Chapter: Manipulate

Keanu, Shemarie, and Serenity quietly moved through the Apocrypha's base. Their goal was to find a special communication device that would contact the home planet of the Apocrypha.

Initially, the mission was supposed to be done by only Hades and Keanu. However, due to Hades figuring out the overall plan, Zane had decided to keep him by his side.

The three then quietly turned a corner as they made it towards the Apocrypha's communication room. Thankfully, there weren't many guards around due to the previous assault on the base. This made it much easier for them to infiltrate.

As they walked, Keanu kept his eyes peeled on Shemarie as if he held a grudge against her. Shemarie had been trying to ignore his gaze for almost the entire mission. Unfortunately, Keanu was now tired of holding back his words.

"Shemarie," he started, "...I know what happened between you and Zane earlier."
