Chapter 224 : That Rat 3

After seeing Peter Pettigrew hanging upside down, Serius had bloodshot eyes. He jumped immediately at him but was suspended mid-air. 

"Not so quick. Remember we need him alive to show proof you are innocent. And for the proof I was talking to you about Rose. Let's hear the guy first, what he has to say." Orion said as he smacked the unconscious man with magic. He actually was under a spell which was making him sleep. 

"Ah, what? what happens." Pettigrew woke up with a jolt, looking around for a specific person. He completely disregarded both Rose and Sirius, right now only person he was staring at and cowering at was Orion. 

"So lab rat, are you ready to tell the truth or need more dosage," Orion smirked as he said. 

"No no please no. Don't do it again, please. I will speak. I ... III I will speak." Petergrew said, almost looking broken at this point. 

After seeing him even Serius was taken aback. He compared both his and Peter's condition and honestly, there wasn't much difference. 

"What did you do with him." Rose couldn't help but ask.

"Nothing much, I made him stuck in his rat form, the very same which Ron had and then closed both him and Mrs Norris together." Orion smiled with a genuine smile on his face. Though it wasn't looking that innocent anymore. 

"That's it, he talks just by that much," Serius asked, clearly wanting his share of the payback that he had to give to the rat man. 

"OH no no. He told the truth before that, everything. This was after he was done talking."

"Well, what di...

"It doesn't matter. I rather have our culprit here and not go into a shocked state by mentioning his condition for the last 2 days. We still need him right."

Now both Rose and Serius look at Pettigrew, not sure whether to be angry with him or pity him. However, after seeing that sinister face, the only expressions on their faces were anger.

"Now talk Peter. Or I have to shock little Peter," Orion chimes trying to look like he will willingly do it, just need a reasonable reason. 

"I will talk, I will talk, Please jujjsttt just ju...Dottt Don't that." Tears mix with snorts and a strange expression appears on his face. 

"So talk," Orion said now with a cold tone. 

"Yes...yes...."

It took some time for that rat to spill out the entire truth to Rose. 

This was when Rose was shivering. Not sure whether it was becuase of anger or sadness. 

Suddenly her hand snapped towards her side where her wand was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. She remembers and then snaps her head towards Orion. 

"Where is my wand ?" She asked.

"Here." Orion raises his hands showing her wand. 

"Give it to me," Rose said as she almost snatched it from Orion's hand. But it was Orion after all. Even someone like a Vampire is not that fast enough to do that. 

"Orion Ambrosius give me my wand." Rose almost shouted. It was not a secret why she wanted that back. That was the first reason why Orion stole it from her. 

"Honey, first thing, It's Orion D. Ambrosius. That last D matters more than the entire Wizarding world combined. 

And secondly, we need him alive, so no you can't kill him." Orion said as he constantly moved his hand away from Rose so the girl didn't snatch it from her. 

It was actually more competition than he was expecting. The physical exercise he was giving her surely worked. 

Rose wanted to shout but she knew that just a look from Orion would just remove her voice. Once this man in front of him decided, he not gonna give up. 

Otherwise, she doesn't have to lift dumbles every day. He made her do it. 

She purses her lips tightly, not sure what to do. All that anger was boiling inside her and had no way to be released. 

Ultimately it only ended up turning into helplessness, frustration and sadness. 

Tears broke out of her eyes. She couldn't contain it anymore.

Seeing this Orion just sighed, the only thing he could do here was to embrace her. Well, he didn't have to as she grabbed him herself.

Sobbing and broking down. 

Orion pondered what to say, he never was good at consoling others. But before he could even say anything. He senses someone coming. 

He felt a powerful magical signature coming towards them. He immediately erected a shield himself, Rose, Serius and unfortunately Pettigrew as well, they still needed him.

Boom. 

Just after that, the door of the shack was destroyed. Orion erected a ward just so that no one came here while they were there. 

But that ward was to stop normal people. The person who came was different. 

Powerful dark magic blasted the door open, only to see a familiar face in front of them.
