Eric - Chapter 29

As Marcus understood, the man in front of him already activated his ability by attacking at first, this means that the man can attack himself or send an after-image to fake his attack then explode it.

Because Marcus does not know that the attack itself is real or not or the attacker is real or not he could not attack from a close distance.

As he understands this the man started attacking again, Marcus just started running without caring about the man, as he was running he kept taking Peebles from the ground, the man understands what he was doing.

Eric was a man with experience against the fighters of Nen, because of this he understood that this young man in front of him picking up the

Peebles of stone on the ground because he thought that by using these stones as attacking form, he can easily trigger an exploding the fake-bodies and counter-attack the real one.

As Marcus gathered enough stones, he slowly backed away from the man who was kept running towards him and then used his "Nen" to throw the rock with a fast speed, with the power of nen and physical power of the Marcus, the stones itself was almost fast as a bullet from a gun.

After Marcus threw the stone in his hand the Eric body, the body exploded like a grenade again and the real original Eric showed himself and started talking.

"That is a good idea, but don't you think that I don't have any counter for the people who can attack from the long-range"

Marcus smiled and nodded.

"I do think you have, but it is meaningless,"

Marcus real ability lied in the "System" itself most of the time after the enemy uses his ability, the system shows himself the detailed knowledge of the ability,

this was just a hack for himself and the most important thing in nen battle, he will never be caught underhanded if he knew what his opponent was going to do.

Eric just spat on the ground and used his sword to attack again. Marcus again shoots a pebble towards Eric, but this time the Eric dodged the stone,

Marcus understands that the body of the after-image can be controlled by the original Eric because the best thing he can do is find the original body and kill it without making things for hard himself.

As the stones were being dodged by Eric, Marcus just smiled and run towards Eric with his Branch in his hand

Then, without too much work he managed to hit the head of Eric, and an instant, he teleported to other marked trees in the close distance as the body of Eric again exploded into the smithereens.

Marcus then thought inside his mind.

"He tried to control the After-Image more precisely giving him the ability to dodge so that he believed that I will believe the after-image was the original one"

Marcus just shook his head and started thinking in his mind.

"I can easily see that the control of the After-Image is not that great this shows that he is not a "Manipulator", and by the amount of explosion it can be seen that he is not a "Transmutation" either, this means that his forte is "Emission" which means that he can send the "Fake-Image" towards to longer distances than his original body"

Marcus took a deep breath as again Eric started to run towards to with him great speed, without knowing which is the original or which is the After-Image, he could not attack,

but at that time he noticed something different about the Eric who was attacking him with a great deal of speed compared the After-Images he created.
