Background Information

Adepts: (

Adepts came to be when certain groups of muggles or normies, and certain groups of wizards, who believed they're way of development in magic 'to complicated' came together in the effort of gaining the ability to cultivate a more 'simple' way of magic. By use of many obscure and mysterious practices, they discovered they're own way to create mana and by association practice magic. By way of a magical code or key, family's that had a part in the development of the new system would have the key and by association the ability to use the new form of magic, passed down generation to generation. Wall seen as weaker by the other brethren of magical users, because of this systems weaker combat power, this system of magic should not be underestimated, as what this form excels in is not power but flexibility, needing practice, time and importantly creativity to be used to it's full capacity.

Adept magic relies on a magical power plant, which runs on Dragon fire, extracting the magic property's from within the fire itself.

For spellcasting to be effective most Adepts need to use channeling tools such as wands. Although wandless magic is possible, wandless spells typically have weaker effects and they are more likely to fail.

Wizards: (

Wizards came to be when the first wizard, Merlin, found a way to connect and extract energy from both the emotions of people and the universe itself, allowing for the creation of the magical core. Merlin, his followers, ect, genes were then passed down allowing for the process of making the magical core yourself, to be skipped as the process will now begin as you in your essence are created.

Wizard magic relies on both emotion and the energy and laws obtained and learned from the universe as a whole. Allowing wizards to become a lot more powerful then their other magical brethren in the latter stages of magical cultivation as they cant only manipulate but can potentially control and subjugate 'laws'. Well that is if they actually manage to make it that far, as cultivating past a certain point is almost impossible without learning how to truly manipulate a 'law' which is terrifyingly difficult. Because of this they are seen by Witches as 'ungrateful' towards nature, causing some ire between the two.

For spellcasting to be effective all wizards need to use channeling tools such as wands. Although wandless magic is possible, wandless spells are typically harder to achieve, control and have weaker effects and are likely to fail, so in the wizarding world it is a rare occurance to see, but even then it is usually only used and shown as a parlor trick.

Witches: (

Witches came to be when nature itself devolped it's own consciousness, some excess consciousness came into contact with early humans, allowing for magical power, however this power came with some rules and restrictions. Not to be underestimated, the only two downside of this system of magic is, one, since it originated from nature itself, your restricted to only 'manipulating' natural elements, and 'following and not going against nature'. Two, this system doesn't have the ability to cultivate past a certain point since it relies on the 'natural elements of planet earth'.

Witch magic relies on natural energy to cultivate they're power.

Unlike they're magical brethren, witches don't use wands at all, as the way their magic is used allows for very simple and easy wandless magic. This earning the ire of the other two systems.

The Tomorrow People: (

The Tomorrow people came to be at the dawn of humanity, when the first asteroids crashed onto earth, bringing with them a trace amount of the 'origin law' Mutating into a codex that particular humans unlock at varying scales, gifting them telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation, along with the added bonus of growing stronger over time like vampires. Another bonus is the enhanced possiblity for them to comprehend and gain control over a 'law', almost all gods originated because of this codex.

Shadowhunters: (

Shadowhunters, also known as Nephilim, are a race of beings who are humans born with angel blood. They have fought the demons that threaten the world and have created their own culture and civilization within human society over the years, at the same time keeping the Shadow World a secret from the Mundane or Muggle world while protecting both.

Their angelic blood endows them with special abilities that allow them to achieve feats beyond what's humanly possible through the application of angelic runes.

According to the legend, the Angel Raziel bestowed the Mortal Instruments to a human, who became the first Shadowhunter.

Volturi: (

The Volturi are one of the largest and most powerful coven of vampires. They together with other covens enforce the laws of the vampire world.

The equivalent of royalty in the vampire world, the Volturi consists of 5 core members: Aro, Caius, Marcus, Sulpicia, and Athenodora. Marcus's wife (and Aro's sister) Didyme was also a member before she was killed by her brother. Aside from these head members, it also consists of a collection of powerfully imposing vampires, known as the 'Volturi Gaurd', the most powerful being Chelsea, Jane and Alec.

Magical Creatures and Races: (

I don't think there is a need to go into detail, we will use the same system of power as wizards despite most magical creature being mostly physically damaging than actually magical.
