Chapter 32

Title: The Outside World...

As the d20 now red dice rolls again it lands on 15… and it dissipates. Hope that wasn't anything that would somehow harm me. I don't think that it was some type of Nen curse as I use Gyo and nothing comes towards me or something like that… also hopefully it isn't some Nen ability with conditions that after the user's death, the one who killed him would be cursed with bad lock depending on the roll. I really hope it wasn't something like that because it would suck…

But in the end, it's useless to think about it anymore as I go towards Karla and see how she is handling fighting against seven opponents, I see that she seems to b holding her own and her bandages are flying around her like whips and I see that she too has killed four people and only three are left. I analyze them and one of them seems to have a sniper ability as he is shooting at Karla with a revolver and the bullets seem to have a mind of their own as they move in erratic ways.

I see the guy who has a gun in his hand, it would be the most likely option. But I must analyze every opening and see who is the most dangerous. There is another guy who is wearing sunglasses and then there is a muscular guy and the one who seems to be blocking all of Karla's attacks perfectly. 

He seems to be the most dangerous, I look at his movements and body type. In the end, the conclusion is that I am at least 70% sure that this guy is enhancing his senses making him seem like he can see the future a couple of seconds ahead. But then there is a 30% chance and he can actually see a little into the future, but that seems the most unlikely. Or it could be a whole different thing, but spending time contemplating such things is useless so I just better take action now and not extend this any longer.

Fwosh!

I immediately charge towards the man whom I assume to have the ability to over sensitize his senses.

As I get close and use my Ben's Knife to slash at him, he dodges by jumping sideways. But he left his comrades open to attack as he does that and Karla immediately kills the guy with the gun by wrapping a bandage around his neck and.

*crack*

Breaking it, the masked sunglasses guy immediately turns around and starts running away, I just throw my Ben's knife at him, but he can dodge the knife even without looking, so in the end, the knife misses but a bandage gets a grasp of the knife and...

Swish!

She slashes his throat and he falls down… dead…

The last guy with the enhanced senses also turns around to run away, Karla gives back my Ben's Knife and I rush him and Karla is able to trap him in a cage of bandages and even tried to crush him. But my suspicion of the guy being an Enhancer is proven correct as she can't crush him due to his strong body. The teamwork between me and Krala is impeccable as I just cut the guy's throat, we don't even need to communicate with each other as we know that we don't have the time to waste until she can get control of the guy.

We must save the others… or more specifically especially Azula.

We easily take care of the leftover enemies. We don't put any of them under control and also it seems like wolfy is dead. That is a shame, but it doesn't really matter anymore. We really need to take care of this mafia business that we have got ourselves into or we will have to spend the next decade running around like a headless chicken.

But first, we need to get away from Meteor City, though then the mafia members can send countless mobsters after us. Then we will just put them under Karla's control and fight them back with it. But now I must have a new plan for the preceding situation and where we will go next. I have learned to trust Karla as of lately and can fairly believe that she won't use her ability. Honestly, she would have been way safer if she left me or something like that. 

….

It surprisingly wasn't hard to get out of Meteor City. We just walked out and then went to the nearest city, and here we currently are… in a fast food joint and everything is normal… except Karla that is.

"Sub say ahhhh." As she says that she has a spoon in her hand and is trying to feed me. 

I just look at this uncomfortably and looked at Karla who had a happy look on her face. 

"When I told you that I would help you accomplish any of the goals or dreams that you have… this wasn't exactly what I had in mind." I tell Karla, she just pouts at that and brings a spoon of soup close to my mouth.

"Say ahhh…" I just look at her in the eyes, this is simply too embarrassing to do. "Hey! C'mon now Sub, you told me that you would help me with my dreams… this is one of them."

In the end, I just sigh and open my mouth and eat the food that Karla feeds me. I can hear Ogre and Azula snicker at this… I am the leader damn it… 

As I do that, Karla feeds me another spoon and that is when she drops a bomb on me by saying. "My next dream is to take a bath with you Sub, after that we will cuddle while watching movies together, then I want you to hold me in your arms while we sleep. Also, I want you to look at me in the eyes and tell me something along the lines of 'I love you, Karla'. KYA~ living in the outside world is so much fun. Where will we be going next Sub?"

I look at her dark eyes and blink a couple of times… I think this will be way more troublesome than I bargained for. I only told her that I would help her to show my gratitude for her sticking to my side always… I didn't think that it would go this far.

AUTHOR NOTE:

Just learned something writing these last couple of chapters… never and I mean NEVER write a HxH group battle, I had to think about each of their abilities and how they would use it and then coming up with their conditions and restrictions. I obviously can't use the same ability twice in two different characters, so I had to spend hours (days) thinking about them and kill them all in two chapters… yeah… don't expect that many group battles with Original Characters.😥

P.S: This is the nr.1 story on the research needed for it...🤣🤣🤣

<Six Guns> (Manipulation)

The user shoots bullets from a pistol that can only shoot six shots. The user can manipulate the bullets to his will within a fifty-meter radius.

Conditions:

-The ability can only activate by shooting the bullets with the gun his father committed suicide with.

-He can only control six bullets at once and due to the low aura reserves he usually is defenseless while using the ability.

<Fake Pain> (Specialization)

The user must look at his victim's eyes and by doing that, they can send a shock of pain to the victim, though the pain is only inside their head, it still feels real. 

<Killer Instinct> (Enhancement)

The user enhances his sensory organs to the maximum limit for a short period, also enhancing his neurotransmisor's efficiency. This allows him to have extremely strong precognition. Just tiny air flows can make him notice attacks coming from his blindspots, and watching and listening to the minute changes on his opponent's muscles and blood flow, he can determine his following action rather accurately.

Limitations:

-The user can only maintain this enhanced perception mode for 10 minutes at most since it places a great burden on his nervous system.

-During the 10-minute cooldown for this ability, the user will see his normal perceptive skills somewhat reduced.

-The user can't use the ability for more than 5 times a day or else he'll start having psychotic episodes and experiencing paranoia.

-The accuracy of his precognition is only about 85%, so he still needs to put in a lot of effort on defense in case it is not effective.
