Chapter 2...from bestie to boyfriend

Lily never expected Freddie to do what he did. She kinda loved him, but, he taking the initiative was_ out of the blue.

He was admired by every lady who crossed paths with him. Even old ladies were all dashing on him. His eyes said it all. Only that he never had time for romance.

Or was he waiting for her?

She remembered he once said he would wait for her.

Was that what he meant? 'Oh my!' She quickly covered her mouth with both her palms.

Freddie had reached their destination and had stopped the car when he saw his little girlfriend cover her mouth with both her palms. He lifted his brows at her.

"I just remembered something!" She said with her palms still on her mouth.

"At least take off your palms." Freddie attempted to free her mouth but Lily looked away.

"Come on babe, take them off." He stretched to her side. His hands went to her waist side tickling her there.

Lily burst out uncontrollably. That was her weak point if one wanted to tickle her. She couldn't stop herself. With her back turned to him, she struggled to move away from Freddie. But it seemed the door got in her way.

It was locked.

Freddie pulled the little body in front of him onto his laps. He then continued with his torture.

"Stop...stop...stop. I su_surrender." She said in-between laughs. Her hands went into the air, but touching the car's ceiling to mean her words.

Freddie cooled down. His hands left her waist side to her tummy. He then hugged her from behind.

"Very cruel of you!" Lily snorted.

"I love you," he teased her.

A sound was heard. They both turned to the glass as they heard a knock. The glass was rolled down revealing Christina beaming with smiles from left to right.

"Could you maintain some decency please, you're in public for goodness sake."

"We just got here." Lily tried.

"Ri_right." She scnned their posture in the car. They quickly got what she was instigating at and immediately came out of the car one after the other.

Lily hugged her friend tightly almost choking her.

"You're gonna choke her to death." Freddie reminded her.

"Oh, sorry!" Lily let go of her friend.

"We can talk about it when we get inside." Christina stopped her before she could open her mouth to say something.

She had been waiting for the two at the gate. And when they arrived, instead of coming out of the car, they were rather_ playing.

Best friends of course. How she envied their relationship.

The three went to the metal gate and scanned their bodies before entering.

Lily quickly ran to her friends and enclosed them in a big hug.

"We love you baby girl. You did very well." Her two friends, Benedicta and Stephanie welcomed her in chorus. They had perfectly rehearsed the lines.

"Wait for me." Christina too joined.

Freddie hugged his friends as well. They stared at him in wonder. None expected the behavior he exhibited today from him. He was the type who was never interested in girls.

Except his so called best friend, Lily flower.

That was their name for her. Best friend, my foot.

They never agreed to their relationship of been best friends. They even predicted them falling in love with each other.
