kurapika!, his also here?!", "whose that with him?" Jade was confused but remembered the deep hatred Kurapika had for the phantom troupe.

"These bastards are really relaxed for people being chased" Jade said as he saw the other troupe members sitting down watching the spiky haired man or playing cards.

Then four people arrived and confronted the spiky haired man.

"Good I can't fight all of them, afterall all I want is Franklin" Jade said as he jumped down, he walked nonchalantly towards where Franklin and the other troupe members were sat.

As he saw Franklin's carefree manner he got angrier by the second as he started sprinting towards him.

"FRANKLINNNN!", a shout came from afar which startled Franklin and the other troupe members.

The woman beside Franklin had a shocked look as that was the kid she got a sense of danger from at the arm wrestling competition, "oho brat what are doing here do you want die?" Franklin watched as Jade sprinted towards him.

"What does that kid want?", the man with cross on his forehead asked confused, "just some little grudge, and I been wanting to kill him" Franklin said with a murderous look.

The woman couldn't help but add "watch out Franklin, I get a sense of danger from that kid".

Which shocked the both of the other men, "hmph, watch", Franklin felt his mood sink after that statement.

Franklin then jumped towards Jade, as Jade did the same.

*BANG*

They clashed with their fists in midair as the ground cracked, this surprised the woman and both men, the other troupers watching the spiky haired man turned towards Franklin and Jade's fight.

"Who is that kid fighting Franklin?", one asked,

"Just continue watching this getting interesting" said the man with cross.

*BANG* *WHOOSH*

Jade and Franklin exchanged a flurry of punches and kicks but couldn't get over the other, Franklin shot his bullets which Jade avoided as he landed 3 meters away from Franklin.

Jade then vanished and appeared on top of Franklin, he threw a Time infused Nen punch towards Franklin's head, Franklin's eyes popped wide open at this as he hastily shoot his bullets.

Jade sped his attack up as it bypassed Franklin's bullets hitting him square in the face.

"Don't ever threaten me with my family you scum",Jade said as he landed with the wind flowing through his hair and jacket.

"Heh, after I'm done with you I'll definitely kill your family" Franklin replied as he got up.

Then Franklin's Ren infused bloodlust rushed out towards Jade, Jade who just heard that statement got enraged as his Ren infused bloodlust also rushed out towards Franklin.

Their auras clashed as they stood there, the ground cracked, dents started to appear from the auras clashing, the troupe members watching felt violent air rush towards them.

"His bloodlust towards Franklin is profoundly deep" said the woman with shock. "Yeah after all didn't you hear Franklin say he'll kill his family" the man with skull replied.

"What I can't believe is how his Nen reserves is that deep and how is he this strong at that age" a member said, they all nodded.

The man with cross had his full attention on Jade as he recalled his previous attack which bypassed Franklins bullets, "maybe I should add that move to my book" he pondered.

Jade and Franklins auras reached their maximum, to Franklin's surprise Jade's aura suppressed his.

Jade dashed towards Franklin, at this point they have been fighting for 20 minutes. "This kid is definitely strong to last against Franklin for 20 minutes, he even overpowered him with his aura."

Bullets rained down on jade as he activated his Time Domain, the man with the cross's eyes shined at this, Jade then bypassed all the bullets as he arrived infront of Franklin.

Then a grey saber materialised infront of his right hand as he swung towards franklin's neck, "we can't let him kill Franklin his part of our troupe" the woman said as she dashed towards the fight.

Franklin shot bullets at Jade but the grey Saber slowed and withered the bullets, Jade continued to slash at Franklin's neck cutting it off cleanly.

As he did a woman arrived next to him and attacked him, he predicted this as he jumped and used her vacuum as a leaping board.

"That was close", Jade thought.

"FUCK, he killed Franklin right infront of me?!" The woman got pissed as she and Jade fought for 2 mins.

Jade then looked towards the other members as he saw a man with a cross on his forehead smile at him.

"Shit!, this is getting dangerous" Jade thought, "I gotta kill her".

Jade's left hand exploded with a lot of Time infused Nen aura which startled the woman as fear crept into her heart.

"Temporal flash", jade's left hand seemed to have disappeared as a palm hit the woman's chest causing an explosion.

*BOOM*

A huge dent appeared in the ground from the explosion, dust and debris flew around the battlefield, the battlefield instantly went silent.
