Hp The Ageless

The year was 2032 sitting in a cubicle crackling his keyboard and coding a video game update. When he stands up he notices that he is all alone checking the clock reading 6:36. The man cracks his knuckles standing up to leave and closing his computer down. As he walks out of the room into the main lobby he hears "Zander."

Looking toward the call, he finds his boss walking toward him. John continues, " Aren't those the clothes from yesterday?" Before getting a chance to answen. John ask "Are you just now going home?" Zander responds "Yeah I am heading home now. I finished a new update for the Harry Potter game." John responds " have a good night or rather day. Why don't you take the day off? I didn't realize when I asked you to fix the glitches that you would stay here all night. When you're up later, why not meet me and my girlfriend for dinner tonight? My way of apologizing and thanking you." Zander answers " Yeah just text me when you want to meet up." John nods to zander and walks to the elevator zander had just gotten off.

Zander then continues his exit walking out of the main hall into the parking garage. He enters his car and starts the engine driving home. When he arrives at home he walks into his older run down apartment building and approaches his door. He unlocks the door walking to his bedroom and crashes on the bed going to sleep.

After seven hours, he wakes up checking his phone to see the time now reads 5:15. Waking up he feels his phone vibrate and sees a new text message from his boss. The text read 'Zander lets meet up at 6. I made a reservation at Prestige, it's the steak house near work. I'm bringing another friend. Hopefully you'll like her.' Zander thinks to himself 'johns not such a bad boss. I just hope I get the new project manager position.'

Zander then gets up jumping into the shower and getting ready for his double date. After 30 minutes Zander is walking out his front door to his car wearing a blue polo with a black pants and a nice pair of sneakers. 10 minutes later Zander has parked his car walking toward the restaurant when he hears his boss and friend john voice coming from an alley beside the restaurant.

Zander walks near saying "Whats up john?" To see a man holding a gun toward his friend and two girls. Before Zander could act the man turns pulling the trigger as the gun now aims at him. After being shot the mugger runs away as John runs over to Zander yelling " No No No Stay awake it's too early for you to die. Stay awake. Someone call 911. We need an ambulance." Zander looks at his crying friend as he starts to feel cold and wet.

In the next second he finds himself sitting in a normal office with a desk and a plain man sitting on the other side. He looks down to see his hands are spectral with a blue and gold tint. When he looks up at the man again the man says "Hello many people call me by different names. Some are Gamab, Shinigami, Thanatos, La Muerta, but you might know me as Death. Unfortunately you have died but you are lucky.'' The man picks up a file that wasn't there a second ago reading and saying "You didn't follow any gods but rather showed respect to a lot of them since you didn't follow them purely there isn't a specific after life for you. So we will be sending you to a new world in the multiverse to let you live another life while you can choose which afterlife you want."

Zander questions "are you saying there are more than one afterlife?" Death confirms "Yes each panthion has a heaven or hell if you will. if you believe in said god or gods they judge you whether you are admitted into said heaven or hell." Zander then wonders "what if you are an atheist?" Death laughs saying "those people are just put back into the cycle of reincarnation their souls are wiped and sent back to the mortal realm. Fun fact if you go to hell it's like jail ending in reincarnation again. In the heavens god allow you to choose when to reincarnate, some choose never to and some go after many years. It appears we are getting off topic but I have good news some of the gods have decided to give you their blessings. In truth the gods get bored and there are many gods. You might not have followed any of them but you helped your mother in her garden and were kind to nature gaining a blessing from nature gods. You had a love for cooking, I see so many of the household gods gave you their blessing. You gave life to many stories so a few of the King Gods have also given their blessing so I have been told to send you to a world that you have helped create. I will also give you a couple of wishes."

Zander interrupts " are you saying that i'm going into a game i made?" Death responds "Well no not really you will be going into a world like one of the games. The people you meet will be real but events that you know will change." Zander asks "which game will I be going into?" Death answers "you will be going into a harry potter world. Magic is a wonderful thing and the gods wish you to experience it." Now do you have any ideas on what powers or skills you wish to have." Zander ponders for a second asking "will i have magic?" Death nods. Zander continues "I would like to be immortal and be immune to dark magic's side effects." Death laughs again saying "I can't make you immortal but I can make you ageless, there are a few ways to do this and I will give you a choice but before that I should say dark magic doesn't have the backlash that you think. When using magic with emotion it can slowly change your soul. As you can see your soul is blue and gold with a light complexion showing you are a happy person with noble qualities. As long as you even out the dark with light your soul won't become corrupted but I do warn you the darker the emotion used the more it corrupts. So in short I can't make you immune to dark side effects. But I can give you that knowledge to help you. Back to your first wish as a wizard you will have a longer life but I can make you into another species giving you more time. Fay have a longer life than humans but there are also dark species like vampires that are near immortal, if you wish we could make you a species of vampire that doesn't require blood. The species I have in mind is called a Dampyre which is supposed to be a half vampire but give me a second."

Death then turns to a computer which wasn't there a second ago and types a message. After a few seconds Death responds "Your in luck Kanchelsis has given you her blessing. she's the god of vampires by the way. She has allowed a new Pureblood Vampire which hasn't happened. So you will have all the abilities of a vampire without the drawbacks and this should let you sire a family but after many generations your sires who attempt to sire will create regular vampires." Zander then asks "I thought that vampires in Harry potter don't have magic." Death responds "I told you that many events and world building will change and this is one of them of course a magical species would have access to magic. Your vampirism will activate at 25, you dont have to do anything. Well that's all the time I have for you. Many people die every second so have a fun life and give us a show. Also for my blessing I will hide your mind from any legilimency so you don't need to worry." Then death waves as zanders as a portal opens under zander pulling him into a dark space.

Death sitting alone whispers "I dont envy you, young one"
