Chapter 7 The Restaurant

Japan.

Shinjuku city, Tokyo.

The Mumbai Special.

On the opposite side of the road of the Shinjuku Train Station's main entrance, you can find a newly opened restaurant called "The Mumbai Special" which is releasing a powerful aroma that will make your mouth water instantly after inhaling it before forcing you to enter the restaurant and eat something whether your stomach full or not.

Even if the station is as busy as ever however the heavy rain made it hard for customers to cross the road and finally let the restaurant staff have time to rest even if they didn't want to.

In the restaurant, a young man below 20 is sitting at a table beside the entrance of the restaurant after putting the close sign since the boss asked him to put it on till the rain Hults.

This young man has a slender-built body with light skin and shaggy light brown hair that drapes over his forehead and left eye. He has brown eyes and he wore a white t-shirt over blue jeans pants.

This young man is called Gauche Adlai

Gauche was born as the first son of House Adlai.

Sometime after the birth of his sister Marie, their parents died in an "accident", and another business rival inherits their wealth and casts out Gauche and Marie.

Gauche does everything to protect Marie, fighting and stealing as needed but no matter what he did it wasn't enough and he even wanted to commit suicide from the stress but looking at his innocent sister who has no one but him that option was never available for him.

The other day when his sister was very sick and to pay the medical bills he had to sell his blood since the part-time jobs were only enough for him to pay for her food.

As time is getting harder than ever he was sitting on a railing of the Shinjuku river bridge while thinking about his next action, although he has dropped out of school a few years ago however he wanted to put his sister in a school and make sure she has a nice environment to grow up but how can he afford to cost when the rent for the small apartment in the slams are becoming more than what he can manage.

If only he had a few more part-time jobs but if he were to get some more job what will he do with his little sister who will have to spend more time alone in the house and he doesn't want her to stay alone like more than the time she has to.

All this pressure is making his thoughts go into disarray and the stress is not something he can handle so with no other choice he can weep alone in the darkness of the evening because when he returns home he needs to show his best smile to his little sister and make her the happiest girl in the whole wide world.

While he is sobbing silently a paper slammed on his face and when he was about to throw it into the river something caught his attention and made him feel this must be a god-sent opportunity that is only prepared for him.

As it is one of the most important opportunities for him that can solve almost all of his problems Gauche quickly cleaned the tears from his face before rushing to the location given on the flyer and here we are now.

After getting appointed by the Guardian of the owner (Aarush) now not only does he have a proper place to stay but now he and his little sister Marie can eat the best food in the world even if it's a little spicy but that is not a problem since they like it even more.

While looking at the rain outside and remembering the past hardships his thoughts were broken by the sudden steps from stairs and saw his little sister walking down with sleepy eyes indication of her waking up a few moments ago and couldn't help but smile looking at her while thinking 'I am truly thankful to the god for giving this opportunity to not suffer anymore and it makes me satisfied just to see Marie having a face that doesn't need to be worried anymore.'

"Marie-chan you are finally awake." asks Akeno with a smile when she discovered the little girl walking down the stairs while rubbing her eyes.

"It raining outside and Marie is scared." says Marie with a sleepy tone before she walks beside Akeno to say with a smile before hugging her tightly

"Akeno-oni chan Marie wants a hug."

"Ahhh~ Marie-chan is so cute." says Akeno with love in her eyes before she hugs Marie before walking towards the upstairs and announcing "Aarush is preparing special afternoon snacks so let's clean you up and hurry back before your brother finish it all."

"He would never." says Marie with a serious face before all her sleep vanished instantly before she looks at her brother with a confused face.

"Don't worry Marie, Neechna will do no such thing." says Gauche with a smile while cursing in his mind 'Will you stop that black belly attitude for once and stop snatching my dear sister away from me.'

"That's good" says Marie with a nod hearing her brother's words since she has complete trust in him.

"Don't worry elder brother Gauche, Akeno was only teasing Marie." says Aarush while walking out of the kitchen with a large bowl that is covered tightly.

Looking at the large bowl in his hand Gauche asks with a curious face "What is inside that bowl?"

"Hilsha Bhuna Khichuri, when I was back in India mother would cook it for us in the rainy days and I am curving for it.

So why not." says Aarush with a smile while thinking 'Even if Hilsha fry was an occasion that we would never have but now that I have the ability it's not wrong to try it and hope they are a little better now that they don't need to take care of me.'

'Every time he will bring something new and it will never disappoint me, I wonder if India is such a magical and that it can birth a talented Chef like him who is yet to become a teen.' thought Gauche before he walks towards Aarush and asking "Isn't Hilsha the King if the fish and the best quality can only be found in Bangladesh?"

"Yes and I specially ordered the Hilsha from the Padma river." says Aarush in agreement before explaining "Although you can find Hilsha in a sea however the saltwater ones aren't of the best quality but the best ones are from the sweet water and the Hilsha from the Padma are the best."

"I can not wait to have a test of this King if the fish." says Gauche with a simile as he tried to sniff some aroma from the food that is covered tightly to the point, not even a single aroma can reach his nose.

"Big brother you promised!"
