Hubby, Please Don't Divorce Me

“You think you have everything figured out by forcing me to marry you, don’t you? Tsk!” Roxanne spat mockingly, her eyes spitting fire at the man before her. “I love you too, Roxxy.” Sebastian regarded her with an endearment that always caused her skin to crawl. A soft smile laced his lips-one she longed to wipe off his face. If possible, Roxanne wished she could tear his treacherous face with her bare hands. “I will so make you pay, Sebastian Sinclair. You would wish you never crossed paths with me. That is a promise!” As she whispered these words into his ear, her warm breath tickled his skin, causing Sebastian to lose control. Before she could step away from him, he swiftly grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer. The slow love song in the background added to the fake image of love between the couple. The grand wedding reception had no flaw, except the singular couple that stood in the middle of the dance floor. One was overjoyed to finally have her, while the other couldn’t wait to torment him for every pain he caused her. “Get your filthy hands off…” Before Roxanne could finish her words, her husband claimed her lips hungrily, causing her to go stiff in his arms, after all, she couldn’t push him away in the presence of all the guests. The loud cheers and applause filled the room, making almost everyone envious of the power couple. However, one thing was certain, all hell would break loose soon enough. ============== In her past life, Roxanne Winslow felt nothing but pure hatred towards her husband. For all she knew, he got her brother arrested and later murdered in prison. However, he still used that fact to force her into a marriage, hiding the truth about her brother’s death from her. As payback, Roxanne cheated on him, plotted, and even schemed against her husband, until she was finally faced with a divorce agreement from Sebastian. It was only after she gladly signed the divorce document and ended up betrayed, scammed, miserable and dead that she realised Sebastian Sinclair has always been the umbrella that blocked out the scorching sun for her. Now that she got a second chance to live, Roxanne would worship the ground on which Sebastian steps, just so he won’t bring up the topic of divorce. She must atone for all her sins, protect Sebastian, and make him happy in this lifetime. The problem is, even if she wanted to remain Mrs Sinclair, a thousand reasons were waiting to tear their fragile union apart...

The crimson white dress

With his gaze glued to the television screen, everything played out before him like an eyesore. Sebastian refused to acknowledge what his mind was telling him. He felt like someone slapped him silly, yet, the person went ahead to mock him for standing still and receiving the slap.

"What the heck!" Sebastian blurted out, rushing to his feet. He wouldn't sit at home and speculate. He needed to be beside his wife right now… No matter their differences.

Seeing her current state, he felt raw fear like never before. As much as he could deceive himself that he was over Roxanne, Sebastian couldn't fool his emotions.

The sight was a bloody mess. Even though an ambulance was called for her, news of her miscarriage reached the public before help arrived for Roxanne…

Sebastian could see how all the reporters were rushing to take snapshots of Roxanne in her bloody white dress.

With Hera's quick reflexes, she caught Roxanne before she could hit the floor. The fall could have been fatal otherwise.

"Get those damn things off her face and help her!" Hera ordered, snapping everyone out of their brief moment of shock. She was scared, and everyone could tell from her looks.

The reporters clamored everywhere, as they all wanted to be the first to broadcast the big scoop. No one wished to be left behind, and the few reporters left in the room were the backups from their companies, who were discreetly snapping photos of Roxanne in her bloody white dress. The others were busily sending feedback to their companies.

Sebastian was already dressed in home clothes-a black short and a matching white shirt. All he needed was to slip his feet into the nearest footwear beside him, reach for his car keys, and rush out of the bedroom.

Sebastian's mobile phone was tightly pressed to his left ear, and he had a hard look. No one dared to approach him as he rushed toward the garage. Not even a fly would dare to cross Sebastian in his current mood.

All the aids in the house could vaguely guess why he was panicking. It turned out that he didn't hear about his wife's ordeal. They thought he returned so nonchalantly because he just didn't care. Alas, they were wrong.

"Where the fuck were you?" Sebastian cursed into the phone, his anger palpable. He had dialed Lambert's contact three times before the assistant bothered to pick the call. Sebastian was pissed at his assistant for his tardiness.

There were no considerations whatsoever, about the time being after hours, as well as Lambert having a life outside work also. Well, he was paid more than the managers in some of the Sinclair Group branches. Of course, he had to be available at every minute. Those were the perks of being an assistant to the President of the Sinclair Group. A handsomely-paid one at that.

Meanwhile, Sebastian didn't allow the assistant to respond, but rather added icily, "Get every compromising photograph of my wife off the internet in the next hour, or, you find another job."

There was no time to listen to any explanations, or answer Lambert's questions. After Sebastian delivered his message, he cut the call.

In an exclusive neighborhood for the rich and powerful, Lambert stared at his screen angrily, the fleeting thought of smashing his phone into bits, flashing through his mind.

Lambert lay on his bed, naked, with a beauty working his little member to an orgasm. It was for this reason that he refused to pick his call, or even check who the caller was. It was not until the third ring that he decided to put his business on hold and answer his phone, only to be stupefied upon sighting the caller ID.

The woman in question didn't bother to give Lambert a breathing space. She kept working her hands and lips magically, making him a moaning mess.

"Uuugghhhh!!!" With a low grunt, Lambert spread his load into the waiting mouth of his companion, relishing in the aftertaste of a release.

Even then, Sebastian's words kept ringing in his mind. Erase every compromising photo of Roxanne, or lose his job. It felt so surreal to him, but he wouldn't blame Sebastian. He was the boss who was easily humbled by his unfaithful wife, after all.

It was about forty-five seconds since Sebastian's call ended, and even though the young lady was doing everything right, Lambert was not in the mood anymore. He just couldn't get his little member to stand.

Failing Sebastian's test wouldn't result in something as easy as losing his job, and he knew it.

"No. No. No. I can't. Not now!" Lambert caught the lady's hand and gently pushed her off his body.

"What the fuck are you leaving me this wet for? Is this a joke?" The lady spat icily, her eyes spitting fire. Meanwhile, Lambert had only one life, and he wasn't ready to lose it for a woman.

"There's an emergency, Bertha. I need to go." Lambert sounded impatient, as he scrambled for clothes in his drawer.

"Tsk! Emergency my foot! Is it not about the bitch's abortion? He wants you to make the news go away, doesn't he?" Lambert didn't need to respond, as his silence was all the answer Bertha Winslow needed.

"Fuck you, Lambert! If you move an inch out of here, I'll let everyone know she did an abortion to hide her infidelity. This news won't go away in seven days, much less in a few hours. Keep dreaming!"

As she spat those words, Lambert was already dressed and searching for his car keys.

"An hour, Bertha. He only gave me an hour " Lambert mumbled, as he kept looking around.

Lambert knew Bertha had a hand in the news spreading like wildfire, but he didn't dare to make any requests of her. He knew how she behaved whenever she was angry.

Seeing how Lambert was ignoring her, Bertha mocked him in jest, "You think you have what it takes to stop this news from spreading? You don't know what I've done, do you? Mtcheew!!"

She picked up her clothes and wore what was left of them before declaring shamelessly, "I'm of to get a fuck from a real man. You don't expect me to wait for you and your almighty boss, do you?"

"Bertha, don't you dare try this! You can't be serious…" To say she would get someone else to fuck her, right to his face was a shock to Lambert-yet he wouldn't dare to linger his thoughts on such things at the moment.

"I wonder why you're still working for him, anyways! Lose my number, dickhead!"

"What! Bertha! Bertha!!!"

Lambert Chuck realized he was in trouble, yet he couldn't chase the woman. With a bitter smile, he watched her enter her car, only for her legs to be spread apart.

True to her words, the car began to jerk up and down, and Lambert could only curse Sebastian in his heart, while casting a pathetic gaze toward his little member. With another longing and regretful look towards Bertha's vehicle, Lambert moved away from the window, beginning his countdown…

…

In the Saint City General hospital, two people kept moving up and down before an emergency ward. They were praying for the person in the room to be alright.

"Let's call the boss again."

"Do whatever you want, Mace. Why do you think they're still not out yet?"

Erin responded to Mace, expecting a response from him, but none came.

"Who's the patient's family member?" The doctor stepped out and addressed the two, who rushed toward him. Instead of waiting for them to respond, he added, "We suspect the patient is having an abortion, but she lost a lot of blood. Get her family members here, or go and donate blood if you're her family."

"Boss…" Erin stuttered as soon as she turned around, taking in the scary sight of Sebastian Sinclair's foul expression.

When Mace turned around, he only saw Sebastian's retreating back. He left without uttering a single word.

The two employees exchanged disturbed glances, muttering at the same time.

"Boss…"

"Boss…"

They had conflicted expressions, and didn't know what to make of the situation.

Roxanne was dying, but Sebastian decisively walked away from her.

Could the rumors be true? Did she truly cheat on him? Besides, why else would she be having an abortion if the child was for her husband?

The internet was once again in an uproar after the picture got released…
