Chapter 102 : Dragon Slayer 3

The Goblin of the Gringotts are respected among their kind, as no any goblin can have a place in the world's biggest magical finance institution.

Usually, this Goblin life is pretty steady going with almost zero adventure, a reason why some even look down on them as Goblin are supposed to be a warrior race. 

But today was different, by the time they were about to close the bank, they felt a slight rumble and even noise from the dungeon. 

Chucking that into the dragon acting up, they didn't do anything, although it's very rare for the dragon to act like this, he has been tamed for a long time. 

But later things started to get intense as the entire building shook and trembled. They all quickly make their way down, but just before they even enter the dungeon, something unbelievable happened. 

The floor of the building upturned as a giant dragon head came out from it. All the goblins panic at this, they take out their weapons like swords and knives but they are facing a dragon. 

It's worth noting that Goblins are not allowed to use wands.

"Roar," The roar of the dragon echoed in the entire Diagon Alley, it was already late so many didn't notice.

But for those who did, fear struck their hearts. But here was not just the sounds of the Dragon roaring, but also a child screaming.

This child was none other than Orion. He was grabbing onto the dragon's back like his life depended on it.

Back then, when he fell directly at the dragon, he with the help of force was able to slow himself down, correcting his position before falling, avoiding the mouth of the beast and all these dagger-like teeth. 

With the help of force working for him, he was able to attach himself to the dragon's bone protruding back. He planned to exit this place in the exact way how the golden trio did in the movies and books.

"No, no not there," Orion said as he was also hiding his presence from the goblins. 

As Orion and the dragon left the underground dungeon, the dragon got too excited, no thanks to a wannabe dragon slayer. Flames burst out, and things started to get pretty chaotic. It was like a magical fireworks show, but everyone was running and yelling.

The walls shook, and bits of Gringotts went flying. The goblins were not happy. They ran around, waving their tiny fists, but the dragon just roared louder. 

"Ah, looks like Christmas came a little early," Orion saw the Goblin who ignored him earlier getting thrown like a rag doll and smiling a pleasant smile.

[You are not a good man, Orion D Ambrosius]

"Of course not. But I am a good wizard," 

Orion tried his best to calm the dragon down as the dragon was more interested in destroying and not running away. Not knowing what to do, he even used his Devil's Tongue to see if that worked, but maybe the dragon was having too much fun burning things. Wizards and witches were ducking and dodging, and the goblins were not having the best day.

"Alright, sometimes sweet words are not enough," Orion grumbled and closed his eyes, and when he opened them, the surroundings went silent even after all the fire burning the building crumbling down, the noise was not there as the colour of the place started to fade.

It was Orion's Conqueror's Hak... I mean the Law Of Presence. Orion only applied enough that the Dragon would feel danger and run. Of course, he increased the normal power considering it was a dragon he was trying to frighten.

But the side effect of this was the other Goblins almost froze and even collapsed in fear.

"One minute, I could have used this back then...." Orion just realized that.

[Yeah that's kinda funny....] Merlin Wishtle.

Orion's eyebrows were ticking with irritation. If only he thought about it earlier.

But then finally Merlin said. 

[Don't worry I am kidding, even if you use the Law Of Presence it wouldn't have worked. Your presence only works if you are that much stronger than your enemy or at least same in power. To scare off something like a dragon. You are not that strong. It's only working now because the dragon is injured by you. It's considered a threat to his life and that's why he is running] Merlin explains.

Soon after some Wizards arrived there, Orion had no other option but to let the dragonfly himself out of there. 

He was only glad that his money was saved and no one saw him. He was under an invisibility charm.

He looks around and finds the Britain down as he flies on top of a dragon. He almost felt like Hiccup riding toothless.

"Unfortunately for you pal, this ain't how to train your dragon," Orion said as grab the dragon with both of his hands and started to absorb its power.

[Woh Woh, what are you doing.] Merlin shouted seeing Orion absorbing the dragon's magic.

"Dinner," Orion just replied as he was sucking away all the magical power from the dragon.

"Roar," The dragon felt that as he started to shake around, not understanding what going on as he was losing power. 

This was the first time the dragon was feelin' something like this.

Orion though was attached to the dragon-like leech. 

[Wait wait, Orion, don't take the dragon's magic] 

"Why" Orion said still not stopping drawing the magic.

[I can't explain right now but taking the dragon's magic is not a great idea,]

"Sorry but I have a personal vendetta against this guy here, if you really want a pet dragon then I will find one for you later," Orion said as his drawing the magic from the dragon intensified.

"Roar,"

Merlin tried to stop Orion But Orion wasn't listening to him, he just asked for a good reason why he should not take magic from the highly potent source of magic right in front of him. 

Merlin on the other hand didn't want to explain the reason as they would open a Pandora's box of its own. Bringing him more trouble.

"Roarrrrr"
